READ 2012 Republican Party Platform HERE: STRONG on Social Issues Like Abortion & Marriage

Read the PDF version of the 2012 Republican Party Platform HERE http://www.gop.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/08/2012GOPPlatform.pdf or read the entire platform below:

I suppose while the moderates were trying to sneak in rule changes, they allowed the new platform to be made that is VERY conservative, especially on social issues. Also, contrary to the mainstream media, Republicans still overwhelmingly believe that murdering a young life is still wrong, even in the tragic situation of rape. Two wrongs to not make a right!

According to Phyllis Schlafly, the new 2012 Republican Party National Platform is very good. It is very Pro Life and Pro Traditional Marriage.

According to One News Now, the GOP Platform wants to end Obama's 'social experimentation' on military soldiers. A coalition of 15 pro-military organizations working to preserve the conservative culture of the military is pleased with the Republican platform's stance on social issues in the military.

Below is the official statement about the new 2012 Platform from the Republican Party via www.GOP.com:

RNC Releases 2012 Republican Party Platform

WASHINGTON – Today, the delegates of the 2012 RNC Convention formalized the 2012 Republican Party Platform, which is the definitive statement of the Republican Party’s principles and ideals. The document is a culmination of work done by the Committee on Resolutions and 111 delegates from every state and territory. A special thank you goes out to the entire Committee on Resolutions, especially the Chairman, Governor Bob McDonnell and Co-Chairmen, Congressman Marsha Blackburn (TN-7) and North Dakota Senator John Hoeven, for their hard work and dedication.

The all-inclusive platform drafting process contained contributions from over 30,000 people from around the country through social media including the party’s own www.gopplatform2012.com website and @GOPPlatform2012 Twitter account. The process was one of the most open and united as we’ve seen in recent memory as delegates from Mitt Romney, Rick Santorum, Newt Gingrich, and Ron Paul gathered to discuss how the party would move forward. For the first time, the Committee included a section recognizing the importance of the Constitution.

The 2012 Republican Party Platform has a strong focus on the issues impacting Americans each and every day from the economy, to jobs, and spending. It also includes a dedication to protecting Medicare for seniors while strengthening it for future generations, the GOP’s strong commitment to valuing every human life, and the recognition of traditional marriage between one man and one woman. The platform also affirms the Republican Party’s commitment to veterans, a strong national defense, and defense of Israel.

A copy of the 2012 Republican Party Platform can be viewed here. (http://www.gop.com/2012-republican-platform_home/)

“Our platform represents a party that is unified and dedicated to the most important issues of our day: getting the economy back on track and restoring fiscal responsibility,” said RNC Chairman Reince Priebus. “Americans are hurting all over this country because of President Obama’s failed polices and broken promises that have made it harder for job creators to grow their businesses and hire new workers. We’ve also reaffirmed that we’re a party of life, traditional values, a strong national defense, and a reverence for the rights and liberties granted by our creator and laid out by our Founders in the Constitution.”

“I am greatly appreciative of the hard work and dedication to core principles of the members of the platform committee,” said Governor Bob McDonnell. “Our party understands the importance of a strong national defense to protect the liberty we cherish at home and abroad. We also know as a party how crucial it is for America to become energy independent so we won’t be beholden to foreign powers for our energy needs. Our platform reflects the need to explore new energy in this country and pursue an all of the above energy policy.”

“The platform we developed represents the inclusiveness of our party and reaffirms the idea that we are the ‘Big Tent Party,’” said Congressman Marsha Blackburn. “We received input from thousands of people, groups, and leaders in our party to develop a platform that represents the issues we care about and values we hold dear. I am pleased that we were able to work together as one party to kick-off our convention in a meaningful way. We are unified as a party and ready to elect the Romney-Ryan ticket this November.”

“Our party’s platform reaffirms a commitment to getting our spending under control and restoring fiscal responsibility,” said Senator John Hoeven. “Governor Romney and Congressman Ryan understand that we need to get our economy growing and our people back to work, and they have a plan to do it. They know that our best days are still ahead and believe in empowering the American people to create a brighter future for ourselves and our children.”

The hard work of the Committee on Resolutions has kicked-off our 2012 RNC Convention in a meaningful way that has set a good example for the rest of the convention to follow. Our party will continue to work to prepare our organization to build the momentum necessary to elect America’s Comeback Team this November.

Evidence Shows RNC Rigged Vote on Rule Change at Republican National Convention 2012?

Witnesses say that Teleprompter scrolled "the ayes have it" even before the voice vote was taken. Also, video of the rule change vote at the Republican National Convention shows that the vote seemed to be a toss up with no clear winner and yet the ayes were immediately declared winners. This declaration was drowned out by loud booing. Also, before John Boehner called for the vote he asked if there were any objections and there were clearly people who objects and yet John Boehner said there were none.

Other witnesses say that they were purposely held up in the Convention Bus so that they would miss the vote in the rules committee. Also, news outlets reported that Romney had two of the rules committee delegates removed and replaced with delegates who would vote for the Romney Rule Changes. These committee delegates being held up ad replaced prevented a minority report because there were not enough committee members.

Why even have a convention and send delegates to vote if it is all just for show with no debate allowed and no roll call vote allowed to determine which side actually won the vote?

I am voting for Romney because Obama must be defeated, but these kinds of stunts are not acceptable and should not just be ignored. These kinds of stunts will tear the party in two and allow Obama to be re-elected.

A couple of days ago I wrote an article about some very bad changes that were trying to be made to the Republican Party Rules. These bad changes were an attack on grassroots conservatives and would divide Republicans and damage the Party at a time when unity is required. One of these changes would allow the Republican Nominee to pick who National Delegates are instead of the States. This would not only take power away from the state, but it would also allow the presidential nominee to decide what is in the platform by picking delegates that agree with him instead of the districts and States picking delegates to represent their values. Another of the rule changes would allow the handful of RNC members to change the Party Rules between conventions with no checks and balances and without approval from the delegates.

A compromise was offered, but then it was discovered that the compromise did not fix all of the issues and instead only addressed one issue. This compromise was being pushed as a way to distract conservatives from fighting against the other bad rule changes.

The compromise did distract some delegates, but even so, there were still many delegates who were going to vote against the rule changes because of bad changes like the power grab and centralization of power of allowing the RNC to change Party Rules between conventions. That brings us to the question of whether or not the vote was rigged in favor of the rule changes.

Below are emails I recieved from two witnesses at the national convention. Also below is the video showing the vite being too close to call but immediately called in favor the the rule changes...

What do you think?

From National Delegate Jeremy Blosser:

It was a complete and utter railroad on all issues before the convention.
No votes were seriously taken--the teleprompter included "the ayes have it"
and that's how it was always read.
It was so obvious that by the end
people were just laughing at it.

The VA bus was hours late, so Morton Blackwell missed the rules meeting
entirely.
People on the bus reported it drove around the block and
backtracked several times, until they told them to just stop and let them
walk.

ND and IA buses were also late and were minority report states.

Repeated attempts to gain recognition from the floor to make any corrective
motion whatsoever, let alone debate, were simply ignored.
  That's no real
surprise, but many long time attendees were still surprised at the level
this one went to.  It would truly not have mattered to the outcome if no
one had been in the seats.

From National Delegate Janis Holt:

Unfortunately, we were not able to stop the rules from being adopted as is. There was no chance for debate. It wasn't allowed.

Watch Video below of the rule change vote at the Republican National Convention 2012. There are clearly objections to the vote and then it is clear that the vote was too close to call.

Morton Blackwell: FAKE GOP Convention Compromise. Conservatives Must Not Back Down! Demand Roll Call Vote!

Attention Republican National Delegates: DO NOT BACK DOWN. Go forward with the Minority Report. Reject these bad rule changes. DO NOT BELIEVE THE FAKE COMPROMISE. DEMAND A ROLL CALL VOTE!

This Morning I got an urgent email from Cathie Adams of Texas Eagle Forum. Cathie got an email last night at 3am from from trusted national conservative figure Morton Blackwell. Blackwell says that the compromise we have heard about is a fake that is meant to get conservatives to back down and not submit a minority report opposing these bad rule changes. The compromise only covers ONE of the bad rule changes anyways. There are other bad rule changes that need to be defeated, such as the proposed change that would allow the RNC to change the Party rules between conventions and with no approval from the delegates.

Thank you Texas Delegates (especially Butch Davis) for leading the charge to fight these changes! DO NOT BACK DOWN though, keep fighting! Do not settle on one change but then let the other changes got forward. We cannot give the RNC ANY power to chance party rules between conventions!

Below is the Urgent Message from Morton Blackwell about the Fake Compromise:

Dear Fellow Delegate,

You have heard the growing controversy regarding a number of new power grabs in the Rules of the Republican Party as proposed for adoption in the report of the Convention Committee on Rules and Order of Business.

That committee report will be considered by the convention at today's afternoon session.

Do not be fooled into believing that a good "compromise" has been reached which is even near acceptable.

The Minority Reports are alive and well.  Although ferocious efforts have been made to get Rules Committee members to withdraw their names from the Minority Reports, grassroots outrage actually persuaded additional Rules Committee members to sign onto the Minority Reports since the Rules Committee meeting last Friday.

The Rule 15 "compromise" affects only one of the three most damaging changes which the Minority Reports would correct.  That is the proposal that presidential candidates would be given the power to disallow and remove delegates elected under state party rules or state law.

Unchanged in the "compromise" are the gutting of the currently-in-effect reforms which succeeded this year in stopping the trend toward a national presidential primary and the very worst change proposed in the national rules, the proposed new Rule 12, permitting the Republican National Committee to regularly amend the national party rules between the national conventions.

The Minority Reports would solve both problems.

Proponents of the "compromise" ignore the enormously destructive problem of the proposed Rule 12.  Rule 12 would enable 75% of the Republican National Committee later to eliminate their "compromise" and to destroy or make drastic changes in dozens of other rules which have served our party well over the years.

In practice, Rule 12 would enable an RNC chairman to enact almost any rules change he or she desired, because an RNC chairman already has so much power and influence that he or she can almost always can get 75% or more of the RNC members to vote for or against anything.  A chairman already has the enormous "power of the purse," and should not have also the power to change party rules at will.

There is already quite enough power flow from the top down in our party.  Instead of approving more power grabs, we should be looking for ways for more power to flow from the bottom up.  That's how to attract more participants into our party.

The media's picked up on this series of last-minute manipulations by D.C insiders and consultants, and I'm sure you've been bombarded with contacts from both sides.

The truth is, this isn’t a compromise.  It’s far from it.

This is insider establishment politics at its worst – and they’re dealing furiously against grassroots conservatives like you and me.

And no change to Rule 15 will mean anything if a party chairman decides to use the powers given under a new Rule 12 that allows the RNC to change the Rules of the Republican Party between national conventions.

So I’m asking you to support the full Minority Reports on the Rules – and to not be fooled by any so-called “compromise.”  I especially ask you to take a stand in your delegation for a roll call vote on the Minority Reports.

Shocking Fox Report: RNC Breaking Rules and Stripping States of Elected Delegates. Watch Video Report HERE

Fox 19 News has released a VERY in-depth report about how the RNC is underhandedly getting around rules and stripping States of elected delegates, mostly Ron Paul delegates. I might have supported someone other than Ron Paul, but these Ron Paul delegates were elected by THEIR STATE and Congressional Districts and they have a right to be there! The RNC cannot just remove delegates that they do not like. They can create rules for the delegates but they cannot just remove delegates that they do not like! This is Ridiculous!

The Republican Party must realize that they must work with Conservatives, Tea party Groups, Social Conservative Groups, and Ron Paul supporters if we are going to beat Obama. We need EVERYONE on board and working hard. Trying to win over moderates at the expense of disenfranchising your conservative base will NOT work!

FOX19.com-Cincinnati News, Weather

Also see my latest article regarding the Republican National Convention:

Moderates, Romney Wreak Havoc at National Convention - Will They Destroy the Republican Party?

Moderates, Romney Wreak Havoc at National Convention - Will They Destroy the Republican Party?

Update: Morton Blackwell sent out an urgent message late last night stating that the compromise we have been hearing about regarding these issues is fake and is an attempt to get conservatives to back down! The compromise only deals with the issue of the presidential candidate selecting state delegates and the compromise does not even cover the proposed rule change that will allow the RNC to change the rules between conventions without delegate approval. We MUST not back down!

WARNING! Romney and Moderate Republicans want Control over who the national delegates are and what is in the Republican Party Platform and Rules! They want to take this power away from the states. This is an attempt to mold the Republican platform to his moderate values and also to force state delegates to be completely loyal to him and his moderate beliefs instead of standing for their own beliefs and the beliefs of the people who voted for them from each state and congressional district.

Call All National Delegates you know and tell them This MUST be defeated!

Let me first say that I am of course voting for Romney because Obama MUST go. Romney was not my first choice but he has won and he will be better that Obama.

That being said.....

Mitt Romney Better Check Himself Before He Wrecks Himself (and the GOP)

Romney's Team (his top campaign lawyer Ben Ginsburg and other operatives) and many other moderates in the RNC have introduced rule changes at the Republican National Convention that, if passed by the convention this week, would destroy the GOP and disenfranchise Republicans all over the nation. These attacks are not just aimed at one group (like Ron Paul Delegates). These attacks are aimed at all conservatives who will not compromise or go with the flow.

Romney can court the moderates, but he will not win if the loses the base of the party (the conservatives). He needs the Tea Party. He needs Social Conservative. He Also Needs Ron Paul Supporters.

Fellow Conservative Texan Jeremy Blosser is at the National Convention and he sent me a report about these issues. I was also sent articles about these subjects from other fellow Conservatives like Cathie Adams and Debbie Georgatos.

First, one proposed change from Romney would allow  Presidential Nominee (right now that would be him) to pick the state delegates to the National Convention. SAY WHAT? Individual states get delegates for a reason. It is so each STATE gets represented. the people of each state select THEIR delegates to the National Convention, NOT HIS. These delegates do everything from voting on the Republican values in the GOP platform to voting for the Republican Presidential Nominee. Each state assigns their national delegates a presidential candidate to vote for based on things like caucus votes and statewide primary election results. Romney has won the nomination. He has the votes. Apparently that is not good enough for him. Now he wants to be able to pick the delegates to the national convention. He wants to take that right away form the states.

THIS WOULD ALLOW ROMNEY AND HIS MODERATES TO CRAFT THE GOP PARTY PLATFORM AND VALUES! That is why this is such a bad idea. This change would not just allow Romney to pick delegates to vote for him for the nomination. These delegates ALSO VOTE ON THE PLATFORM. So in effect, allowing Romney to pick his delegates instead of the states picking them will mean that Romney can pick people to represent HIS values in the platform instead of the States and Congressional Districts picking delegates to represent THEIR values in the platform.

The RNC had already betrayed the states last year, especially Texas, by forcing us to change our rules and how we select our National Convention delegates. Last year I declared that the RPT MUST STAND UP TO THE RNC. Unfortunately we did not. Well, now we see what happens when we try to play nice and go along. When we do not stand up for what we believe, we lose and then we lose more in the future because now the other side has a foot in the door to be able to force more changes on us.

Texas is Leading the Way to Defeat this Change! I am thankful to say that most of the Texas Delegation are strongly opposed to this, including our State Republican Party Chairman Steve Munisteri and our two RNC Rules Committee Members Butch Davis and Melinda Fredericks. They are leading the charge for the Texas Delegation against this proposed change and are standing for Texas and Grassroots Republicans everywhere!

Second, another rule change would allow the RNC to make rule changes between conventions, without approval from the delegates and with no checks or balances. The delegates to the national convention are from all corners of America and at the convention they are responsible for voting on the National Platform (out values) and our party rules. This change would allow the handful of RNC members to take that power away from the delegates. This change would allow the Republican National Committee members to have the ability to change this important documents between conventions and without approval of the delegates. The original threshold proposed was 2/3 of the entire RNC in order to be able to change the rules between conventions.  Melinda Fredericks, the Vice Chairman of Texas GOP and a Rules Committee Member, got this changed to 3/4. Mrs. Fredericks meant well, but it was a compromise that really does not safeguard us much. We need to stop compromising and just start standing for what is right. I urge Mrs. Fredericks and the Texas Delegation to also oppose this change just as strongly as they oppose Romney wanting to pick Delegates instead of the states.

The RNC should not be able to change our rules between conventions, even with a 3/4 threshold, because as Morton Blackwell (long-time Conservative RNC member) noted, in his many years on the RNC he has never seen a situation where the chairman did not get what he wanted on a vote, regardless of threshold.

Call All National Delegates you know and tell them This MUST be defeated!

Romney and Moderate Republicans MUST realize that they NEED conservatives in order to beat Obama and the Democrats. Groups like the Tea Party and Ron Paul supporters bring energy and passion to election. There is a belief that a candidate must go moderate to win but that is no longer true. The nation is becoming so polarized that conservatives are getting fed up and joining together. They are NOT just going along with the Republican Party anymore. They can change elections. Look what the Tea Party and conservative groups did right here in Texas when they helped Ted Cruz win the Texas US Senate Nomination against the sitting LT Governor who had limitless campaign funds. The Republican Party needs to embrace these conservative groups instead of tossing them to the side. They need us for our passion and energy to get people to the polls, but they also need our votes! They cannot just assume that conservatives will keep supporting the GOP because many conservatives are bailing the GOP because the moderates are so drastically trying to take over the party and move it more to the left. I am voting for Romney because I want Obama out and Romney is the better of the two, but I have friends who have told me that they are just so fed up with the moderates in the Party, like Romney, that they just might not even vote in the Presidential election because they can not in good concise vote for either candidate based on their values.

Federal Court UPHOLDS Texas Ban on Planned Parenthood Taxpayer Funding

The U.S Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals in New Orleans has ruled that Texas CAN enforce a new law that cuts off Taxpayer Funding of Planned Parenthood, and abortion provider. This has been a roller coaster ride for Texas. Soon after Texas passed the new law last year, Planned Parenthood sued. President Obama also responded by threatening to terminate funding for women's health services in Texas in response to Texas refusing to fund Abortion Providers like Planned Parenthood as part of the Texas Women's Health Service Program.

A liberal activist judge ruled that Texas cannot enforce the new law.

Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott Appealed this decision. The Fifth Circuit ruled that Texas can enforce the law pending the outcome of the appeal. Well, Planned Parenthood tried to get the law tossed out again but ONCE AGAIN TEXAS WON TAXPAYERS WON. The Fifth Circuit ruled that Texas can continue banning funds to Planned Parenthood pending an October trial.

This law seemed like a no-brainer right? How can the government be FORCED to fund abortions? How can the taxpayers be FORCED to fund something that they do not want to fund. Has America gone so far down the wrong path that some liberal, who does not get their way in an election or when a bill is passed, can just sue and get a judge to create law or determine where taxpayer money should go?

Well, in many cases, the answer is yes, American is heading in the wrong direction and there are cases every day where some liberal is trying to force their view on people via the courts. Heck, over in New Mexico, a Christian Photographer is being FORCED by the government to take render services and take pictures at a private gay marriage event that the photographer does not believe in and does not want to take pictures of. Thankfully this case turned out good for the taxpayers, for unborn children and for America. Planned Parenthood was told that they cannot just get the courts to force the state to fund abortion providers with taxpayer dollars.

This is not only a fight going on here in Texas. This is also a fight going on in the national arena. It was not that long ago that Obama and the Democrats were going to withhold pay from soldiers fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan unless congress and Republicans agreed to continue giving millions of taxpayer dollars to fund abortion provider Planned Parenthood.

In the last year, there have been other interesting Planned Parenthood embarrassments here in Texas.

Planned Parenthood of Houston and Southeast Texas is currently facing a lawsuit that exposes millions of dollars that Planned Parenthood has defrauded the taxpayers of.

Gay Couple Sues to FORCE Christian Photographer to Take Pictures of Same Sex Wedding

That is where I heard about this case of a Photographer being forced by the government to take pictures of an private event that violates the photographer's beliefs.

This case is about a photographer in New Mexico who did not want to take pictures of a gay marriage wedding because it violated their beliefs. This gay couple could have went anywhere else but they decide to go to court to force this photographer to take their money and take pictures for them at the gay marriage. The photographer contended that they cannot be forced to engage in speech that they do not believe in by taking pictures that will be used to promote gay marriage. The court ruled that the constitution did not apply to the photographer and told the photographer that they must take the pictures.

ARE YOU SERIOUS? This is what I have been talking about for a while now. The gay agenda and liberal agenda do not just want tolerance. They want acceptance. They want you to be force to engage in their actions. They want you to be force to engage in their speech and not be allowed to have beliefs or speech of your own.

This case has been appealed to the New Mexico Supreme Court where hopefully the judges there will have some sense.

What is next? Force a Jewish writer to work a job writing a blog for an anti-Semite website praising Hitler? Force a black American caterer to serve punch at a Ku Klux Klan Rally? That might as well happen because that is exactly what is happening here. SERIOUSLY, how can the government try to force this photographer to participate in a private gay wedding when the photographer does not believe in gay weddings and does not want to take pictures at one? This gay couple has NO right under the constitution to have pictures taken by this individual of their gay wedding. This photographer DOES have the right to believe gay marriage is wrong and not have to be forced to participate in a private gay wedding that violates their religious beliefs.

I have written about a ton of crazy things recently BUT THIS SITUATION IS NUTS! There is a clear War Against Christianity raging in America. Soon enough we will be put in prison for even simply believing and speaking about Christianity because it will be labeled hate speech.

I thought it was bad enough that the atheists and liberals in America want to do things like remove a cross from the 9/11 memorial. The cross at the 9/11 memorial does not force anyone to engage in an activity that they do not believe in. All it is anyways is a support beam that was left standing after the towers fell that looks like a cross. They want to finish what the terrorists started and tear the rest of the twin towers down by removing this section that was left standing after the terrorists crashed their planes. How does this cross looking support beam at a museum that no one is forced to go to violate an atheists rights? Does this cross force the atheist to be a Christian? These atheists have no right to try to get a court to remove it.

Hypothetically, it would be wrong if Christians did something like forcing an atheist actor to render his acting services because someone wants him to be a hired actor in a Sunday school Jesus play. BUT THAT DOES NOT HAPPEN AND WOULD NEVER HAPPEN. Christians want to just be allowed to practice our religion publicly and not have atheists take away that right or to re-write history simply because the atheists do not like the Christian foundation of America. Atheists and liberals do and have been doing these kinds of unconstitutional things for some time now. It is ok if they do not want to spend money at Chick Fil A. That is their choice. I do not spend money at Home Depot because I do not like what they publicly promote. I would not try to ban home depot from building in my city though just because I do not agree with the religious beliefs of the owners. If I did I would probably be put in jail by Obama and Eric Holder's Racist Godless Department of Justice. The liberals and gays on the other hand have no problem "coming out" and trying to ban Chick Fil A from building in their cities because of the Christian beliefs of the owners. Somehow it is ok for them to be intolerant bigots and do things to Christians like that, but if the tables were turned they would be crying foul.

THEY ARE CRY BABY COWARDS

We must stand up America. We must fight back against these unconstitutional attacks on out freedom of speech, expression and religion. If we don't then pretty soon we won't have those rights anymore.

Atheists Want to Finish the Job of 9/11 Terrorists by Tearing Down Cross Left Standing in Ground Zero Rubble After Towers Fell

Atheists want the Ground Zero Cross torn down from the 9/11 museum because they claim its mere existence gives them physical and mental anguish.

The ACLJ (American Center for Law and Justice) is fighting to defend the cross in court.

The Ground Zero Cross - two intersecting steel beams - is what remains from the terrorist attacks of 9/11. Now atheists want that torn down too.

Obama Campaign AD Mistake - Bad Spelling/Grammar

I admit, I am not that great when it comes to spelling/grammar. I write a bunch of articles for free and post them up without spell checking sometimes. I make my fair share of mistakes. I DON'T GET PAID TO PROFESSIONALLY EDIT/PROOF READ FOR PRESIDENTIAL ADS THOUGH!

I saw this ad online and I had to snap a copy of it.

Sponser High School Conservative Literature - Spread Free Market/Limited Government Philosophy

The following is a message I was asked to send out about Sponsoring High School Conservative Clubs from C. Bernard Schriver Educational / Public-Affairs Consultant:

CALLING ALL PATRIOTS !

Serious-minded Patriots realize that one of the most critical problems facing our
future as a viable Constitutional Republic is the fact that our Nation's education
system is dominated by professors and teachers who are either ignorant of or
are simply hostile to the basic principles and values of the free-market / limited-
government philosophy that held sway for the first century and a half of our
Nation's history.

We are now experiencing the consequences of the gradual, step-by-step
abandonment of those Founding principles and values in our economic, political/
civic, and cultural lives.

If we leave our young people's teachers on their own, we will simply perpetuate the
status quo and contribute to the continuation of our Nation's downward economic,
political/civic, and cultural slide - the end point of which is too sad to contemplate.

To help our high school teachers provide the grounding our teenagers desperately
need if we, and they, are to restore America's traditional Constitutional principles
and values, WE need to provide those teachers themselves the teaching tools
required to enable them to do so.

Our National, non-partisan, high school Social Studies curriculum enrichment
program, OPERATION 2000+ has been working towards this patriotic goal in
selected high schools throughout the Nation for over two decades.

YOU can play an important role in this patriotic effort by choosing to provide
high school classroom teachers in your local area - public/private/parochial - a
SPONSORSHIP(s) to make it possible for them to participate in our exciting, non-
partisan, pro-con formatted, strongly academic OPERATION 2000+ curriculum
enrichment program.

The following make ideal SPONSORS for this pro-America activity: individuals
/ business firms & associations such as Chambers of Commerce / community
service organizations such as Rotary, Kiwanis, Civitan, Lions, etc. / civic, veterans
& other patriotic groups / religious organizations / political groups / Foundations.

For just $250.00 per SPONSORED high school, we will send a series of nine
(9) public-policy resource theme-packets - sent on a one-packet-per-month
basis during the school year - directly to the Social Studies Department in each
SPONSORED high school.

These theme-packets provide extensive resource materials on current National
public-policy issues. Teachers appreciate the fact that these packets save them
much valuable research time in preparing their Lesson Plans for classroom
presentations AND students really get excited about the multiple opportunities for
classroom discussion / debate afforded them.

Patriots like to SPONSOR this program because OPERATION 2000+ includes
material not often found in much / most of the curriculum enrichment materials
generally available - especially our program's emphasis on information relating
to the Foundational principles & values of our Republic: individual rights &
responsibilities / private property / free-market economics / limited Constitutional
government.

NOW is the time to ACT to do your part to advance this vitally important goal.
A Presidential election year sparks added interest in public affairs among both
teachers and students.

Liberty Institute Releases Religious Rights Kit for Students

From Liberty Institute:

Just in Time for School Liberty Institute Releases Know Your Religious Rights Kit for Students

In the upcoming weeks, 50 million students will be heading back to public school, and Liberty Institute wants to equip your family with the ultimate “school supply” – the Know Your Religious Rights Kit.

The Know Your Religious Rights Kit is part of The Angela Project – our nationwide effort to stop the widespread assault of religious freedom in our public schools. The project is a result of Liberty Institute’s 2011 case in which a federal judge threatened a model high school student and valedictorian with jail if she mentioned God in her graduation speech.

In this case, Liberty Institute was able to step in and get the ruling overturned, but unfortunately, many stories of religious hostility and discrimination in public schools are never told – sometimes because students are unaware of their constitutional rights.

Now, through this comprehensive kit, students will be provided with important information on their religious rights. No student should have to face religious hostility and discrimination in school; instead they should feel free to express their beliefs and feel empowered to stand up for their faith.
We need your support to keep this initiative going. Please continue to pray for our nation’s students as they head back to school, share information on The Angela Project with your friends and family, and donate to this important cause so we can continue to protect the First Amendment rights of America’s students.

Texas Anti-Obama Billboard: Bankrupt America Yes We Can!

A friend of mine was driving through Temple, TX when he snapped this picture of a large billboard by the highway. The billboard had a picture of President Obama and it had a simple, clear message: Bankrupt America YES WE CAN!

Help Raise Money for Muscular Dystrophy Association - August MDA Fundraiser by Mometrix Media

The guys over at Mometrix Media are friends of mine. They are pretty good people. The Vice President of Sales at Mometrix Media, Jay Willis, has a young boy with muscular dystrophy. Mometrix is graciously giving 10% Jay's August Sales to the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Last August they gave MDA a check for over $10,000. They sell study guides for over 1000 standardized tests. If you need a study guide and want to help out MDA, check out this letter from Jay.

From: Jay Willis, Vice President of Sales, Mometrix Media LLC

Dear Friend,

Thank you for your interest in Mometrix products!

You probably came to our site to order study materials, but first, if you will indulge me, I'd like to tell you about my family's personal journey with muscular dystrophy.

I don’t like to ask for help. Neither does my six year old son, Benjamin, who has muscular dystrophy. While he can’t run, jump or get up from the floor, he has the determination to do as much as he can by himself. What I’ve learned from Benjamin is that there are some things you just can’t do by yourself, that’s why I’m asking for your help.

Benjamin was born in July of 2006 and we couldn’t have been more excited to welcome him into our home. All of the sleepless nights and diaper changes were small inconveniences we gladly accepted as we adjusted to life with a newborn.

East Texas Obamacare Forum Making BIG WAVES Nationally - Local Papa John's Forced to Cut Jobs

Last month, Jeff Sadighi and the Southeast Texas Tea Party organized a Health Care Town Hall.

Little did they know that their Obamacare Forum would lead to national attention.

This Texas Healthcare Forum made big waves after a local Papa John's owner, Ms. Judy Nichols, spoke at the forum and told the audience that Obamacare might force her to stop expanding, and even fire employees. This is all thanks to the fact that she will not be able to afford the increased expenses that Obamacare would force upon her business by having over 50 employees.

The youtube video of this statement by Ms. Nichols spread around the internet garnered local media attention, like this KBMT Channel 12 story, and even garnered national media coverage, including Ms. Nichols appearing on Fox News.
When Papa John's CEO John Schnatter announced that they would be forced to raise the price of their pizzas thanks to Obamacare, the national media was again buzzing, and Ms. Nichols kept getting more phone calls. Who better to quote in a national news article about Papa John's Price increases than Ms. Nichols, the southeast Texas Papa John's owner who boldly went to a small healthcare forum explained how Obama was the cause of her business hurting and the cause of her possibly having to fire people.

This is the video of Ms. Nichols at the Southeast Texas Tea Party Halthcare Forum that has created the stir: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9IU8FGnR8bU

TX Rep. James White Wants Meeting with No Child Left Behind Architect after "Squealing" Comment

Texas State Representative, a former educator, has released a statement calling out Sandy Kress, an architect of NCLB, for saying that Texas is squealing after the federal government released a report about Texas Education. Rep. White says that Kress has no experience as an educator or a legislator so his criticism means nothing if there is no constructive discussion of how to actually implement these standards. That is why Rep. James White wants to meet with Kress to discuss the situation in a productive manner. Rep. White goes even further to say that Texas is in the middle of implementing our own state standards that are even tougher than the federal government so why should we follow the federal governments standards and ratings when the federal government cannot even correctly evaluate its fiscal standing.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Rep. James White issues statement on school performance ratings and No Child Left Behind
(Austin, Texas) – August 13, 2012 – Last week, the federal government released its Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) ratings for public school districts and campuses in Texas. Under the federal-mandated No Child Left Behind Act (NCLB), the AYP is supposed to be the key measurement of academic performance for school districts and campuses. Based on these ratings, more than half of our campuses failed to meet the federal government's AYP standard for this year. Just days before the start of school, these ratings have added a level of concern, confusion, and uncertainty.

Sandy Kress, one of the so-called architects of the NCLB, has characterized the comments from Texas elected officials and local educators concerning the AYP report as "squealing." This is an unfortunate remark. Usually when someone uses the term squealing, the person possesses personal experiences that provide a level of legitimacy. Mr. Kress has a personal history that includes formulating education policy, but not really executing or implementing it. He has not been a public school educator or elected lawmaker. I am extending an invitation to Mr. Kress to come visit with me and substantively talk about public education. Before the people of East Texas elected me to the Texas Legislature the first time in 2010, I was a public school classroom teacher for 17 years. In fact, during my teaching career, I executed many of the programs conceived by Mr. Kress: TAAS, TAKS, NCLB, et al.

In light of the release of the AYP ratings, it is not squealing, but the desire for clarity and meaning that Mr. Kress is hearing. First, everyone knows that we are in the process of validating a new accountability tool that is touted as being more rigorous and demanding (and that should be welcomed). But beyond that, should anyone even take these ratings seriously. This is the same federal government that fails to evaluate its fiscal standing and due to political dysfunction, the Congress and the President cannot even come to an agreement on extending the NCLB. The people of Texas have not demanded federal management of their local school districts and the Constitution does not mandate it.

I look forward to a constructive conversation with Mr. Sandy Kress, not gratuitous remarks, about the employment of effective, efficient, and meaningful accountability tools and measures that provide our parents and students optimum liberty within the confines and constructs of our state constitution and laws.

Shooting at Family Research Council - Shooter Opposed Chick-Fil-A & FRC's Pro-Life Pro-Family Agenda

UPDATE:
The shooter is a liberal activist who had been volunteering at a community center for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender people (LGBT), according to the Associated Press. The Gunman is identified as Floyd Lee Corkins II
and the guard is identified as Leo Johnson.
UPDATE:
The Shooter was also targeting the Traditional Values Coalition, according to TVC President Andrea Lafferty who says their office address was on a paper in the gunman's pocket.

A hero guard was shot today as he stopped a gunman from entering the Family Research Council in Washington DC. The shooting is being investigated as an act of domestic terrorism. Family Research Council is a Christian, conservative based organization. Fox News reports that witnesses say the shooter was speaking out against the Family Research Council's Pro-Life, Pro-Family agenda as he tried to enter the building. A security Guard stopped the shooter to ask where he was going and that is when the security guard was shot. Thankfully, the guard fought back, even after being shot, and was able to wrestle the shooter to the ground and took the gun. Witnesses say that after the shooter was subdued, the shooter told the guard, "it was not about you, it was about what this place stands for." The shooter was allegedly even carrying a Chick-Fil-A bag as he tried to enter the building.

According to Media Research Center, Tony Perkins, the President of FRC, was an outspoken defender of Chick-fil-A President Dan Cathy’s public stand against same-sex marriage, which made the fast-food chain a flashpoint in the nation’s culture wars. The Cathy family foundation has funded the Family Research Council.

‘‘He’s taking a bold stand,’’ Perkins said after Cathy’s comments were reported. ‘‘Chick-fil-A is a Bible-based, Christian-based business who treats their employees well. They have been attacked in the past about their stand. But they refuse to budge on this matter, and I commend them for what they are doing.’’

Family Research Council has been involved in protecting traditional marriage nationwide and fighting against the killing of unborn babies. FRC recently supported and promoted the Chick-Fil-A Appreciation Day. I was one of the many people who waited in line to get a chicken sandwich at Chick-Fil-A to support free speech and support traditional marriage. It was a record breaking day for Chick-Fil-A. Those opposed to Chick-Fil-A and Christian, conservative values must have been very upset to see that that most Americans support family values. Chick-Fil-A Appreciation Day brought thousands of supporters to EACH Chick-Fil-A all across America. The anti-Family, Pro-Abortion, Pro-Homosexual Marriage supporters were only able to get very few supporters to show up to protests "kiss ins" at few Chick-Fil-A locations in America.

It seems as though this shooting was motivated by hate and anger by a man who does not like the Christian, conservative beliefs of FRC or Chick-Fil-A. It does not help that this hate was likely fueled by liberals and Democrats who got on national TV and illegally and unconstitutionally threatened to use their government power to kick Chick-Fil-A out of their cities because of the personal Christian beliefs of the owner of Chick-Fil-A. These liberals call for tolerance of other people's beliefs, unless you are a Christian and then they don't seem to believe your beliefs should not be tolerated. They go past just not tolerating Christian beliefs though. Can you imagine a mayor saying that no businesses would be allowed to open in his city if the business was owned by a gay person? There would be national outrage! And yet, the liberal media did not seem outraged that mayors in cities like Boston and Chicago openly stated that they would prevent a business (Chick-Fil-A) from opening in their cities because the owner has Christian beliefs.

What a sad day in America.

Even as I post this article, the liberal New York Times has the articles about this shooting at the bottom of the news section under the title "More News." Higher up on the NY Times front page, under the main news section, they have a much more breaking news article titled: Gay Male Stand-Up Comics Await Spotlight

Brandon Darby Exposes Child Sex Trafficking Cover-up by Eric Holder's DOJ

Brandon Darby has hit the national scene (again). This time, Darby has come out swinging (on TownHall.com) at Eric Holder's Department of Justice with proof that the DOJ has covered-up multiple cases of Child Sex Trafficking. This comes on the heels of Eric Holder being Held in Contempt by the United States House of Representatives for refusing to release documents in the fast and furious gun walking program that led to the death of federal border patrol agent Brian Terry.

Brandon Darby is not your average Texan. Darby is a conservative hero. Darby was once a liberal activist. Darby realized that liberal values were taking America in the wrong direction and were even becoming violent. After Darby became an FBI informant and exposed a plot by two liberal activists to bomb the 2008 Republican National Convention, Darby officially "came out" as a new conservative and began fighting to help people using conservative values instead of hurting them with liberal values.

I met Darby when he came to my neck of the woods (Lumberton, Texas) to gather info for his story NAACP Chapter President plays Race Card to Cover-up Child-Rape Charges Against His Relative. I was honored to help Darby by investigating Texas Media Bias and how The Silsbee Bee Downplayed the Child Rape Even After the Assailant Pleaded Guilty to Assault.

I followed Darby's activities and was able to interview him about how He brings Andrew Breitbart's Conservative Fighting Style to the Texas Ring. During last year's massive Texas Wildfires in Texas, Darby used the organization he founded (Citizen Patriot Response) to help victims of the wildfires.

Read Darby's latest article exposing the child sex trafficking cover-up here on TownHall.com

Mitt Romney Has Chosen Paul Ryan as Vice President on Republican Side of 2012 U.S. Presidential Race

According to Fox News, the Associated Press has confirmed that Paul Ryan has been picked as Mitt Romney's running mate against Barack Obama in the 2012 United States Presidential Election this November. Mitt Romney will officially make the announcement later this morning in Virginia.

Paul Ryan has been a Tea Party fiscal hero in recent years because, as the House Budget Chairman, he has openly stood up for drastic economic and fiscal reforms aimed at cutting back government spending and balancing the budget.

Paul Ryan was a guest speaker at the 2012 Texas Republican Party State Convention. Paul Ryan also endorsed Ted Cruz for U.S. Senate in a very heated 2012 Texas GOP Primary Runoff. Ted Cruz won against a well funded, and well known, LT Governor David Dewhurst. This Ted Cruz win sent ripples across America because it showed that the Tea Party can still be a force to reckon with and has not fizzled out.

Mitt Romney likely chose Paul Ryan to secure the backing of the conservative tea party side of the Republican Party. Some conservatives, although they want to see Obama defeated and will support Romney over Obama, have not gotten excited about a moderate Mitt Romney being the Republican nominee. By picking tea party conservative Paul Ryan, Romney likely wishes get the conservative tea party members excited and energized about the upcoming election.

Federal Judge Rules "No Constitutional Right to Gay Marriage" Upholds Gay Marriage Voter Ban

Don't believe the Lies, most Americans support Traditional Marriage between a man and a woman. Most States have even voted to pass a constitutional ban on gay marriage, including California! (See list of states who have voted to protect traditional marriage below)

Below is an email I got recently with information regarding a Federal Judge upholding traditional marriage. Yes, even federal Judges are supporting traditional marriage even though the liberal media does not publicize it.

From Brian Brown of National Organization for Marriage:

Federal Judge: No Right to Gay Marriage! NOM Marriage News, August 9, 2012

Thursday, August 9, 2012

Dear Marriage Supporter,

After a week dominated by the Chick-fil-A grassroots support movement there is more goodnews for marriage that you will never hear on the nightly news. Earlier this week another federal judge rejected the claim that there is aconstitutional right to gay marriage!

A same-sex couple tried to get Hawaii's marriage laws struck down on the grounds that they are allegedly irrational and rooted in bias towards gay people.

Hawaii, you will recall, was the original seat of the litigation wars seeking to impose gay marriage upon theAmerican people.  The population of the blue state of Hawaii responded in 1998 by overwhelmingly passing (69 percent to 29 percent) the very firstmarriage amendment, clarifying that the legislature has the right to define marriage as the union of one man and one woman.

Now a federal judge has affirmed the right of the people of Hawaii to make that determination—and in the process rejected theargument that marriage is rooted in bias or bigotry:

"Throughout history and societies, marriage has been connected with procreation and childrearing.... It follows that it is not beyond rational speculation to conclude that fundamentally altering the definition of marriage to include same-sex unions might result in undermining the societal understanding of the link between marriage, procreation, and family structure."

"In this situation," the court continued, "to suddenly constitutionalize the issue of same-sex marriage 'would short-circuit' the legislative actions that have been taking place inHawaii."

Bottom line: "Because Hawaii's marriage laws are rationally related to legitimate government interests, they do not violate the federal Constitution."

The majority of courts, as well as the majority of citizens, recognize that our marriage laws are not rooted inhatred towards gay people or anyone else!  I wish more gay marriage advocates could see this.

Texas Tribune's Morgan Smith Writes About Pro-Life Pre-Teen Camp in New York Times Article

I am not a fan of the New York Times, but Texas Tribune's Morgan Smith has written a good article that has been re-printed in the New York Times.

Smith visit's a Pro-Life pre-teen camp in Texas. She recorded a video about her visit and wrote an article about it. Smith gives readers a fair inside look at what goes on at this camp and the people who go there.

Melissa Pici from Texas Right To Life was very pleased at the fair coverage that their camp recieved in the article. I am too!

I especially like how Smith really showed the caring side of these pro life campers and camp staff. They not only care about the unborn children, but they also care about the mothers of the unborn children.

Chick Fil A's PACKED! America Rallies for Free Speech & Traditional Marriage!

Liberal intolerant idiots. They cry out for tolerance but they turn around and are intolerant to Christians. They woke a sleeping giant. Here is a picture from the Chick Fil A in Beaumont, TX. The line is wrapped around OUTSIDE of the building! This is just the BEGINNING of the line! Not to mention the line of over 50 cars in the drive thru! The local media was frustrated because they wanted to interview both sides but they could not find even one person here opposing Chick Fil A!
