Texas Transvestite Teacher Confuses 5th Grade Students at Lumberton ISD – Suspended after Outrage

The small, predominantly Christian community of Lumberton, TX is once again about to hit the national scene. The Lumberton Independent School has suspended a transvestite teacher. There will be a School Board meeting this Thursday night at 7pm where it is expected there will be a large number of outspoken people from both sides who show up to speak during the public comment time. State Board of Education member David Bradly had this to say regarding the upcoming school board decision, “He does not have to be fired as substitutes are not under contract. The district just fails to call him for the next days work.” Furthermore, men who want to dress up as women are not a protected class under the Constitution or state law and therefore the teacher can be fired. Especially in schools, there is broad authority to make decisions based on what the people of the community wants and believes is in the best interest of the vulnerable students of the school district. I suspect the man will try to sue and we will have a trial with national implications.

If the board goes into executive session to privately discuss personnel, some believe that the School Board will also discuss who hired him in the first place and thought it was ok for him to wear a dress in front of 10 year olds who were so distracted that they could not take their tests. Superintendent John Valastro has taken heat in recent years due to high profile issues. In this case, Valastro is not over picking substitute teachers, but he did suspend the teacher following the recent complaints. I have written several articles regarding Lumberton ISD issues, from vulgar school plays with cursing, to CSCOPE, to students wearing Muslim Burqas, to liberal teachers wearing vote Obama shirts and telling students not to watch Fox News. John Griffing’s WND story on the Burqa issue led to national attention and even helped push out CSCOPE curriculum on a statewide level (although it is still around).

Lumberton is a great community and has a great educational environment compared to other public schools. I live here and I personally hate to see the school getting so much negative attention because it is not a reflection of the majority of the teachers and administration. Unfortunately, in order to fix problems and make sure they do not happen again, you have to expose the problems. It is a dirty job but someone has to do it.

I first heard about the issue when my youngest brother came home and told me about the kids talking about a male substitute teacher that was in a different class. This teacher was signing his name as Mrs. I thought that was strange, but I did not realize the extent of what was going on until I heard Chip Darby talking about the issue on freedom 1300. Apparently there was a male teacher wearing a dress and makeup at the Lumberton Intermediate School.

The teacher’s name is Laura Jane Klug (born Kurt Klug). I looked him up on Facebook and what I found was an emotionally disturbed and confused older man. He has not always wanted to be a woman. According to a note he posted on his Facebook page on July 7th, 2011 titled “How Much More Can I Take?” Kurt Klug was emotionally distraught and seemingly ready to give in with his life because of the pain of his female wife leaving him. The pain and distraught of his wife leaving him must have driven him to decide that he wanted to become a woman. From 2011 until now, Kurt changed his name to Laura Jane Klug and started dressing up like a woman and acting like a woman. He has joined many lesbian, gay and transgender pages on Facebook. Oh, and he also likes Texas Politician Dan Branch’s page.

Let me get one thing straight, I do not hate this man, nor am I angry at him. I feel bad for him. He was so hurt and emotionally distraught that he was driven to wanting a radical change. He seems like he was and maybe still is a Christian, but he is certainly hurting and has lost his way. We all have issues and this is his issue.

That being said, a school house with young, impressionable, easily distracted and easily confused children is not the place for this man to be. The school has very strict dress codes and boys cannot even have long hair. The environment is controlled to minimize distractions so that the students can learn. Like it or not, a transvestite is a distraction. Not only that, he frightened and confused many students who then went home to their parents who had to have age inappropriate conversations with their children.

Roger Beard, whose son was in the class Klug was subbing, is an outspoken parent who talked to the local Channel 12 News about this issue. He said what concerns him is the distraction he believes a transgender teacher poses to ten and eleven year old children.

"If it does affect my child and his ability to learn or if it causes questions that I don't feel are appropriate then undoubtedly there's an issue with having somebody transgender, transsexual or transvestite, to be teaching that age group," Beard said.

Sheli Jones Wells also had a child in the class and she posted this comment on Facebook about the situation, “I did have to explain to my daughter what transgender was last Thursday afternoon because it was her home room class he was in. I was none to happy to venture down that road with my 11 year old. Judge? No. But do I have reservations about WHY this person wants to be in our schools for $60 a day, you better believe it.”

I wanted to hear what others in Lumberton had to say, that is when I took to Facebook to see what I could find out from friends who work at or have students at the Intermediate School.

The response I got was overwhelming.

Below are screenshots of what I posted on Facebook, and some of the responses that I got:

Barry Smitherman: Texas Preparing for Sovereignty if U.S. Falls Apart – Attorney General Race Update

In an interview with WND’s John Griffing, Texas Railroad Commission Chairman, and Texas Attorney General Candidate, Barry Smitherman, said that Texas is preparing to survive as an independent nation if the U.S. falls apart. Smitherman simply wants us to be ready for if the time comes when Texas is on her own without the Federal government. I have a generator to power my house if the power goes out. I do not want the power to go out, but if it does I am prepared to keep the lights on. Shouldn’t Texas also be prepared to keep the lights on if the federal government goes out?

I have always liked Barry Smitherman. He stands for what is right without thinking about political correctness. Heck, he has sued Obama 7 times already! He is not just a Christian conservative. He is a Christian conservative who can LEAD. I see in him the passion that I saw in Ted Cruz when I went out on a limb and supported Cruz against the establishment grain. Smitherman is being smart and thinking ahead. He is thinking about Texas, but certainly not turning his back on America. As a Texan myself, I completely support Smitherman’s survival plan just as I supported a bill that State Rep James White filed in 2013 called the “Texas Self Sufficiency Act”. White’s bill would prepare Texas for sovereignty by doing a study to determine, financially, how Texas will survive on our own if the Federal Government collapses. We are not talking about pushing for Texas Secession. We are just talking about being prepared for anything that might happen if the very volatile and unstable Federal Government falls apart. This means being prepared for even the possibility of Texas secession, independence, surviving on our own, etc.

I am not advocating for Texas to become enemies with America or turn our backs on America, and neither is Smitherman, but there is a very real possibility that the U.S. will fall apart and crumble over things like MASSIVE debt. What will we do if the U.S. falls apart? Do we have a plan for Texans to survive on our own? Are we capable of surviving on our own? The State of Texas should not wait until the U.S. fails to simply be prepared and be capable of surviving IF the U.S. fails.

Select Quotes form Barry Smitherman from the WND interview:

“Generally speaking, we have made great progress in becoming an independent nation, an ‘island nation’ if you will, and I think we want to continue down that path so that if the rest of the country falls apart, Texas can operate as a stand-alone entity with energy, food, water and roads as if we were a closed-loop system,” Smitherman said.

He added that the state is “uniquely situated because we have energy resources, fossil and otherwise, and our own independent electrical grid.”

“This was one of my goals at the Utility Commission and it is one my goals currently as chairman of the Railroad Commission,” Smitherman said. “That’s why I stress so vehemently oil and gas production, permitting turnaround times, and everything that enables the industry to produce as much as it can, as quickly as it can.”

Smitherman added in the interview that Texas has “been very strong leading in the charge against the Obama administration.”

Video Shows Illegal Arrest & Perjury by Texas Judge Layne Walker and Jefferson County Sheriff Deputies

Shocking corruption uncovered in Southeast Texas. The FBI is investigating after a secret video proves that Democrat State District Judge Layne Walker, his court law enforcement officers, and other officials in Beaumont, Jefferson County , TX committed a vast number of crimes including FALSE ARREST, PERJURY, THEFT, DESTRUCTION OF EVIDENCE. (see video below at end of article)

East Texas is Corrupt but this is especially shocking because this is our law enforcement and justice system conspiring together to break the law and put a man in jail! We are supposed to be able to trust them. Texas State Authorities need to step in as soon as possible and charge these public officials and remove the Judge from the bench. Furthermore, the false charges against Stephen Hartman must be dropped immediately. Can you imagine if there was no secret video? God help anyone else who has been wronged by this Judge who thinks he is above the law.

I am writing this article after speaking directly with Hartman’s attorney, John Morgan, who provided me the information, facts, and video to prove these shocking allegations are indeed true. A website has even been created to expose Corrupt Judge Walker http://downwithwalker.com/. John Griffing, a reporter for WND, has also been helping expose this Judge's corruption and his most recent WND article about Corrupt Judge Walker can be found here.

Judge Layne Walker has Long History of Corruption including Misappropriating Taxpayer Funds, Illegal Search of Cell Phones, and Political Retaliation by taking a Man’s Children away

Judge Walker was exposed recently for misusing money from the Texas Indigent Defense Fund. This fund, by law, can only be used for indigent legal fees. According to a complaint sent the Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott, Judge Walker made 21 payments from the Indigent Defense Fund to “Right Time Educational Support Systems.” These 21 payments illegally went to pay for things other than legal fees of the indigent.

One of the lawyers representing the individuals who exposed this misappropriation of funds is John Morgan. After Judge Walker was exposed, Walker retaliated against Morgan by taking away Morgan’s children in a child custody case and not letting Morgan even see his children still to this day, over a year, while still requiring Morgan to pay full child support. Morgan has never done anything wrong legally, has never been accused of wrongdoing with his children, and is completely mentally and physically competent. Judge Walker is childhood friends with Morgan’s ex-wife and should have recused himself, but instead Walker used his power to take a man’s children away with no visitation rights simply because Morgan was associated with the people who exposed Walker’s illegal use of funds and because Walker is a friend of Morgan’s Ex-Wife.

Judge Walker even illegally confiscated the cell phones from Morgan and his Children and deleted information on the phones that showed abuse of the children by Morgan’s Ex-Wife. Judge Walker tried to bill Morgan for the illegal search. Walker was clearly wrong and Morgan filed a lawsuit. Walter lost and was slapped down by the Texas State 9th Court of Appeals for these illegal actions.

Judge Walker Pulls Gun on Process Server Stephen Hartman

Stephen Hartman is a licensed Process Server. Hartman tried to serve Judge Layne Walker with a subpoena by knocking on Walker’s front door. Walker opened the door with a gun and ran Hartman off. Hartman then tried to serve the papers at Walker’s officer but his staff did not allow it.

Judge Walker and Jefferson County Sheriff Deputies Illegally Arrest Stephen Hartman, Commit Perjury, Theft of Evidence, etc.

Serving Judge Walker at his home didn’t work and might get someone killed, and it was a no go at Walker’s office too, so Hartman decided a more public place was needed to serve the papers so that the Judge cannot refuse and could not pull a gun. Hartman went to Judge Walker’s Courtroom on May 28th, 2013. As video below shows, Hartman sat in the Courtroom until there was about to be a break. Hartman then got up and walked to the side of the courtroom to quietly get the attention of the bailiff. Hartman never crossed the bar or tried to approach the Judge. The Officer came over and Hartman said he needed to serve the Judge. A second officer came over and told Hartman he needed to leave or be arrested. The judge says to arrest him so the second officer then forced Hartman out of the courtroom and placed him under arrest, all the while Hartman was asking what he was being arrested for and saying he was not doing anything wrong.

This is where things just go even more downhill. The officers, Judge, Assistant DA, and other officials in the room had no idea there was a secret video so they all had to back up the arrest by conspiring together to write false statements saying that Hartman crossed the bar and was being load and disruptive, etc. Well, the secret recording of the incident (see below) proved that they all committed perjury and illegally arrested and charged Hartman.

It gets worse, one of Mitch Woods’ Jefferson County Deputies, acting under the orders of Judge Walker, broke the seal of the property bag of Stephen Hartman and went though Hartman’s phone. This Deputy then found the secret recorder pen and removed it from the property bag. When Hartman asked for the recorder pen back, he was told there was no pen. In reality, the deputy had taken the pen HOME and tried to destroy the video. Under mounting pressure, the Department got the video pen back from this deputy and returned it to Hartman. The deputy could not delete the video so he tried to hide the video by uploading lots of other videos of dancing girls.

So there you have it. Shocking public corruption, Beaumont, TX style. I am sure everyone in Texas has at one time heard of the vast corruption in the Beaumont Independent School District. The corruption in Jefferson County is not confined to one area. It is everywhere. Hopefully this video will finally put some of the bad guys behind bars, or at least off the bench.

Lumberton ISD (Texas) Students Told to Wear Muslim Burqas in CSCOPE High School Lesson

Update: After Muslim Burqa Lesson, Student Pulled From Lumberton School - minor students cried today after being forced to sign incident report about what happened without parent notified or allowed to be at the meeting, parents furious - the school says this lesson seems to be a Lumberton lesson and not CSCOPE lesson, but CSCOPE Experts say it was CSCOPE influenced - Senator Dan Patrick Investigating

read more updates here: http://www.texasconservativerepublicannews.com/2013/02/update-after-muslim-burqa-lesson.html

original story:

Wow, I don’t even know what to say. I just read a news story by John Griffing on WND.com about my very own Hometown High School in Lumberton, TX (Lumberton ISD) making students wear Muslim Burqas as part of a History class this past week. (picture displayed below is from a Lumberton Student taken when they had to wear Burqas in class)

I took down the original picture and put one up with faces blurred

Update: After I wrote this article I was contacted by a Lumberton resident with a student in this class, she said this Burqa incident was part of the regular CSCOPE lesson taught to the students and not just some extra curricular activity or student led project. The students were not forced to wear the Burqas, but the Burqas were there as part of the lesson and students were encouraged to try them on. That being said, it was confirmed that everything else being reported as happening in this Lumberton class are true, including the students were taught not to call a terrorist a terrorist and instead call them freedom fighters. Also, the teacher I hear was upset that she even had to teach the lesson and told the students she did not agree with it so I am not out to bash the teacher. Clearly this lesson has been forced into the classroom by someone and it needs to be corrected. This is outrageous!

Earlier this Month (February 2013), BEFORE this Burqa lesson was ever taught, I first learned that Lumberton ISD uses CSCOPE and I wrote this article: Lumberton ISD uses Liberal CSCOPE that teaches Allah is God and Boston Tea Party was Terrorism like 9/11

Right after I wrote that article, I went to the Lumberton School Board meeting and spoke to the School Board at the beginning of the meeting. I explained to the school board the problems with CSCOPE and asked them, at least, to have a hearing about CSCOPE and whether or not it should still be used at Lumberton ISD. The school board members did seem concerned and asked the Superintendent questions about CSCOPE. The Superintendent, John Valastro, assured the Board that the CSCOPE program was not used very much and they had not run into any issues with bad lessons getting taught by teacher.

Not even a month after I was assured at the LISD School Board meeting that there were no CSCOPE lesson problems at Lumberton ISD, I get emailed this article from WND with a picture of Lumberton ISD students in Burqas with quotes from students saying they were even told by the teacher that “we are going to change your perception about Islam” and the teacher in the Burqa lesson, according to a student, also said, “I do not necessarily agree with this, but I am supposed to teach you that we are not to call these people terrorists anymore, but freedom fighters.”

The lesson teaches that Burqas are just an alternative dress style that Muslims wear when in reality, women in Muslim countries are oppressed and FORCED to wear these Burqas or face even possibly death. At the end of class, the students were assigned to write a paper about Egypt. According to one student, they were instructed to discuss “how Egypt was a good country until democracy took over, and that things were finally corrected when the Muslim brotherhood came into power.”

I believe Mr. Valastro and do not think he or the School Board deceived me. I do think they probably being deceived though. I do believe there have been bad lessons that have not been brought to his attention and I believe some teachers use, and are even forced to use, CSCOPE lessons on a regular basis instead of just minimally.  That is the problem with CSCOPE though. There is no transparency! Everything is online and there are thousands of lessons that teachers can pick to use without even having to get it approved. Some of these lessons ARE bad lessons. Even the Superintendent and the school board did not know about what was going on with CSCOPE at LISD. Hopefully, now that this Burqa incident has happened and will be on the news all across America, there will be some action taken regarding CSCOPE being taught at Lumberton ISD. Yes there are legislative fixes that should be coming this year, but until then, Lumberton ISD should really consider having a hearing or something to discuss CSCOPE being used at LISD and whether or not it should even be used anymore until the problems get fixed.

Texas Teaching 'Allah is the Almighty God' - CSCOPE Cirriculum Must be Stopped

the following article is by John Griffing posted on Texas GOP Vote:

Texas Teaching 'Allah is the Almighty God'

In the 70 percent of Texas public schools where a private curriculum has been installed, students are learning the “fact” that “Allah is the Almighty God,” charge critics of a new online curriculum that already is facing condemnation for its secrecy and restrictions on oversight.
The program, called CSCOPE, is a private venture operating under the umbrella of the Texas Education Service Center Curriculum Collaborative, whose incorporation documents state its independence from the State Board of Education of the Texas Education Agency.
Other reports previously have raised alarm over the curriculum’s depiction of the Boston Tea Party as a terrorist act on par with the 9/11 attack.
According to documentation that has leaked out, the program describes the Boston Tea Party this way: “A local militia, believed to be a terrorist organization, attacked the property of private citizens today at our nation’s busiest port. Although no one was injured in the attack, a large quantity of merchandise, considered to be valuable to its owners and loathsome to the perpetrators, was destroyed. The terrorists, dressed in disguise and apparently intoxicated, were able to escape into the night with the help of local citizens who harbor these fugitives and conceal their identities from the authorities. It is believed that the terrorist attack was a response to the policies enacted by the occupying country’s government. Even stronger policies are anticipated by the local citizens.”
There also have been reports that the curriculum – contrary to recent Supreme Court rulings – says the Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, the right to bear arms, is limited to state-run organizations.
“The collective right’s advocates believed that the Second Amendment did not apply to individuals; rather it recognized the right of a state to arm its militia. It recognized limited individual rights only when it was exercised by members of a functioning, organized militia while actively participating in the militia’s activities.”
Now come concerns about what critics describe as a definitively pro-Islam bias.
The critics say the studies border on proselytizing.
In one scenario, students are asked to study the tenets of Islam, and critics say the materials provided exceed impartial review of another faith, extending into requirements of conversion and moral imperatives.
A computer presentation utilized as part of a study of Islam includes information on how to convert, as well as verses denigrating other faiths.
According to excerpts, under the heading, “Who Is Allah?,” students are told:
“Allah is the Almighty God.”
“Allah alone is the Creator. He alone deserves our devout love and worship.”
Muhammad is described as having become “disillusioned with the corruption in the city and the growing gap between the urban dwellers and the Bedouins (nomadic herders).”
But there is no mention of his documented sex activities with a child or his penchant for beheading entire indigenous people groups.
CSCOPE’s geography curriculum also is being scrutinized.
A high school question on a geography test asks, “Which of the following has been a benefit of globalization?” Possible answers are as follows: a) pandemics, b) increased standard of living, c) loss of local culture, and finally, d) widespread environmental impacts.
The only “correct” answer accepted in the context of the test is “an increased standard of living.”
WND recently reported the Texas State Board of Education was hearing concerns expressed by parents.
The debate carries national significance because of the influence Texas has on textbook and curriculum publishers as the only state that adopts uniform standards.
CSCOPE advocates say that the volume of information to which students now have access outside the classroom necessitates the move away from textbooks.
“If they’re sitting in a classroom with a textbook, that’s not the world anymore,” said Anne Poplin, Education Service Center Region 9 executive director.
“We’re moving to Bring Your Own Devices. It’s a disadvantage (for children) not to have access to their devices. It’s not a textbook-driven environment. If it is, they’re behind,” Poplin said.
An estimated 70 percent of Texas schools already are involved in the program.
But one of the concerns is that state law requires textbooks to be reviewed by the board of education, and parents are allowed to have access, since CSCOPE is considered a private venture it operates independently of state or local school board oversight.
The state attorney general’s office has ruled that CSCOPE is a government organization subject to requirements of transparency, but because of loopholes in the Texas Public Information Act and Senate Bill 6, passed in 2011, CSCOPE has thus far been able to keep its content from public review. Even parents are denied access.
Kimberly Thomas, a teacher in the Lubbock school district, calls CSCOPE a “joke,” identifying a ninth-grade lesson that asks students
