False Stalking and Perjury Charges against David Bellow DROPPED – Texas Rangers Investigating DA Bob Wortham for Corruption and Official Oppression

False Stalking and Perjury Charges against David Bellow DROPPED – Texas Rangers Investigating DA Bob Wortham for Corruption and Official Oppression

My name is David Bellow and I have been vindicated and am telling my story of corruption in Jefferson County, Texas. I am happy to announce that the horrible, politically motivated false charges against me of Stalking and Perjury have been completely dismissed (Click for Dismissal Orders Here: Perjury, Stalking), and now the Texas Rangers have opened an official criminal investigation against Jefferson County and Corrupt District Attorney Bob Wortham for abuse of office and official oppression against me with District Attorney Robert Trapp being appointed attorney Pro Tem as Special Prosecutor (Click Here for Texas Ranger Report of Investigation obtained through an Open Records Request).

BACKGROUND
I used to be very active in the political world, standing up for what I believe is right and fighting to expose corruption. I frequently blogged and wrote articles and got involved in the political process, even being elected as a political party official. Back in 2014, my now ex-wife started leaving my one-year old son in cars in parking lots while she had an affair. I was told of the affair and of my son being left in cars and I did what any parent would do and I went to that parking lot and got my crying and hyperventilating one year old son from that abandoned car where he was left alone. I went home with my son and then tried to set up marriage counseling as a reasonable non-violent person would do. We went to what we thought was Christian Counseling at First Baptist Church Beaumont where Texas Licensed Counselor (and pastor) Larry Walker’s not so Christian advice was to suggest divorce instead of reconciliation attempts, and he even suggested a divorce lawyer on standby in the church. That is unfortunately the sad reality of many churches who are falling away from faith and family values. This is important though because it is the first instance where the State of Texas opened an investigation into what would be a long excruciating story of corruption in Jefferson County. The state began investigating the professional counselor license of Larry Walker for such things as not reporting suspected Child abuse or neglect as required by law after hearing of my son being left in cars in parking lots. During the divorce and child custody proceedings that followed, there were no accusations against me. I was a good father involved in my son’s life and I was never accused of being threating or abusive, and in fact, my ex-wife signed multiple under oath sworn statements stating that I had never committed family violence and she was only seeking a no-fault divorce. However, she didn’t want our son to have me as a father, which is similar in many custody battles in which people allow hate and bitterness for another person to rip children from loving mothers or fathers whom the children need and deserve equally, which has created the greatest societal crisis of our time with the effects of single family homes and children without fathers being well documented and catastrophic for the children involved and for society as a whole (Click here for government statistics: https://thefatherlessgeneration.wordpress.com/statistics/). I, however, intended to fight for and protect my son and be in his life as his father. In fact, I had the upper hand in the custody case as my ex-wife had admitted in sworn testimony to being violent towards me and leaving our son in cars while she had affairs. That is when her attorney (who was also the attorney for the church where the counselor was under investigation) started to pull out some tricks against me to delay justice. For instance, If you try to sanction the other side with petty complaints such as turning over discovery items a day late, then you can wear down and drag out custody litigation cause the other side to run out of money, then you win. So that is what her attorney tried to do. They even hired a “private investigator”, Marcelo Molfino.

CORRUPTION: MARCELO MOLFINO and JEFFERSON COUNTY DISTRICT ATTORNEY BOB WORTHAM

They hired Marcelo Molfino to download my cell phones and allege that not all the data was turned over so that they could try to get all evidence tossed out in the case on a technicality. My side hired our own, more reputable private digital forensics, Red Forensics, from out of town who determined that not only was the report and data from Molfino false and misleading, but it also apeared as though Marcelo Molfino was practicing as a private investigator without a license. So I blew the whistle on Marcelo Molfino with the State of Texas, and the Texas DPS determined that Marcelo Molfino was practicing without a license which is a Class A Misdemeanor. And that is where my real troubles began. You see, Marcelo Molfino was the lead Criminal Investigator for Jefferson County District Attorney Bob Wortham. Not only did I uncover the illegal activity of Marcelo Molfino in my case, I then discovered many other instances where Molfino was violating the law and using his position in the DA office to oppress people. Through Open Records Requests, I even discovered false contradicting statements on government documents, and uncovered many instances where he would get paid by people in the “private civil arena” and then turn around and try to get people charged criminally under his criminal prosecution hat against the people he was paid privately to oppose. The Texas DPS asked the Jefferson County DA if he would be filing charges against Molfino, and the DA said no. The DA decides who to protect and who to prosecute. After protecting his investigator Molfino from criminal charges that I blew the whistle on, the DA Bob Wortham then put Marcelo Molfino on a mission to personally bring false charges against me using the power of his prosecution office. Can anyone say clear conflict of interest? This was done for 2 reasons. This persecution against me was done in retaliation against me for my whistleblower complaint to silence me and discredit my complaints against Marcelo Molfino, and it was also done because, as would come out in criminal trial testimony, my ex wife, at the direction of her attorney, paid Marcelo Molfino at least $1500 cash shortly before Molfino brought false charges against me. She even went to the Jefferson County Courthouse government building to meet Marcelo Molfino as part of this “private exchange” of services, according to trial transcripts.

After nearly 2 years of a custody battle, the money ran out for me to fight and I offered my ex-wife 50/50 custody of our son, which she accepted. Her acceptance was just another trick though as her acceptance was only so she could get the custody case against her out of the way so that she could transfer the proceedings to Jefferson County to do an immediate modification custody suit to change the child custody order to try to take my son from me. She brought the case to Judge Larry Thorne, who her attorney had made a rare large donation to. Judge Larry Thorne would later be found by the State of Texas as having accepted tend of thousands of illegal contributions from attorneys and fined nearly $40,000 (Click Here to see Order against Judge Larry Thorne). Not surprisingly, the local DA Bob Wortham who holds the power to prosecute, did not prosecute judge Larry Thorne for the felony violations the state found him to have violated.

So back to the custody case, only a month after accepting the final 50/50 custody agreement order which I hoped would bring stability to my son’s life, and after years of a bitter divorce case in which she swore against any allegations of family violence from me,  my ex-wife simply then went to Jefferson County Investigator Marcelo Molfino and paid him cash money. She then filed criminal complaints alleging that, three years earlier, even before the divorce started, she felt “alarmed” when I, while we were married, went to a parking lot to get my son from an abandoned car. So she filed felony “stalking family violence” charges against me as her basis of trying to change the agreed custody order with the new Judge Larry Thorne. The DA’s office of course fast tracked a prosecution against me with Marcelo Molfino at the helm. Molfino was under investigation at the time as a result of my complaint BEFORE he brought retaliatory charges against me. Even worse, Molfino was paid cash money by my ex. Literally the prosecutors office was taking money “bribes” to prosecute, and they put Molfino directly on the case to silence me and discredit my legitimate complaints against him which were validated by the state of Texas. That wasn’t enough to silence me and I kept fighting and I kept investigating, so then Molfino personally wrote out an affidavit alleging I am a liar and charged me with felony perjury. What better way to discredit your accuser than to bring false perjury charges against him so you can just say don’t believe him he is charged with perjury. At one point the DA wanting a ONE MILLION dollar bond or NO BOND. I guess the only way to keep me from talking to the Texas State investigators was to try to put me, a non violent political adversary, in permanent confinement with bond higher than an alleged murderer.

I fought and I exposed and finally one by one the charges went away. Felony Stalking case dismissed. Felony Perjury case dismissed. I have never been convicted and have never pled guilty and never been found guilty. I have been vindicated with all criminal cases now gone away. Of course you won’t find word of my cases dismissed in the news like I was in the news when the DA’s office sent word to the news stations of my initial arrests so they could parade my mugshot though the news and all but convict me before a trial.

This story I bring to light only touches the surface of the roller coaster ride I have experienced, and barely addresses all the instances of criminal activity and corruption I uncovered involving the Jefferson County District Attorney’s office. There have been many less fortunate than me who might have pled guilty just to cut a deal to get out of the false prosecution, or maybe they were found guilty based off of fabricated evidence. I will continue to fight to protect and defend the Constitution and the rights that everyone should enjoy by fighting and exposing corruption.

The big news to top off my vindication from the false prosecution by Jefferson County, is that the Texas Rangers have officially and formally opened a criminal investigation against Jefferson County for abuse of office and official oppression against me. Yes, the Jefferson County Criminal District Attorney Bob Wortham and his office are under official criminal investigation by the Texas Rangers with a special prosecutor even having been appointed from another county.

So I am back! I got to settle down for a bit and I have a beautiful wife, Denise, son and stepson, and baby boy arriving next month! I will be writing and blogging more about politics I am passionate about and about political news, with a focus on the broken family court system that needs drastic reform to save and stabilize children and society, as well as a focus on public corruption and criminal justice which need drastic reforms to prevent innocent people from going to jail due to faulty or fabricated evidence and a lack of Constitutional protections and due process,  and due to even intentional false prosecutions that are rampant and allowed to happen.

Baseless Indictment tossed - Corrupt Jefferson County D.A. Scrambles to re-indict Whistle Blower David Bellow

The Jefferson County DA had to abandon their original indictment of David Bellow due to the indictment pending being Quashed and dismissed.

This confirms that the original charges were botched, completely baseless, and nothing but a political attack in retaliation for David Bellow being a whistle blower against Jefferson County DA employees over a year ago.

Not willing to admit that they have botched this case from the beginning, the D.A. has redone the original indictment and sent it out to the media as if it was a new charge. It is simply the old charge repackaged in order to try to patch up their completely botched and baseless charges against David Bellow.

The best is yet to come. Soon, David Bellow will be completely vindicated of this malicious prosecution, and the investigation into the Jefferson County DA by the State of Texas will be revealed with details of the illegal activity within the DA's office. Months before David Bellow was ever indicted, David had been the whistle blower into the State investigation of Jefferson County D.A. employees. The DA then retaliated against David Bellow and will have to answer for his actions.

David Bellow Running for Hardin County Judge to Stop Tax Increases and Wasteful Spending

Update: David Bellow has been endorsed by many conservative organizations and people such as Judge Paul Pressler, Pro Life Nation, American Gun Rights, Texas Home School Coalition, and many more!

Hardin County, Texas needs a new face instead of the insider tax and spend group currently in control. Hardin County needs someone who is not afraid to say no to tax increases. Hardin County needs a Strong Christian, conservative leader. This is why I, David Bellow, am running for Hardin County Judge. My opponent, Wayne McDaniel Jr., is a lifelong Democrat. He ran on the same ticket with Obama and Hillary in his most recent election. He recently switched over to Republican, along with all of the other county officials. Worst of all, in response to my campaign against tax increases, my opponent says he cannot say he will not raise taxes. The same Democrat, good old boy mentality is still here, even though everyone is Republican now.

Fact: Hardin County Raised Taxes this Year
Fact: Hardin County is spending millions of dollars more than it brings in.
Fact: Hardin County is spending money wastefully. Not everyone working for the County needs a new Chevy Tahoe (at the rate they are buying them it seems like they want everyone to have one), and the County should not be giving themselves pay raises by raising taxes on people who are not getting pay raises.
Fact: Hardin County is not financially transparent. None of their records are in digital formal for taxpayers to be able to look through the finances.

Why I am Running For County Judge: Letter to the People of Hardin County

After spending many months in deep thought and prayer, I have decided to run to be your next County Judge of Hardin County now that Judge Billy Caraway has decided to retire.

I do not want you to consider voting for me because you like my signs or because someone you know told you to vote for me. I want you to really know me. I want you to know my heart. The most important thing you can know about me is that I believe in Jesus as my Lord and Savior and I put God first in my life.

As Judge, I will serve you with unwavering conservative values that will drive me to be an advocate against wasteful spending so that we can keep taxes from going up. I want you to know that I will strive for transparency in government because the people have a right to know what is going on behind the scenes.   I am a strong defender of our Constitutional rights. I am unapologetically pro-2nd-amendment and pro-life.

Before I get into the issues facing Hardin County, let me introduce myself and my background.

My wife Courtney and I are residents of Hardin County and Lumberton.  We have one child, Michael, and next to God, my family is my number one priority in life.

My brothers and I operate a successful small business, Eden Pro Services, and the company serves customers from Lumberton to College Station and employs several people.

After graduating from Lumberton High School, I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from Texas A&M University and a Master’s Degree in Theological Studies from Liberty University.

After college, I joined the military, rose up the ranks from Private to Sergeant, and was honored as “Soldier of the Year” twice. I became a law enforcement officer because I wanted to protect the community, graduating with honors from the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center. I worked my way up to be a Senior Officer and have always looked for ways to change policy to increase efficiency and better protect my fellow officers.

I am a lifelong Republican because I have always known that the conservative values of the Republican Party were the values I believe in. Long before Obama was elected I was working to promote conservative values and help Republican candidates win. My Christian, conservative foundation gives me the passion and desire to serve you and to work with you and the other elected officials to keep Hardin County an amazing place to live, work, and raise a family.

Hardin County is facing big challenges. The County has been spending more than it brings in. From October 2011 to October 2013 the County Spent $1.98 MILLION more than it brought in. Hardin County recently approved the budget for Oct 2013 to Oct 2014. In the new budget, the County wants a tax increase and more deficit spending of $1.04 MILLION.

This deficit spending is unsustainable and must be addressed now instead of just being pushed down the road. The go-along, get-along politicians don’t understand that this is taxpayer money and deficit spending is something that goes on in Washington, but should not happen here.

I will make the tough decisions based on solid conservative principles and with the best interest of the community in mind. I will work with the leaders and residents of Hardin County to cut the budget and to find ways to increase revenue such as attracting new industry and jobs to the County.

I was previously elected to be on the board that runs the Republican Party organization for the entire State of Texas. I helped manage and govern the multi-million dollar budget for the State Party. When I got on the board, the Republican Party was facing massive debt.

While on the board, I was part of the Republican leadership that bought the Party out of debt and into a surplus. From starting a small business to helping lead the statewide party out of debt and into a surplus, I am uniquely qualified to step in and help lift Hardin County out of the current financial crisis. I will fight to keep your taxes from going up.

We have such a great future ahead of us. Hardin County does not need the same gang of free-spending courthouse crony leaders to just continue to push the problems down the road. Hardin County needs new, forward-looking leaders to take on these problems and bring new ideas based on strong conservative principles.

Hardin County is our home. I am a lifelong resident of Lumberton, TX. Even through college and military service, I stayed VERY involved in Hardin County.

When the Kountze Cheerleaders had their religious rights attacked, I got involved and stood up for the constitutional rights of these innocent students.

When Obama signed Obamacare, I filed one of the first lawsuits against Obamacare in order to stop the unconstitutional mandate form being imposed on us all.

When Lumberton ISD was trying to pass a bond that was not completely needed and would have raised taxes 24% in a recession, I stood up and fought back and defeated the tax hike. I am completely for our kids and making our schools better, but a new school on 421 would not have provided better education and would have taken too much money away from families. LISD developed a better plan after the bond failed and the schools are doing great.

Speaking of schools, I stood with the majority of teachers and parents in Lumberton and in the area who did not like or want CSCOPE curriculum. This secretive, expensive curriculum made a mockery of our values. One lesson even referred to the Boston Tea Party patriots as terrorists. I helped defeat the curriculum statewide.

Many years ago, I wanted to promote patriotism and wanted to help out the American Legion in Lumberton. I went to them with an idea to raise money and promote patriotism at the same time. The idea was to line the streets in Lumberton with full size American flags and business would donate money each year to the project and the profits would go to the American Legion. The fundraiser was a success and happens every year in Lumberton. The Legion and the Boy Scouts do a great job of lining the streets with flags!

I want a better future for my wife and son. I grew up in a large family here. I mowed yards as a kid to make money and learned the value of hard work. My parents brought me up in Christ and taught me great family values.

I felt the horrible effects and devastation of the Hurricane Rita in 2005. I, like many others, lost everything. I had to leave college to help rebuild. My job was gone and the small business I started creating positive Christian youth events was destroyed.

I was young and bankrupt. I did not give up though. Falling to the bottom gave me the best lesson I have ever had. It made me strive to be better and smarter. It made me strive to be more fiscally conservative. I rose up and finished college and started a business. I served in the military and law enforcement and was an EMT. I got more involved in helping others because I know how it feels to not have anything. I decided to live a life of service to others. I especially want to make sure that the government starts being more fiscally conservative, does not overspend, and stops raising taxes on the already overtaxed people who might be struggling like I once did after Hurricane Rita.

Will you to support me for Hardin County Judge in the March 4th Election? Please contact me with any issues, questions or comments at www.BellowForJudge.com

After posting this article, one of the County Commissioners contacted me today and said that Hardin County was making good financial decisions because they cleared their audit. BISD passed their audit. Does that mean Beaumont ISD's finances are good? NO. They have had multiple people stealing millions of dollars and have made very liberal tax and spend decisions. Passing an audit just means that no one is stealing money and the county has paid the bills (based on the records provided to the auditor). Passing an audit does NOT mean that fiscally conservative decisions are being made. Passing an audit does not mean that it was wise to spent a million on a dome that looks pretty and you vote in. Passing an audit does not mean that raising taxes on people is good. The commissioner also told me that the county was transparent because they posted the budget and audit online. That is not transparent. Those two things show very little. They just show the overall numbers but no one can really look into the breakdown of the finances. I can go to Lumberton ISD or the City of Lumberton and get a cd with all the daily financial transactions. Hardin County does not offer that level of transparency.  If you wanted to see all the financial transactions for the county you would have to pay the county to print out thousands of pages.

Lumberton, TX Resident had Rifle Confiscated after LEGALLY Open Carrying in Beaumont

A Lumberton Texas man, Derek Poe, was walking to his Golden Triangle Tactical gun shop in Parkdale Mall in Beaumont, TX. He was legally open carrying his AR-15 rifle across his back with the barrel facing down. He had done this many times before.

On December 28th, 2013, the Beaumont Police confiscated Poe’s rifle and told him that he would have charges pressed against him for disorderly conduct (see video of incident below)

This incident with Lumberton Resident Derek Poe hits close to home because I am a fellow Lumberton resident and I am running for Hardin County Judge.

If this incident were to have happened a few miles over into Hardin County, the misdemeanor charge would be heard by the Hardin County Judge. I am a strong supporter of the 2nd Amendment. If I become elected as the next Hardin County Judge, I, David Bellow, would ensure that laws are being followed properly while at the same time not infringing anyone's second amendment rights.

According to the Beaumont Enterprise, there is an open carry gun rights rally planned for Jan 18th in Beaumont.

Let me make one thing very clear. Open carrying a rifle in a non-threatening manner in Texas is LEGAL. Just the simple fact that someone sees the rifle and gets scared is NOT legal grounds to charge someone with carrying the open rifle in a threatening manner. Open carrying of rifles is legal and cannot be considered disorderly conduct unless the rifle was being carried in a threatening manner. Open carry means people can see the rifle. I do not know of any less threatening of a way to open carry a rifle other than slung behind your back with the barrel down. That is the way Derek Poe was carrying his rifle.

I have written many articles about this issue. Unfortunately, many of the articles involve Texas officials taking away rifles and charging people for doing nothing more than legally open carrying a rifle. You would think that of all places, Texas would be more gun friendly. Open carrying a rifle might not be normal, but it is not illegal. The liberal media has pounded their anti-gun agenda so much that people are frightened by even the sight of a gun. The solution is not to charge the person legally carrying the gun. The solution is to educate American citizens that carrying a gun is legal. We need to educate so that they know gun control measures will only keep guns from law abiding citizens and will not stop mass murderers from going to a mall and shooting people. The only thing that will stop a mass murderer from killing people in a mall is if a law abiding citizen in the mall has a gun and shoots back to stop the mass murderer.

I do not fault anyone for seeing the gun and being scared, and I do not fault the police for questioning Mr. Poe. There was no legal grounds to charge him though and he should have never had his gun confiscated.

The courts and the laws have clearly established that the simple sight of a rifle does not constitute alarm. It is the way the rifle is carried. If the simple sight of a weapon was the basis of not allowing weapons then your neighbor could call the police to take away your guns because she saw you with one though your window and she was alarmed. The fact that someone was alarmed cannot be the legal reason to say someone was using their rifle to alarm or threaten. I admit, I would even be a bit surprised if I saw someone with a rifle on their back in the mall because it is not something you see very often, just because I am surprised does not make what the man is doing illegal though and the laws and Constitution of the County and State must be upheld

I take threats and gun violence seriously, but I also take the 2nd Amendment seriously. Mr. Poe has a Constitutional right to bear arms and there is no evidence that what he did was illegal or threatening. He should have never had his rifle confiscated and should have never been charged.

Congressman Stockman Investigating ATF use of IRS & Perjury to Target Kountze, TX Pastor

An ATF agent, Tom Harm, is being investigated for allegedly using the IRS to target a Kountze, TX pastor, Tony Thornton. Harm, a former IRS agent, was caught on a recording telling Mr. Thornton that he is going to snoop around in the pastor’s finances and taxes. Next thing you know, Mr. Thornton’s personal, business and ministry tax returns were all three hit with audits at the same time. Where did at least one of the audits come from? None other than that corrupt Cincinnati, Ohio IRS office that is now famous for targeting conservative groups. The audits all came back clear, but the point is that if it is true that Mr. Thornton was targeted by the IRS via this ATF agent, and the evidence suggests that it is, then this is a HUGE problem. It is illegal and must be stopped.

This is not just about a local pastor and an ATF agent. This is about the ATF having the ability to get the IRS to target anyone they want with an audit. This is one of the big reasons that Congressman Steve Stockman’s office has started an investigation. Regardless of what you think about the pastor, if the ATF agent can target this pastor then who else has he and will he target using the IRS? Who knows, maybe I will be targeted next because the ATF agent does not like this article I wrote?

At the end of this article you can see a copy of the letter that Congressman Stockman sent to the U.S. Attorney’s Beaumont office regarding the possible problems with the ATF and IRS in this case. The previous U.S. Attorney in Beaumont before this current one could not get any indictments against Thornton because the proof was not there to back any case against Thornton. Now with evidence of wrongdoing by the ATF agent and the IRS, the current U.S. Attorney in Beaumont might just have to drop the case. They have already pushed the case back several years.

The Kountze, TX Church Fire – Accusation of a Rouge ATF agent lying, committing perjury, spreading rumors, etc.

In addition to using the IRS to target people, there is also evidence that this ATF agent committed perjury to the Grand Jury in order to get an indictment, spread false rumors, and used his position to oppress members of the East Texas community of Kountze. Heck, the ATF agent even was asked if the interviews with Kountze community members were being recorded and the Agent said no, but then a court ordered the agency to turn over all the evidence and sure enough the meetings with community members were being recorded and the ATF agent is heard in his own recording telling Kountze community members that they were not being recorded.

Again, regardless of what you think happened or did not happen in Kountze, TX, it is wrong for any government agency to act above the law and violate the rights of people. If they do it to this pastor then they can do it to you.

I love the community of Kountze and I loved the church community at First Baptist. It was tragic what happened and I want the truth to come out too. That being said, the community should not have their rights trampled on by the government using unlawful tactics.

Here is how it all started. Several years ago, the First Baptist Church in Kountze, TX burned to the ground.
The ATF comes in to try to find out what happened. They go around town spreading rumors and intimidating people by telling them things like “they are not allowed to tell anyone they were talked to and if they do then the ATF will know.” The intimidation was not getting them anywhere so they then start spreading false rumors such as saying that the Pastor was having an affair with his secretary. A local county official asked the ATF agents why they were saying these blatantly false things and the ATF agent replied and said that they were starting the rumors to stir the community and see if someone comes forward with something true. This of course is outrageous. I respect the ATF’s job of trying to find out how the church burned down, but the government cannot intentionally spread false rumors and intimidate people like this. I suppose it is not all that surprising that the ATF did this considering the ATF allowed thousands of weapons to be sold to Mexican Drug Cartels, and one of the weapons was used to kill a border patrol agent Brian Terry.

Pastor Thornton was the President of the Hardin County Disaster Relief Fund. There was some controversy surrounding this non-profit disaster relief group. Philip Klein of the Southeast Texas Political Review came up with the idea that this group’s secret documents were stored in the church office and so the Pastor must have burned the church to burn the non-profit’s documents. I am currently supporting and writing about Klein’s employee Stephen Hartman who was illegally arrested trying to serve lawsuit papers to corrupt Jefferson County Judge Layne Walker. I cannot support Klein’s belief that the church was burned down because of documents in the church office. How can I be sure? I know there were no documents in the church office because I used to go to First Baptist Church and I worked with the youth group and was in and around every part of the church office. There were no secret rooms with documents.

The ATF of course found NO EVIDENCE at all that any documents were stored in the church. They have found NO EVIDENCE that Pastor Thornton was at all involved in the church burning. They have not even provided any reason why they believe the church burning was even arson. No one has been indicted or charged in connection with the church burning.

The ATF agent did not want to walk away from the investigation empty handed though, so he started looking at the Hardin County Disaster Relief Fund. Sure there were some problems with the fund, but it had nothing to do with the fire. One of the contractors sending invoices to the fund for repairs to hurricane damaged homes was discovered to have sent some invoices in even though no work was done. When Pastor Thornton and the group’s board found out, they took action and put a lien against the construction company to recoup the funds. The Disaster Relief fund no question should have done a better job of making sure the work that was supposed to be done was getting done. Out of hundreds of homes though, most of the money in the fund went to actually help the hurricane victims who needed help. There were even a few who lied on their application to get disaster funds and said they had no money even though they made nearly 100,000 bucks a year. Unfortunately, that happens in all areas of government and it should be cracked down on everywhere, not just in regards to this disaster fund.

Then there was the allegation that it was illegal for some of the materials that the fund purchased had come from Pastor Thornton’s lumber company. This turned out to be a non-issue because Pastor Thornton had denied anyone being able to buy lumber from his yard with Disaster fund money unless the board and State of Texas approved it. The State of Texas sent Pastor Thornton a letter stating that it would not be a conflict of interest and the Board approved it. Even then, materials with the Disaster group’s money were purchased from several different lumber yards, with Pastor Thornton being only one of the many places where materials were purchased.  The ATF agent saw this letter from the State and he said that he does not care if the State of Texas said there was no conflict of interest because he is the Federal Government and can trump the State.

Then lastly, there was one true mistake that Pastor Thornton made. Pastor Thornton’s wife was dying and it was expensive. Thornton made the bad decision to take some money out of the disaster fund to pay for his wife’s medical bills. He paid back the money with interest before anyone found out and then he admitted and apologized to the disaster fund board for what he had done even though they would have never had caught him. This was all before any investigations happened. I am not defending these actions. There is no question that this was not the right thing and a big mistake and it would have been stealing had it not been for him paying it back, regardless of the reason Pastor Thornton had to take the money. With the money paid back and the board taking the matter into their own hands and handling it internally, there was no evidence to prosecute for stealing money because, before any investigation, the money was put back.

I am not writing this article to try to say that Tony Thornton did not make mistakes and should not have to answer for his actions to the extent of what is true based on evidence, not rumors and lies. I am not writing this article to say that the church fire was not arson. I am not writing this article because I want to cover up the truth. I do want to know who burned down the church I loved and used to attend. I do want the community of Kountze to heal. I want to make sure government agencies and organizations using government funds are transparent and cut out waste and fraud. That being said, it is wrong for the government to target anyone they want using IRS audits and spreading rumors as part of an investigation technique. It is especially wrong for an agent to lie in order to secure a grand jury indictment. Just provide the facts and evidence and let the Grand Jury decide. Furthermore, as a former member of the church, it is just plain ridiculous to say that the church stored the paperwork and computers of the disaster relief fund. That I do know for a fact.

I applaud Congressman Stockman for standing by his constituents in Hardin County and opening an investigation into the actions of the ATF and IRS handling of this situation. Again, not matter what you might think about the situation and who might have done what, it is wrong for the government to abuse their power because if they do it to one person they can and will do it to others.

Sidewalk to Nowhere - Lumberton TX Council Illegally Targeting Businessman, Killing Tax Revenue

Investigation article by David Bellow

A city can only enforce the laws, regulations and ordinances of the city right? Not according to the Lumberton, TX City Council. Corruption in East Texas runs deep. The City of Lumberton, in Hardin County, has a record of getting into trouble for doing the wrong things, and they are about to get into trouble yet again. Don’t get me wrong, there are a couple of good council members who speak up in meetings, but they are overruled by the majority of the board. The majority on the board, led by Andy Kelley and Don Burnett, does some crazy things. See end of article for a list of recent abuses by the city including losing a million dollar lawsuit because the city stole a man’s land.

Lumberton City Council’s “Sidewalk to Nowhere” Illegally Kills Business Center that will bring Jobs and Tax Revenue

The latest crazy thing the Lumberton City Council is trying to do is kill a planned business center in Lumberton by not allowing the business center to be built unless there is a sidewalk to nowhere included in the plan. The sidewalk would literally go nowhere and not connect to ANYTHING and would NEVER be used. Yep, the city is killing a multimillion dollar project that will bring in good businesses, jobs, and tax revenue to the city. They are killing the project over a sidewalk that is NOT required by law or ordinance to be built. The city has no authority to kill this project and in the end the city will lose, again, and the residents of Lumberton will have to foot the bill. This abuse of authority reminds me of the EPA not having a legal reason to stop oil drilling in Texas so they create new endangered animals to stop oil drilling in Texas. Why the hostility from the city? I don’t know, but I do know that David Gracedel supported an outsider candidate in a recent city council election. The councilman that Gracedel did not support in the election was quick to be the first councilman to make a motion to reject a variance for Gracedel.

I first heard about this issue in an article written by Kevin King in The Examiner. The city defended itself by saying businesses in the city are required to build sidewalks.  The city’s story sounded strange because the city has never required ANYONE to build a sidewalk in Lumberton so I wondered why the city was trying to force businessman David Gracedel to build one, and I wondered if the City even had the authority to force him to build one. I wanted to know more so I did a little research and I read the entire code of ordinances for the City of Lumberton. Well, it turns out that the city rules and regulations do NOT require Mr. David Gracedel to build sidewalks. Furthermore, this sidewalk would be a sidewalk connecting to nowhere because there are not sidewalks in front of most businesses in the city. Even more troubling is the city seems to be singling out Mr. Gracedel because the city has never tried to force any business, even recent ones, to build a sidewalk.

This situation is almost a repeat of when the city approved a subdivision a few years back for Mike Hawkins. The city then they tried to come back and force the man to build another road in the subdivision. The developer got a lawyer and the city was slapped down because, well, the city cannot approve a design and then come back and try to change the design

Here are the facts about the illegal Sidewalk to Nowhere in Lumberton

·         David Gracedel applied for a commercial construction building permit to build a business center on 4 acres of land that he owns on Hwy 69 in Lumberton.
·         Gracedel’s plat and building design was submitted to the city. It was drawn by professional engineers and architects, it was in full compliance with city building regulations, it had handicap parking and sidewalks to the entrances of the business center, and the design was ADA APPROVED (Americans with Disabilities Act).
·         The city had 30 days to approve or deny the plat, otherwise the plat would be automatically approved. The city did NOT send Mr. Gracedel an approval or denial within 30 days so the plat was approved by default.
·         Well after 30 days had pased, after the plat was already automatically approved, the city contacted Gracedel and told him that the plat would not be approved because it did not include a sidewalk along Hwy 69 in front of the parking lot.
·         Gracedel pointed out that the design was in compliance with ALL city ordinances and also in compliance with all disability laws. The city cannot make you do something unless they have passed an ordinance requiring it.
·         The city countered and told Gracedel that the city was forcing him to build sidewalks under the subdivision ordinance.
·         Gracedel pointed out that the subdivision ordinance does not apply to him because he is not applying to build a subdivision nor is he applying to subdivide his property. He is only applying for a commercial construction building permit.
·         The city countered by saying that at one time the land was subdivided.
·         Gracedel pointed out that his land was subdivided over a decade ago before the subdivision ordinance was even on the books, and furthermore, the subdivision regulations only apply to someone who is applying for a new subdivision after the subdivision ordinance was passed.
·         Gracedel also pointed out that the subdivision ordinance has been on the books for several years but all the recent construction projects that the city has approved did not require sidewalks and his business was the ONLY one that the city was trying to force to build a sidewalk. Heck, the city did not even require the Lumberton school to build a sidewalk along Hwy 69 when the school just did a major construction project along Hwy 69 this year. Furthermore, his business is not near any other businesses or sidewalks. Even if he did build a sidewalk it would not connect to anything because it would dead end at a sewer lift station to the right of his property and it would dead end well before it reaches a private road to the left of his property.
·         The city said too bad, we want you to build a sidewalk. The city went further and said that even if the ordinance is not clear that sidewalks are required, the city council plans to make a new ordinance requiring sidewalks so Gracedel is forced to build a sidewalk now even before there is an ordinance requiring him to do so.

Does the City even Read their own Ordinances? Sidewalks NOT required!

First of all, Gracedel’s plat was already approved by default so the city cannot force him to change it and they cannot deny the permit. Second, I took a look at the code of ordinances for the city of Lumberton and I wonder if the members of the Lumberton City Council have ever read their own code of ordinances. It is clear that Mr. Gracedel does NOT have to build a sidewalk. The only mention in the ordinances of someone having to build a sidewalk is in the subdivision application rules, and the subdivision application rules do not apply to Gracedel.

But wait, there is more! Even if the city inaccurately tries to impose the subdivision ordinance on him, the subdivision ordinance is clear that sidewalks are ONLY required if the person applying for a subdivision is going to build a NEW road. In other words, according to the subdivision rules, only if Gracedel is building a NEW ROAD in a subdivision is he required to build a sidewalk with curbs along the new road. Mr. Gracedel’s business center will not have any new roads as customers will enter the parking lot directly from the Highway.

The City of Lumberton has been getting into lots of Trouble over Abuses of Power

Sometimes I wonder if the City Council in Lumberton, TX believes that they are above the law. They sure act like it. It seems like yesterday that I broke a story about the city losing a million dollar lawsuit after they stole a man’s land and tried to give the man nothing even close to what the land was worth. They thought they were above the law and could do what they wanted but the man had money to hire a lawyer and the city lost. They actually were able to keep the lawsuit a secret from the residents of Lumberton until I found out about it. Or how about the fact that the city council knowingly hired a man to be the city attorney and prosecutor even though the city prosecutor owed $40,000 for not paying local property taxes in over a decade. Yep, the city prosecutor would prosecute people who violate city laws even though the prosecutor himself was violating law and not paying his taxes. I broke that story as well and the city finally fired the attorney after the public found out. Even more recently, Councilmen Don Burnett and Andy Kelley saw the Political Action Committee they belong to fined by the Texas Ethics Commission after the committee illegally got a $25,000 donation from Walmart. These city councilmen then turned around and gave Walmart a variance that Walmart had wanted.

The City Gives Variances to Businesses like passing out candy in order get more Tax Revenue, so Why Kill this Multi-Million Dollar Business Center?

I just do not get it. The city of Lumberton has an ordinance that does not allow alcohol to be sold within 300 feet of a school or daycare. The city has recently allowed businesses to break the city rules and sell alcohol within 300 feet of schools and daycares. Why? Because the city says we need the tax revenue. What I do not understand is why the city is killing Gracedel’s good business project that will bring jobs and money to the city, but the same city is willing to allow other businesses to break the rules and sell alcohol by a school because the city says it will bring in more money for the city. It just does not make sense and it reeks of corruption, political games, and the good old boy system.

Texas D.A. Killed by Former Texas Judge? Kaufman County JP Arrested

Not much information has been put out, but it has been released that a former Kaufman County Justice of the Peace, Eric Williams, has been arrested and held on 1 million dollar bail for making terroristic threats, and this is in connection with the recent murders of the Kaufman County District and Assistant District Attorney.

The Kaufman County District Attorney had prosecuted the Justice of the Peace for theft and this caused the JP to lose his position.

In Texas politics there is alot of corruption, especially in East Texas. Things can even get dangerous. It was not that long ago, right here in Hardin County, the Justice of the Peace Butch Cummings threatened his opponent and illegally forced him to drop out of the election so that the JP would keep his job. This Justice of the Peace even threatened me with bodily injury and it was caught on recording. He did not get into any trouble of course. Good old boy East Texas political corruption. You see, these old politicians see it as their position that they are entitled to have forever once they get in. They do not see it as the people's office. They get offended if you even run against them. It can even get violent.

here are some related east Texas political corruption stories:

In a dramatic development during Williams' corruption trial, Kaufman County Judge Bruce Wood testified that the former justice of the peace had asked him in a letter to use his influence to call off the criminal investigation against him. Wood declined.
The Post quoted Hasse as saying, "The Defendant did not ask Judge Wood to investigate to help clear this up because he is innocent. In the letter he accepts responsibility. He says I’ve done something wrong, and I’ve learned my lesson, hoping for some kind of back-door favor. He is an elected public servant and he is a thief and a liar. We ask you to find him guilty.”
During the sentencing phase of the trial, prosecutor Hasse revealed that Williams threatened to kill an ex-girlfriend in Huntsville "involving the display of a handgun," according to court records. He also threatened the life of a Kaufman attorney and his family in 2010, according to prosecutor's records.
Williams is appealing his convictions.

KAUFMAN, Texas - Kaufman County records show that former Justice of the Peace Eric Williams has been arrested.

Authorities searched Williams' home on Friday afternoon and into the night in connection with their investigation of the Kaufman County prosecutor murders.

Williams, 46, was booked into the Kaufman County Jail at 12:32 a.m. Saturday and charged with making a "terroristic threat." Bond was set at $1 million.

The district attorney's office prosecuted and convicted Williams last year for theft. He lost his justice of the peace position as a result.

Investigators spent hours at Williams' home and that of his in-laws on Friday. The two families live on the same street in Kaufman.

They removed boxes, computers and guns.

It's now been two weeks since investigators found the bodies of Kaufman County District Attorney Mike McLelland and his wife in their home near Forney. Prosecutor Mark Hasse was shot and killed on his way to the courthouse on January 31.

Eric Williams has links to both McLelland and Hasse but has not been charged in connection with their deaths.

Child Porn Investigation against Hardin County Sheriff's Deputy, Lumberton, TX Resident Jerry Roberts

From the Beaumont Entrprise:

A Hardin County man's trial was dismissed on Wednesday because the lead investigator in the case is the target of a federal investigation, said District Attorney David Sheffield.
Sheffield said Toby Langham's sexual misconduct case had to be dismissed because Sheffield learned that Hardin County Sheriff's Office Sgt. Jerry Roberts, the lead investigator in Langham's case, was being investigated for child pornography allegations.
Sheffield said the defense would have used that information during the trial to hurt the prosecution's case.
Last year, Langham was indicted on charges of sexual assault of a child, indecency by exposure, and sexual performance of a child.
Sheffield said his office will review the charges against Langham and see what can be brought back to a grand jury for possible re-indictment.

Texas Prepares for Sovereignty if U.S. Defaults - Rep. James White Files Texas Self Sufficiency Act HB 568

State Rep. James White has proposed a bill that will require the leaders of Texas to start crunching the numbers and figure out what Texas would look like if it had to be self sufficient... limited or no federal support.... OUR OWN COUNTRY.... oops, I am getting a little ahead of myself, haha. Hey, I didn't say Texas secession but that certainly comes to mind when thinking about the Federal Government having a financial meltdown and cutting off most or all support to the States...

What would Texas do in the event that the United States of America defaulted? It is a very real possibility that one day the massive U.S. debt will become so large and unsustainable that is causes a financial meltdown. Texas, and pretty much everyone else, would all of the sudden be faced with no more federal funds (which is really just Texas tax dollars given to the feds which is then given back to Texas). Yes, Texas is already a sovereign state, but what would we do if face with complete sovereignty and no federal money?

What would Texas do? That is actually a GREAT question. It is something you might not have really thought of before because, well, government is mostly reactive and not pro-active so they wait until something is a problem and then they try to deal with it.

State Representative James White is thinking ahead. He does not want to have to wait until Texas gets cut off from the federal government to determine how Texas will manage on our own. White wants to start planning now.

Bottom line, this is a great bill and it is really thinking ahead. With the way America is going, it is a very real possibility that federal funds to Texas could be drastically limited or even cut off completely in the event of a financial collapse. Texas needs to be ready and know what to expect.

Press Release from Texas State Representative James White:

State Representative James White Files HB 568:
The Texas Self Sufficiency Act

AUSTIN, TEXAS-- State Representative James White has filed HB 568 or the Texas Self-Sufficiency Act. The Texas Self-Sufficiency Act creates a select committee to evaluate the effects of a possible reduction in or elimination of federal funding on the state budget due to federal fiscal policy. "Due to the fiscal dysfunction of Washington, D.C., and the fact that more than a third of our state's budget revenue comes from the federal government, Texas needs to study what it would mean if the Federal Government couldn't meet its obligations," stated Representative White.

The Texas Self-Sufficiency Act directs the Governor, Lieutenant Governor, the Speaker of the Texas House, and the Comptroller to name a committee of made up of legislators, budget experts and citizens from the non-profit sector to analyze not only our state's dependence on federal funds, but the impact of federal funding on Texas' economy. "Speaker Straus should be commended for naming a House interim committee on sequestration. However, we must expand on this work. My district in South East Texas, for example, has a higher proportion of seniors compared to the state overall percentage. What would happen in the event the Federal Government eliminated the funds normally allocated to them? In the current economic climate, exacerbated by out of control spending in Washington, Texas needs to study possible responses to Federal financial turmoil, and our readiness to adjust to such an event. Texans must govern Texas and Texans need to be concerned about Texas."

Representative White is the Member of the Texas House of Representatives for District 19, composed of Polk, Tyler, Jasper, Newton, and Hardin counties.

Ex Rep. Mike Hamilton Backdoor Deal to be Appointed Commissioner? Hardin County, Lumberton, TX

Former State Rep Mike "Tuffy" Hamilton Backdoor Deal with Hardin County Judge?

(It was correctly pointed out to me that Mike Hamilton is not technically a former State Rep yet until after the November election when it becomes official so I wanted to make sure I let everyone know that my original article that said former state rep should really have said soon to be former state rep)

Multiple independent sources have informed me that Bobby Franklin, the Precinct 4 Hardin County Commissioner serving over Lumberton, TX, is planning to step down soon so that former State Representative Mike "Tuffy" Hamilton can be given the job. The Commissioner’s position will give Hamilton a political platform and a guaranteed source of income to set Hamilton up to run (again) against James White for State Rep in two years. The Hardin County Judge, Billy Caraway, is the person who would appoint someone to a vacant County Commissioner's seat. Billy Caraway and Mike Hamilton just so happen to be best buddies.

Mike Hamilton (a former Committee Chairman for RINO Joe Straus) recently lost his State Representative re-election after Hamilton moved to Hardin County earlier this year to run against Super Conservative, Black Republican State Rep. James White as part of a plan to hurt Republicans in redistricting who voted against Straus for Speaker. Hardin County is the most one of the most populated counties (most Republicans for sure) in House District 19 and Hamilton is very good friends with many of the leaders in Hardin County. Hamilton assumed that the support from Hardin County Politicians would help him win Hardin County with enough votes to win the State Rep. election even if he did not win any of the other less populated counties in the district.

Hamilton was wrong about the support he had and he lost the election to the Conservative Tea Party favorite James White. Hamilton's campaign had been plagued with information coming out about some of Hamilton's not so conservative votes (like voting with Trial Lawyers and trying to bring Casino Gambling to Texas for Chairman Straus), and also information about Mike Hamilton's ethic's problems (like alleged sexual harassment, ethics violation fines and tax liens.

During the election, James White was endorsed by all top conservatives and conservative organizations, but most of the elected officials in Hardin County put politics over principle and got together to hold a press conference where they endorsed Hamilton. They wanted him to beat James White and they were not happy when Hamilton lost. I am certainly not speaking about all county leaders in Hardin County because some of them are good people who are not involved in this, but it appears that at least some of the leaders in Hardin County are desiring to get around a vote of the people that is normally required for elected positions and reward their friend Mike Hamilton with an extra income and good political position as an appointed County Commissioner.

It was not even a year ago that Mike Hamilton did not even live in Lumberton or Hardin County and yet he is to be given the position of a Hardin County Commissioner? He probably isn’t even eligible yet to even run for Hardin County Commissioner because of the time living in Lumberton that is required to run. How about an actual resident of Hardin County and Lumberton who is deserving of the temporary position getting picked to fill in until a special election? (And no I am not talking about me) Or how about Bobby Franklin finishing out his 4 year term? He just ran 2 years ago for re-election and told the people that he could and wanted to do another 4 year term, and it would be a disservice to the political process if he stepped down before the next election just so someone else could be put in without having to get elected. He could at least have the decency to step down now so that there is enough time for a special election this November instead of waiting to step down when it is too late to have a special election.

East Texas Corrupt Politics

What happens in East Texas when one of the people of the group in power is getting too old to keep doing the job but they don't want an open election because the group that has been in power for decades wants to keep the power? They get him/her to retire before the term is up so that there is not an election and instead one of their buddies gets appointed who then has the advantage in the upcoming election to fill the seat. Don’t get me wrong, sometimes appointing someone to fill a vacancy is necessary, cannot be avoided, or is not done as a dirty backdoor deal. This situation is not one of those exemptions. In this case, an early retirement serves two purposes. It keeps control of the power within their group of friends, and it also rewards their friend who they want to prop up until he can run for State Rep. again (or maybe it is possible that Hamilton wants to just try to stay Commissioner).

Hopefully this article will generate enough bad publicity to stop this dirty backdoor deal from happening...

I am not holding my breath though. This is the same group of good old boy county politicians who rigged the Justice of the Peace election when Judge Butch Cummings illegally coercing the new candidate to drop out or get fired from his job. This is also the same group of county good old boys who could only narrowly beat me when I ran for County Commissioner against the machine by telling people that I was a bad soldier even though I was the back to back soldier of the year for my Battalion. I did not expect to win. I was only 25 and ran because no one would ever run against these old Democrats, so I did. They had to play dirty to beat me though and I still nearly beat the good old boys and ended up going on to bigger and better things, like fighting bad politicians on a statewide level instead of just sticking with local issues. The good old boys have seen that they are becoming weak and they cannot afford to lose any more of their friends. If the decide not to give Mike Hamilton the job, the other name I have heard as a second choice would be Constable Wayne McDaniel. This would be just as shady of a pick because the constable just retired and the county appointed his replacement before an election for constable (Wayne McDaniel was also appointed when he first became constable a decade ago). Why can't people just finish their term so that there is a fair election to replace them when they do not run again? Does anyone new get elected anymore or does everyone just retire and appoint one of their friends to take the place? My word.... (Wayne McDaniel has responded that he thought about being commissioner but has decided not to because he wants to run for Sheriff when Ed Cain retires)

I sure do hope that Bobby Franklin and Hardin County do the right thing. This good old boy, East Texas, backdoor political network has to be broken. Hopefully people will continue to open their eyes in Hardin County and East Texas.

EXPOSED: Rep. Ritter Bribes Rep. Hamilton? Straus Chairmen give $100,000 to Defeat Rep. White Super Conservative

Texas State Representative Mike Hamilton's 8th day before election Campaign Finance Reports show that State Rep. Allan Ritter have given State Rep. Mike Hamilton at least $10,000. Click Here to see Mike Hamilton's Finance Report

After Redistricting, State Rep Mike Hamilton and State Rep Allan Ritter (both are moderate Straus Chairmen) were put in the same district together.

Mike Hamilton packed up and moved to Hardin County after redistricting but right before the election to run against Super Conservative State Rep. James White (White voted against Straus).

The question is, did Rep. Ritter bribe or pay off Mike Hamilton to get him to move to Hardin County so that Ritter and Hamilton do not have to face each other, and so that their leader Joe Straus would be happy because James White would have an opponent?

Straus is Behind Master Plan to Defeat Conservatives who Voted Against Him

Joe Straus has made good on his threat to hurt anyone on redistricting who voted against Straus. Most of the super conservatives in the Texas House of Representatives were hurt in redistricting. Especially in east Texas. Joe Straus had to tread lightly in redistricting with James White though because the DOJ and Republicans might have gotten suspicious if Straus would have redrawn James Whites district to hurt him or pair him (White is one of only 2 black republican State Reps and it a super conservative who got stellar conservative rankings from all conservative scorecards)

Because Straus did not want to openly attack a black, super conservative Republican, he devised a plan to secretly pair James White with one of his Chairman.

After redistricting, James White appeared to have his own district. He did not get paired with any other Republicans. Not so fast! Rep. Hamilton, a Straus Chairman, was going to have to face another Straus Chairman Rep. Ritter. Instead, Hamilton moved to Hardin County to run against White.

Are you telling me that Straus paired two of his Chairmen in redistricting, Ritter and Hamilton? Are you telling me that Straus did not know that Hamilton was going to move to Lumberton, TX to run against White? OF COURSE STRAUS KNEW! That was the Straus Plan. The plan was to pair two of his Chairmen together knowing full well that one of those chairmen was going to move to Hardin County to run against White. This plan allowed Straus to say he did not hurt Black State Rep. White in redistricting when in fact he actually did hurt White because he knew that his Chairman Hamilton was going to be moving to Hardin County which is in James White's new district.

Straus Chairmen funnel over $100,000 to Mike Hamilton's campaign to beat Conservative State Rep. James White

In the latest Campaign Finance Report, it was also discovered that many of the Chairmen for Straus have given over $100,000 to Hamilton's campaign. One of these Straus Chairmen contributing money to defeat James White is Rep. Larry Phillips. Rep. Phillips, you might remember, was the State Rep. accused of calling conservative State Reps. and telling them that they will be hurt in redistricting if they vote against Straus. White voted against Straus. See how everything fits together? It is all part of the plan....

Other Chairmen for Straus are also funneling money to fellow Chairman Hamilton in order to beat James White. Another of these Chairmen is Charlie Geren. Rep. Geren even gave $50,000 to Hamilton in just ONE check out of the many donations and loans that Hamilton has received from fellow Straus Lieutenants.

James White vs. Mike "Tuffy" Hamilton election is also about Casinos and Expanded Gambling

Straus has a HUGE personal financial interest in casinos and expanded gambling in Texas because of the racetracks that his family owns. Straus wants Casinos and expanded gambling so that he can make some extra money at the expense of gamblers who can't pay for food for the family because they have an addiction to gambling. One of his racetracks was even bought by a Las Vegas casino that has bet on cashing in once Straus gets the Texas Legislature to pass a casino and expanded gambling bill. The key to passing this bill is Straus Chairman Mike Hamilton.

State Rep. Mike Hamilton is chair of the licensing and regulations committee. This is the committee that a gambling bill would come out of. Of, what do you know, last session Hamilton WROTE a gambling/casino bill and did everything he could to try to pass it. He could not get enough votes so he killed the bill until next year.

Joe Straus NEEDS Hamilton to win to keep the hope alive of passing a Casino and Expanded Gambling bill.

Corrupt Murphy Turner Political Consultant Funded by Straus and working for Hamilton - Restraining Order Against Murphy Turner for Lies and Deception

Isn't it just coincidental that the Joe Straus supported Political Consultants are being used all across Texas in campaigns that attack and are trying to oust conservative Republicans?

Murphy Turner is so corrupt and deceptive in their campaigning that they even have had a restraining order issued against them. Apparently, Murphy Turner is trying to help their liberal and moderate candidates by starting a fake organization called "Texans for Fiscal Accountability." This fake organization has endorsed the bad candidates in an attempt to try to trick people into thinking that the real, legitimate "Texans for Fiscal Responsibility/Empower Texans" has endorsed these bad candidates when in fact "Texans for Fiscal Responsibility" actually opposes these bad guys. This deception caused a judge to issue a restraining order against Murphy Turner.

Murphy Turner is also sending out lies and deceptive material against James White. For instance, only flyer from Mike Hamilton says that Rep. James White was rated the second most liberal when in fact, James White is one of the TOP conservative Republicans in all of the legislature. All of the conservative organizations and even the liberal media acknowledge James White as a top conservative and NOT even close to being liberal.
