Mike Hamilton Lied About His Conservative Values

Please Do NOT Re-Elect Mike “Tuffy” Hamilton

Hamilton wrote a bill to bring Casinos and Expanded Gambling to East Texas and did everything he could to try to pass the bill. Mike Hamilton then called me and LIED to me when he told me that he was not in favor of Casinos or expanded gambling. Hamilton knows that Texans have repeatedly rejected Casinos because it is a tax on the poor and is not a good source to income to the state. Hamilton tried to pass the bill because his friend Liberal Joe Straus owns racetracks and stands to collect millions if casinos are allowed in Texas. Straus gave Hamilton a chairman position so in return Hamilton tried to pass a casino bill for Straus against even though east Texans are against it. Hamilton voted FOR liberal Joe Straus to be Speaker of the House after he told us he would not vote for him. Joe Straus has a history of being in favor of Planned Parenthood ABORTION, GAY COUPLE ADOPTION, Straus has campaigned for liberal democrats to beat conservative Republicans. Straus Stood against Texans and sided with the TSA being allowed to touch our private parts. Straus was even elected as Speaker by the DEMOCRATS. Straus got ALL the democrats and just a few Republicans to vote for him and that is how he was elected Speaker.

Hamilton was one of ONLY 3 Republicans to vote AGAINST Windstorm Insurance Reform. Hamilton voted against reforming windstorm insurance which would have devastated windstorm insurance. In voting against Lawsuit Reform, Hamilton sided with the Obama supporting lawyers who want to make millions.   

Mike Hamilton voted to give Illegal Aliens Driver’s Licenses Representative Hamilton even voted against providing law enforcement officers with the necessary training to stop illegal immigration.

Mike Hamilton has beer parties at his State Capitol Office for young interns and Lobbyists. He calls it “Tuffy Tuesdays.” He uses taxpayer resources to do this. He then gets tens of thousands of dollars from beer company lobbyists and PACS. Hamilton has been fined for Multiple Ethics Violations and has used campaign resources to go on luxury vacations, $100 lunches at hooters, and even illegally paying his family. Hamilton has even had Tax Liens for Not Paying Taxes

Mike Hamilton was rated 2^nd MOST LIBERAL Republican by Baker Institute after his 2009 session. Hamilton has also been given failing conservative scores after 2011 session by ALL of the top Christian and Conservative organizations. Texans for Fiscal Responsibility rated Tuffy only C+ fiscal conservative. Texas Eagle Forum gave him a 32% social conservative score. Young Conservatives of Texas gave him a 65% score, etc. Hamilton is absurdly trying to say that White is the liberal, but voting records and Conservative Ratings prove White is Super Conservative. Hamilton tried to get rid of common sense welfare reform that had been around since 2003 and he voted against a bill designed to crack down on people who cheat taxpayers on unemployment benefits.

Mike Hamilton moved to Lumberton to run against Conservative James White. Mike Hamilton moved to Lumberton only a few months ago. After redistricting, Hardin County was put into State Rep. James White’s new district. Hamilton lived in Orange but he did not want to run against liberal Allan Ritter (Ritter even voted to give Planned Parenthood tax dollars)Hamilton is better than Ritter, but instead of running against liberal Ritter, Hamilton decided to move to Lumberton

AOL/Huffington Post Making Race Baiting Calls about Jasper, TX Police Chief Rodney Pearson

After the last article I wrote last week about racism in Jasper, TX, I have received calls from residents of Jasper who say that AOL/Huffington Post called them regarding allegations that the Police Chief, Rodney Pearson, was being discriminated against because he is black. Talk about Race Baiting! The media does not care about the several white people who have filed lawsuits because they were discriminated against by the Police Chief and the City. They don't care about that. As soon as they hear that the black police chief claims he is being discriminated against, that is when they care. Can anyone say liberal media bias?

Rodney Pearson is not the victim of racial discrimination. Rodney Pearson is perpetrator. He is the one victimizing others and racially discriminating!

AOL/Huffington post is looking for another race story that they can sensationalize to make the white residents of Jasper look like villains when they are actually the victims.

Background info: I recently wrote an article about how racism has cost the city of Jasper millions due to the city having to settle with several white candidates filing racial discrimination lawsuits after being rejected for police chief by a majority black city council that instead had a backroom meeting and picked a less qualified man, Rodney Pearson. Pearson even has a criminal record and he lied about this criminal record on his police chief application. As a law enforcement officer, I know that lying about any criminal history on a law enforcement application is something that will get you immediately terminated. Pearson was inexplicably hired anyways and this decision seems to be based on the fact that Pearson is black. All the city's procedures and qualification standards for picking a police chief were disregarded and the black members of the council met in a backroom meeting to pick Pearson. When Rodney Pearson took office, he fired or demoted many of the white police officers. The city council then went on to give Pearson a $5000 raise even though city policy says he has to wait until after his first year to get a raise. The council, feeling the backlash for their bad decisions, even tried to give Pearson a big contract that would prevent a future city council from being able to fire Pearson without incurring a hefty financial loss.

Needless to say, Jasper had a recall election and two of the three black city council members responsible for hiring Pearson and for promoting the bad decisions of the council were kicked off of the city council after a vote of the people. The media tried to make it look like these black council members were kicked off because they were black. That of course was laughable because Jasper has and has had many black city leaders who the citizens of Jasper elected and like. It was not about race with these 2 council members who were kicked off of the council (Willie Lee Land and Terrya Norsworthy). It was about their decision to hire a police chief who was less qualified than all the other candidates and who had a criminal record and LIED about it on his application. It was about the council discriminating against others and making other bad decisions. It was about the right of the people to decide who their leaders are and recall the leaders who are not doing the right things.

So here we are today. The people of Jasper just elected a couple of new city council members to take the place of the members who were kicked off the council in the recall election. Rodney Pearson knows that his days as police chief might be numbered because this new council might fire him and hire a new police chief based on qualifications and not race. The new chief they pick might be black, white or brown. Race will not matter. Qualifications will matter.


Pearson knows he might be fired soon so he has devised a plan to to either secure his job or get him a nice settlement as a parting gift.

Rodney Pearson has recently announced that he is getting ready to sue the city for him being racially discriminated against.

WHAT?

Pearson was HIRED over all the other more qualified candidates and he was given a hefty raise within the first year, but somehow HE is the one why was racially discriminated against?

What a joke!

You want to know the evidence that Pearson uses to show that he was discriminated against? Get this, Pearson says he was discriminated against because the city did a background check on him when he was hire. that is Pearson's proof.

This is a joke and it is just fitting that AOL/Huffington Post is looking into Pearson's racism claims and yet they are ignoring the half a dozen lawsuits from the white candidates who WERE discriminated against when the city hired Pearson as the police chief.

On a side note, State Representative James White has had his district redrawn to include Jasper County. James White is a black conservative and one of the best representatives in the Texas Legislature.  I fully support James White for re-election against Mike Hamilton.I don't support James White based on color of skin. I support James White because he is the best man for the job no matter what color he is. Colorblind is how everyone should vote. He is a super conservative and a strong leader for East Texas! A Plea to Fellow Hardin County Conservatives;

Please Don't Re-­Elect Mike Hamilton

My name is Peter Morrison and I am a conservative activist here in Lumberton, Texas. Among other things,

I publish an email newsletter, The Peter Morrison Report (www.PeterMorrisonReport.com), with thousands

of subscribers across the state. I also serve as Treasurer of the Hardin County Republican Party and

formerly served on the Lumberton ISD School Board from 2007-2010, where I helped spearhead the effort to defeat an unnecessary $28 million school bond that would have increased our property taxes by 24%.

I am sending you this message asking you to not vote for incumbent State Rep. Mike Hamilton in the

upcoming Republican Primary on May 29th. Instead, I am asking all true conservatives to vote for the true

conservative in the race, State Rep. James White. First, some background:

Why Do We Have Two Incumbents Running Against Each Other?

James White currently represents the neighboring House district to our north, whereas Mike Hamilton

represents parts of Orange, Hardin and Newton counties. Last session, you may recall that there was a big

controversy over the reelection of liberal Rep. Joe Straus as Speaker of the Texas House. This all started in

the 2009 session when eleven liberal Republicans got together with the Democrats to elect a liberal

Republican Speaker, Joe Straus. Obamamania in 2008 had reduced the Republican majority to one seat in

2009, and Joe Straus and his liberal Republican cronies used the opportunity to put themselves in power.

In 2009, hardly any conservative legislation was passed as Straus and his cronies killed bill after bill that

conservatives supported, including many dealing with illegal immigration.

In 2010, after people saw what Obama was all about, Republicans came roaring back, winning their largest

majority in history, 101 seats and over two thirds of the Texas House. Conservatives were thrilled and

thought they could finally get rid of Joe Straus as Speaker, who after all was mostly elected by the

Democrats. They called, wrote, emailed and generally begged the Republican delegation to oust Straus.

Unfortunately, most of the Republicans revealed themselves to be cowards, with only 15 brave souls voting

with their constituents against Straus. The cowards were afraid the Speaker would retaliate against them,

taking away the pork they brought home to their districts or even worse, redrawing their districts to put

them out of office. Mike Hamilton was one of the cowards who voted for Straus. James White was one

of the brave 15 who stood with conservatives. Only 10% of Texans are fortunate enough to be represented

by one of these 15 state reps. We are lucky to have the opportunity to have a strong conservative like

James White represent us in Austin.

This is why they are running against each other. Straus' buddies redrew James White's district to overlap

with Mike's and are now supporting Hamilton as the hatchet man to run a good conservative out of office.

The linchpin of this strategy is Mike's assumption that Hardin County will overwhelmingly vote for him

since he is the incumbent of the old district.

My hope is that Hardin County will give Mike an unpleasant surprise on Election Day because he has a

history of betraying the conservative cause, not the least of which is his support of Joe Straus.

Mike Hamilton Picked This Fight

Up until a few months ago Mike Hamilton lived in Mauriceville. Had he stayed put, he could have ran

against Allan Ritter, a liberal Republican who now represents parts of Jefferson and Orange counties. Ritter

is a lifelong liberal Democrat who switched to Republican in 2010 to prevent the Tea Party from kicking

him out of office. Instead of running against this fake Republican, Mike Hamilton chose to move to

Lumberton and run against James White, whose district now includes Hardin County but also his home

in Tyler County

Mike Hamilton's Sorry Record and Deceitful Behavior

Over the years I have attempted to communicate with Rep. Hamilton about some of the issues with his

voting record. For example, Mike Hamilton Voted to give driver's licenses to illegal aliens. When I

confronted him about this vote, he claimed that he was just Voting to make them carry insurance. I went

and read the Texas House Journal, and it clearly was a vote for illegal aliens to get driver's licenses and

mentioned nothing about insurance. It was supported by the Cheap Labor Lobby and Mike was one of the

liberal Republicans who supported it.  constituent while serving the special

interests.

Similarly, Hamilton told me in a phone conversation in late 2010 that he would not vote for Joe Straus as Speaker, and then he turned around and voted for him. When I tried to call him back about it, he wouldn't

take my calls. This is not the behavior of a principled conservative.

The major conservative groups confirm this in their legislative ratings. Mike Hamilton has a C+ grade

from Texans for Fiscal Responsibility, while Rep. White has an A+ rating and was named a 2011 Texas Taxpayer Champion. Socially conservative group Eagle Forum gives Mike Hamilton a 32%

conservative rating, while Rep. White earned a 92%.

The choice before us could not be clearer. Please join me in supporting James White for State

Representative in the May 29th Republican Primary.

Paul Begala on Obama: Once a Drug Head Girl Pusher, Always a Drug Head Girl Pusher?

I recently came across an article on The Daily Beast “Paul Begala on Romney: Once a Bully, Always a Bully”

In the article, Paul starts out by saying that “It is a good general principle that we ought not hold teenage wrongdoing against middle-aged people.”

Paul then goes straight into saying it is ok to hold this 40 year old teenage incident against Romney Why? Because as an adult, Mitt Romney was a “bully” when he “cut” education as a governor and because his company laid people off.

Ok Paul, according to your logic, it would be perfectly fine for you to write an article with this as the headline:

“Paul Begala on Obama: Once a Drug Head Girl Pusher, Always a Drug Head Girl Pusher”

This article would start out talking about how you would not normally hold Obama’s ADMITTED teenage drug use against him now that he is a grown man.

You would then of course write an article that says it is ok to hold Obama’s past drug use against him.

Why? Because Obama hasn’t changed. Our border with Mexico is being overtaken by drug cartels. Drug Trafficking and Drug Cartel Violence along the border is shocking, like this massive cartel battle on the Texas/Mexico border or this shootout between Texas law enforcement and several drug cartel members. Yet, Obama has pulled our troops from the border. He even came to Texas and joked about how the border is safe and Republicans will not be happy until there is a moat with alligators. This is very similar to when he joked about doing drugs by saying that he “inhaled frequently … that was the point.” Obama seems to have a pattern of joking about doing drugs and drug related border violence.

You would then go on to say that you would not normally hold it against a grown Obama for admittedly shoving a girl in school, but then you would write about how it is ok to hold this against him. Why? Because Obama still shoves women around. He has recently shoved women in Texas around by defunding a women’s health program simply because Texas decided not to give any of that tax money to abortion mills. So Obama cuts off the entire women’s health service program funding and kicks all the women using that program out on the street all because Obama would rather fund planned Parenthood more than he wants to provide health services to women. And of course, there is Obamacare, which is Obama unconstitutionally pushing all Americans around by making us all purchase health insurance from private companies or face a penalty.

I can’t wait for that article to come out Paul.

Seriously though, how about we talk about the issues affecting us today instead of bringing up 40 year old stories told by Obama campaign workers who used to go to school with Romney. One of the witnesses to this incident now says he did not see or know about the incident and even the brother of this kid who was allegedly bullied says the story is factually incorrect and politically motivated. The guy is not even alive anymore to verify if this happened to him. Really? I guess I am not surprised that this vague 40 year old alleged high school incident is being brought up by the liberal media even though the media ignores Obama’s ADMITTED past drug use. It is all a ploy to distract people from Obama’s unpopularity on many issues. Especially this week when Obama has alienated most of America (especially blacks and Hispanics who oppose gay marriage in constitutional amendment votes) by “coming out” in support of gay marriage (I guess he lied last election when he said he is against gay homosexual marriage).

WASHINGTON (May 8, 2012) -- The Director of the White House Visitor's Office, Ellie

Shafer, today distributed an email newsletter ("Tuesday's Tidbits") to many recipients,

including Members of Congress, which gives detailed instructions on how to register an

unborn child ("a baby that has not yet been born," as Shafer puts it) into the security system

that is employed to arrange White House tours.

"We have received a number of calls regarding how to enter security information for a baby

that has not yet been born," Shafer wrote. "Crazy as it may sound, you MUST include the

baby in the overall count of guests in the tour. It’s an easy process."

The newsletter then proceeds to spell out how "the baby’s security information should be

entered" into the White House system, including such details as: "GENDER: if the parents

know put that gender down if not, you can enter either M or F as we’ll ask you to update it at

the time of birth." All of the information should be updated "once, the baby is born," the

newsletter instructs.

"It is ironic that President Obama's staff recognizes the existence of unborn babies for

purposes of providing security within the White House -- yet, there is no indication that

President Obama has any problem with the fact that throughout the District of

Columbia, abortion is now legal for any reason up to the moment of birth,”

for security purposes, but then aborted. On May 17, the House Judiciary Constitution

Subcommittee plans to hold a hearing on the District of Columbia Pain-Capable

Unborn Child Protection Act (H.R. 3803), which would generally prohibit abortion in the

sixth month and later in the District. If the President wants to provide for the security

of the unborn child immediately outside of the White House gates, as well as inside, he

should endorse this bill."

Racism Costs Jasper, TX MILLIONS. Black Police Chief Pearson Outrageously Files Lawsuit to Save his Job

Open Records Request documents show that the City of Jasper in East Texas has been hit hard financially as a result of the City Council's black member majority hiring Rodney Pearson as the new police chief in a backroom deal. The decision seems to be based solely on the fact that Pearson is black. Pearson was one of the least qualified and even had a criminal record. Since the hiring, the City of Jasper has been hit with several racial discrimination lawsuits by white candidates for police chief who say they were not hired because they are white. Two of the black Council Members involved were kicked off of the Council in a recall election. These two former members are currently seeking election back onto the Council in the May 12th city election this Saturday.

The racial discrimination that occurred in the hiring of Rodney Pearson based on race has cost the taxpayers of the city millions. The actual damages the city has had to pay so far has only been legal fees, insurance premiums and deductibles. The city insurance through Texas Municipal League has covered paying the racial discrimination settlements so far.  

The City of Jasper has lost out on MILLIONS of dollars in coverage as a result of the insurance adjustments. 

Due to the racial discrimination lawsuits against Jasper, the TML has recently reduced the limit of liability coverage provided to the City of Jasper from 1 million dollars to $500,000 with the annual aggregate getting lowered from 2 million dollars to 1 million dollars. The deductible will also get bumped up to $10,000 from $2,500.

This is a huge setback for the city.

There are still many more racial discrimination lawsuits that have yet to be resolved. The city will likely reach the insurance limits and will have to start paying the costly settlements. The city already has to pay the tens of thousands in legal fees and other expenses associated with this racial discrimination and when they have to start paying the settlements it will cost the city in a big way!

Police Chief Rodney Pearson Claims Racial Discrimination as a Stunt to Keep from Getting Fired Under New Council

Rodney Pearson gets hired as police chief based on him being black while other, better candidates got passed over. Pearson got a raise within 1 year even though he had not done anything but cause trouble and city policy does not allow for a raise within the first year. So how in the world is Pearson alleging racial discrimination?

He is alleging racial discrimination because he knows his days as police chief are numbered. You see, his buddies on city council got kicked out and there might be a change of power after this city council election on Saturday. A new council might decide to hire someone more qualified who does not have a criminal record. Pearson does not want to give up the job though so he plans on filing a racial discrimination lawsuit in hopes that this will keep him from getting fired or at least give him a nice payout if he does get fired. This guy is a slime ball.

Did I mention there is a complaint against this guy for fondling an elderly woman's breast?

Rodney Pearson Sides with Woman Beaters and Druggies over Police Officers

Sergeant Gary Pulled filed a racial discrimination lawsuit against the city after he was passed over for a promotion to LT by Pearson based on race. When Pearson took office he demoted or fired many white officers, including Pullen. A month later, the new police chief Pearson did not like that SGT Pullen filed a racial discrimination lawsuit so Pearson went looking for revenge. Pearson re-opened a use of force case in which SGT Pullen had already been cleared of wrongdoing. Pearson reopened the case and made the determination that Pullen should be fired for excessive use of force for getting drugs out of a druggies mouth before the drugs could be swallowed and also for pepper spraying as man who was beating as woman and spit in Officer Pullen's face. Swallowing the drugs would have resulted in possibly death and was an attempt to destroy evidence. Spitting on an officer can result in diseases and is assault. Pullen was cleared of wrongdoing but Pearson sided with the druggie and woman beater and fired Pullen. Two city council members even went to a different state to find this criminal and ask him to file a complaint and then gave this criminal a $50,000 handout even though he never filed and lawsuits!

This is one big mess in Jasper, TX. This is what happens though when we live in a country where racism is ok as long as the victim is white. We can thank people like Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson and the New Black Panthers for promoting this kind of racism. Will we ever live in a country where people are judged by the content of their character and not the color of their skin? Life would be much easier that way and we would have many less conflicts. People should never be judged by the color of their skin. The best person for the job should get the job. In this case, Pearson was not the best person.

On a different note, Jasper has a chance to have a very good, qualified, outstanding conservative black leader. State Representative James White is a Conservative Christian Republican. Jasper County has been put in James White's new district. Vote James White for State Representative House District 19 on May 29th, 2012 Republican Primary Election! I do not vote based on race. I vote on values. James White is an outstanding leader with great values. That is why I am voting for him. It is great though to have such a great republican leader who is black so that everyone can open their eyes to the realization that the liberal Democrat Party is not for minorities like blacks and Hispanics. Obama just came out and supported gay marriage for crying out loud. That is something that most minorities in Texas and America are strongly against! The Republican Party and Christian Conservative Values are better for minorities. We want to lift people up to be able to have a good job and a good life. The democrats just want minority votes by giving out free handouts and keeping minorities down.
