A former Miss America beauty queen is running for Congress in a Republican district of Illinois.
Erika Harold, 33, who won the Miss America contest in 2003, is looking to unseat Republican Rep. Rodney Davis of Illinois.
During the summer of 2004, she worked on former president George W. Bush's failed reelection campaign and served as a delegate to the Republican National Convention, according to her website bio.
