We already know that they do not do mammograms, and now we know they are not even doing many other women's services with our record number of tax dollars given to them. So what do they do? In its latest annual report for fiscal year 2011 to 2012, Planned Parenthood reveals that it performed 333,964 abortions in 2011 – a record year for the organization.
According to annual reports, the organization performed 332,278 abortions in 2009, 329,445 in 2010, making the total number of abortions in three years to 995,687.
Planned Parenthood reported receiving a record $542 million in taxpayer funding, according to a Susan B. Anthony List analysis of the report, in the form of government grants, contracts, and Medicaid reimbursements. The amount is 45 percent of Planned Parenthood’s annual revenue.
“While government subsidies to Planned Parenthood have reached an all time high, so too has the number of lives ended by this profit-driven abortion business,” SBA List’s President Marjorie Dannenfelser said in a statement. “Destroying nearly one million children in three years is not health care and does not reflect a concern for vulnerable women and girls.”
Contraceptive services at Planned Parenthood have dropped by 12 percent since 2009, and cancer screening & prevention services have dropped by 29 percent.

Obama Threatens TX Women's Health - SE Texas Planned Parenthood Million Dollar Fraud Exposed in Lawsuit
All the talk from President Obama and the Democrats about standing for the health of women is all FALSE. They do not care. When they say they want to protect the health of women, they really mean they just want to protect the abortion industry and keep killing innocent Americans.
President Obama is threatening to end funding for a Texas Women's Health program that helps 130,000 low income women. Wait a second, I though Obama was all about helping women? NOT! You see, Texas will no longer allow money from this program to go to Abortion Providers like Planned Parenthood. Women in this Texas Health Program still have all options for getting health services that planned parenthood provides, except that the tax money will not be going to pay for abortion providers. You know this was going to make Obama mad because Obama loves Planned Parenthood and will do anything to keep their doors open and the baby mills churning. He even turned his back on the troops in the big government shutdown last year. He was willing to withhold pay from the troops fighting for us because planned parenthood funding was getting cut. Paying to kill babies is more important that paying the troops right?
President Obama says that Texas not funding Planned Parenthood in this Health Program limits the choices that women who are in this heath program should have.
So what does Obama do to "help" these women who have had their choices limited by big bad Texas? He does the only logical thing and completely ends funding for the health program and tosses the 130,000 in this program out on the street. Yep, Obama does not like that Texas limited health choices so Obama further limits health choices by not funding the program and effectively kicking all these women out of the program.
So, who is for Women's Health again? Yep, Obama and the Democrats have been outed. The Republicans are the ones who really do care about the health of Women and the health of babies. Texas wants to help women with this health program and at the same time stop funding baby killers. Obama and the Democrats do not care about the health of women. Obama only cares about funding baby mills, and if the money for funding abortions is restricted then he turns his back on women by completely defunding the health program.

Texas has good reason to end funding to Planned Parenthood. Not only do they kill babies, they also are deeply involved in scams and are stealing millions of dollars from taxpayers.
According to an article written by Karla Dial, a federal judge today unsealed a lawsuit a former Planned Parenthood employee filed nearly three years ago. The suit claims that the abortion seller engages in a pernicious and persistent pattern of Medicaid fraud.
Abby Johnson, the former director of a Planned Parenthood clinic in the Bryan/College Station area, states in the lawsuit filed by the Alliance Defense Fund (ADF) that Planned Parenthood knowingly sought improper reimbursements from the Texas Women’s Health Program from 2007 to 2009.
According to court documents, Planned Parenthood of Houston and Southeast Texas filed at least 87,075 fraudulent claims. As a result, according to Johnson, Planned Parenthood allegedly received more than $5.7 million from Medicaid for services the program doesn’t cover or which were never performed in the first place.

Happy 4th of July Independence weekend! Thanks to pro life victories in the Texas Legislature this year, there should be many more innocent young babies who will get a chance to enjoy life and freedom just like us!
The 2011 Texas Legislative Session might have ended on a bad note with some very important legislation getting blocked by leadership, and some of the best Texas conservative Republicans being hurt in redistricting… BUT… overall the 2011 Texas Legislative Session was able to pass some good legislation because of the Super Majority of Republicans in control of the Texas Legislature.
This 2011 Legislation included two GREAT pro-life bills.
SB 7 is a bill that will prevent Texas Taxpayer Dollars from paying for the elective murder of unborn babies. Planned Parenthood will no longer be able to use our money to do their dirty work.
HB 15 is a bill that will require doctor’s to offer the mother a chance to see the sonogram of her unborn baby and also listen to the baby's heartbeat. This will allow women to have the chance to be fully informed of what is really going on instead of the abortionist just telling the mother that what is inside of her is a non-human, non-living blob.
It is sad that cracking the egg of a bird could land you in jail because the life of the unborn bird is recognized and protected, yet the life of an unborn human baby goes unrecognized and unprotected…
Both bills passed this year and that is a huge step toward the right to life of the defenseless babies in Texas.

Update: Deal Reached - No Government Shutdown - Democrats Showed Support for Planned Parenthood over American Soldiers

Regardless of an agreement being reached tonight, the Democrats have now shown where their priorities lie. They were holding out and willing to not pay American Soldiers because they wanted to try to pay corrupt planned parenthood first.... very sad

How Obama, Democrats are Supporting Planned Parenthood by Forcing Soldiers and Officers to Put Lives on the Line with No Pay in Possible Government Shutdown
Obama and the Democrats want to pay Planned Parenthood more than they want to pay our Soldiers
Active Army National Guard Soldiers protecting our bordersin Texas found out today (Friday April 8th, 2011) that they are not getting paid during the possible government shutdown, but they will still be putting their lives on the line protecting America during the government shutdown. Specifically, soldiers on the border have already had half of their salary cut out of their next paycheck scheduled for April 15th. Federal Officers guarding murders and rapists at Federal Prisons found out today will not be getting paid either, but they will still be showing up to work and putting their lives on the line. Emails have gone out today informing Army National Guard Soldiers that some military operations are being halted and monthly training this weekend has been cancelled. Families of soldiers who die fighting will not even get paid a death benefit during the government shutdown.[1]
Why? Because payments to Planned Parenthood are more important to Obama and the Democrats than military training and payments to our soldiers and officers.
Here is the situation:
The budget has to be cut. The current debt spending cannot be sustained and the people are demanding the government to scale back spending. The Republicans are doing just that. They are cutting the budget. They have come up with a temporary plan to cut the budget, while allowing important government functions (like the military) to continue to operate while they come up with the more complex, long term budget cuts. At least they are trying to cut spending which is an about face compared to what the Democrats have been doing. One area that needs to be cut is funding to the corrupt Planned Parenthood. Planned Parenthood was recently exposed on Breitbart when a high ranking Planned Parenthood official was caught on tape advising a pimp on underage sex trafficking secret abortions for minors.[2] The Republicans have proposed cutting funding from Planned Parenthood in their current proposal that the House passed and sent to the Senate. The Democrats and Obama do not like it and so they are holding out. The Democrats are the ones responsible for the government shutdown and not the Republicans. The Republicans are not trying to sneak in an amendment to ban abortion in a budget deal. The Republicans are just trying to do what they were elected to do, which is cut spending, and that means cutting spending to Planned Parenthood. This type of budget cut, as part of a budget bill, is perfectly acceptable and is not just some political stunt by the Republicans. The Republicans simply want to cut spending and the Democrats do not like what is being cut and so the Democrats are going to not pay active duty soldiers and halt military training instead of not paying Planned Parenthood.
You can see what the priorities are for the Democrats. Regardless of whether or not an agreement is reached tonight, the Democrats already showed their true feelings about supporting Planned Parenthood over American Soldiers.
Democrats claim that Republicans are trying to defund health services for women but this is just not true. A spokesman for Rep. Mike Pence, R-Ind., who authored the language to defund Planned Parenthood, said he would not blink from his position, especially because his amendment to defund one group did not reduce the total health care dollars available to women.[3]
On a side note, the Texas House of Representatives has already taken the positive step to ending taxpayer funding of a corrupt organization when it recently Voted to Defund Planned Parenthood as part of the budget Cuts in Texas.[4]
