Texas Eagle Forum “Saul Alinsky was a brilliant man. Evil, but brilliant. Unfortunately, whether we like it or not, everyone on the Left from the President on down is playing by his rules in the political arena. Not all liberals have read his book or know his name, but his tactics have become universal. Sadly for conservatives, when two evenly matched forces go head-to-head outside of a fairy tale, the side that tries to play nice usually ends up with its head in a box. So, don’t lie or become an evil person like Alinsky, but learn from what he wrote and give the Left a taste of its own medicine,” writes John Hawkins for Townhall.com. Anarchists using Saul Alinsky’s “Rules for Radicals,” stalled our defense of LIFE last week in Austin, but they will NOT succeed again. Texans will never, never, never, never give up, nor forsake the more than 55 million babies killed since the U.S. Supreme Court declared a “shadow” in the U.S. Constitution granting the “right” to abortion. We thank God for our courageous pro-LIFE Gov. Rick Perry who called another special session to begin on Monday, July 1. Our pro-LIFE bill, HB 2, has been pre-filed by Rep. Jodie Laubenberg. It will protect women and save LIVES of Texans. This omnibus bill will change our state laws governing abortions, abortuaries, and abortion-inducing drugs: Abortionists will be required to determine the baby’s age before performing an abortion and will be prohibited from performing abortions after 20 weeks. Abortionists will be required to have admitting privileges at a hospital within 30 miles of the abortuary that will be required to have the minimum standards equivalent to those for an ambulatory surgical center. Only a physician, not a nurse or physician assistant, will be legally allowed to give, sell, dispense, administer, or prescribe an abortion-inducing drug (RU-486) to a pregnant woman. A follow-up visit within 14 days after use of the drug will be required. A public hearing on HB 2 is expected in the House State Affairs Committee on Tuesday, July 2 at 2 p.m. Please join us in Austin on Tuesday, July 2 at the John H. Reagan Building, 105 W. 15th Street, at 10 a.m. for the public hearing scheduled for HB 2 to begin at 2 p.m. And plan to stay until at least midnight. - See more at: http://ramparts360.com/join-texas-pro-lifeers-in-austin-on-tuesday-july-2/#sthash.vMxjmVXn.dpuf
