How many people voted in each of these races?
ReplyDeleteWhere is the rest of it? There were also Texas House and Senate races voted on. Those aren't included here.
ReplyDeletethe full list of results can be seen at http://saddleuptexaspoll.com/ I did not post all the state and local race results because it would be really long. This post shows the major race poll results
ReplyDeleteI heard you didn't even have to show ID to vote and that you didn't even have to live in Texas. Is this true????? It needs to be investigated!!!
ReplyDeleteAnonymous, I was there. Yes you had to show a photo ID. Please relax.
ReplyDeleteDavid, you forgot to factor in the "text" votes: http://saddleuptexaspoll.com/2012/01/straw-poll-results-text-poll/ .... which clearly does not make it a 4 way tie for first in the pres. spot. But, if you wish to immitate the state media you are on target.
I still have not seen an individual tally of total votes cast in each of the different races for each of the polls (ballot/text). Each voter/attendee was only permitted to vote once in each ballot or text poll and only for one candidate in up to each of the 5 levels of races (President, Senate, Congress, TX Sen, TX House). Thus some voters may not have voted in all 5 levels of races and certainly the grand total of votes cast is not the same for each down-ballot race. The whole straw poll was a neat idea and seems to have been as well executed as it could have been but these results are in no way complete without individual tallies.
