Military pastors ordered to stop quoting Bible, leave Jesus at home
Two military chaplains are suing Eric Shinseki, secretary of the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs, or VA, for allegedly being harassed and drummed out of a training and placement program because of their Christian faith.
Chaplains Major Steven Firtko, U.S. Army (Retired) and Lieutenant Commander Dan Klender, U.S. Navy, claim they were mocked, scolded and threatened for their faith while enrolled in the San Diego VA-DOD Clinical Pastoral Education Center program, which trains and distributes chaplains to military and VA medical centers in the San Diego area.
According to their lawsuit, Firtko and Klender allege the Center’s supervisor, Ms. Nancy Dietsch, a VA employee, derided them in classrooms and even had one of them dismissed for failing to renounce his Christian beliefs.
Dietsch is also accused of allowing other students to deride Firtko and Klender, mocking them in front of the class and telling Firtko if he held to his beliefs on such things as evolution, salvation and homosexuality, he “did not belong in this program.” Eventually, the lawsuit states, she threatened to dismiss Firtko for refusing to recant his Christian doctrine and ordered he serve a six-week probation.

Barry Smitherman: Texas Preparing for Sovereignty if U.S. Falls Apart – Attorney General Race Update
In an interview with WND’s John Griffing, Texas Railroad
Commission Chairman, and Texas Attorney General Candidate, Barry Smitherman, said that
Texas is preparing to survive as an independent nation if the U.S. falls apart.
Smitherman simply wants us to be ready for if the time comes when Texas is on her
own without the Federal government. I have a generator to power my house if the
power goes out. I do not want the power to go out, but if it does I am prepared
to keep the lights on. Shouldn’t Texas also be prepared to keep the lights on
if the federal government goes out?
I have always liked Barry Smitherman. He stands for what is
right without thinking about political correctness. Heck, he has sued Obama 7
times already! He is not just a Christian conservative. He is a Christian
conservative who can LEAD. I see in him the passion that I saw in Ted Cruz when
I went out on a limb and supported Cruz against the establishment grain. Smitherman
is being smart and thinking ahead. He is thinking about Texas, but certainly
not turning his back on America. As a Texan myself, I completely support
Smitherman’s survival plan just as I supported a bill that State Rep James White filed in 2013
called the “Texas Self Sufficiency Act”. White’s bill would prepare Texas
for sovereignty by doing a study to determine, financially, how Texas will
survive on our own if the Federal Government collapses. We are not talking
about pushing for Texas Secession. We are just talking about being prepared for
anything that might happen if the very volatile and unstable Federal Government
falls apart. This means being prepared for even the possibility of Texas
secession, independence, surviving on our own, etc.
I am not advocating for Texas to become enemies with America
or turn our backs on America, and neither is Smitherman, but there is a very
real possibility that the U.S. will fall apart and crumble over things like
MASSIVE debt. What will we do if the U.S. falls apart? Do we have a plan for
Texans to survive on our own? Are we capable of surviving on our own? The State
of Texas should not wait until the U.S. fails to simply be prepared and be
capable of surviving IF the U.S. fails.

state is “uniquely situated because we have energy resources, fossil and
otherwise, and our own independent electrical grid.”
“This was one of my
goals at the Utility Commission and it is one my goals currently as chairman of
the Railroad Commission,” Smitherman said. “That’s why I stress so vehemently
oil and gas production, permitting turnaround times, and everything that
enables the industry to produce as much as it can, as quickly as it can.”
Smitherman added in
the interview that Texas has “been very strong leading in the charge against
the Obama administration.”

Video Shows Illegal Arrest & Perjury by Texas Judge Layne Walker and Jefferson County Sheriff Deputies
Shocking corruption uncovered in Southeast Texas. The FBI is
investigating after a secret video proves that Democrat State District Judge Layne
Walker, his court law enforcement officers, and other officials in Beaumont,
Jefferson County , TX committed a vast number of crimes including FALSE ARREST,
PERJURY, THEFT, DESTRUCTION OF EVIDENCE. (see video below at end of article)
East Texas is Corrupt but this is especially shocking because this
is our law enforcement and justice system conspiring together to break the law
and put a man in jail! We are supposed to be able to trust them. Texas State
Authorities need to step in as soon as possible and charge these public
officials and remove the Judge from the bench. Furthermore, the false charges
against Stephen Hartman must be dropped immediately. Can you imagine if there
was no secret video? God help anyone else who has been wronged by this Judge
who thinks he is above the law.
I am writing this article after speaking directly with Hartman’s
attorney, John Morgan, who provided me the information, facts, and video to

Judge Layne Walker has Long History of
Corruption including Misappropriating Taxpayer Funds, Illegal Search of Cell
Phones, and Political Retaliation by taking a Man’s Children away
Judge Walker was exposed recently for misusing money from the
Texas Indigent Defense Fund. This fund, by law, can only be used for indigent
legal fees. According to a complaint sent the Texas Attorney General Greg
Abbott, Judge Walker made 21 payments from the Indigent Defense Fund to “Right
Time Educational Support Systems.” These 21 payments illegally went to pay for
things other than legal fees of the indigent.
One of the lawyers representing the individuals who exposed this
misappropriation of funds is John Morgan. After Judge Walker was exposed,
Walker retaliated against Morgan by taking away Morgan’s children in a child
custody case and not letting Morgan even see his children still to this day,
over a year, while still requiring Morgan to pay full child support. Morgan has
never done anything wrong legally, has never been accused of wrongdoing with
his children, and is completely mentally and physically competent. Judge Walker
is childhood friends with Morgan’s ex-wife and should have recused himself, but
instead Walker used his power to take a man’s children away with no visitation
rights simply because Morgan was associated with the people who exposed
Walker’s illegal use of funds and because Walker is a friend of Morgan’s
Ex-Wife.
Judge Walker even illegally confiscated the cell phones from
Morgan and his Children and deleted information on the phones that showed abuse
of the children by Morgan’s Ex-Wife. Judge Walker tried to bill Morgan for the
illegal search. Walker was clearly wrong and Morgan filed a lawsuit. Walter
lost and was slapped down by the Texas State 9th Court of Appeals for these
illegal actions.
Judge Walker Pulls Gun on Process Server Stephen
Hartman
Stephen Hartman is a licensed Process Server. Hartman tried to
serve Judge Layne Walker with a subpoena by knocking on Walker’s front door.
Walker opened the door with a gun and ran Hartman off. Hartman then tried to
serve the papers at Walker’s officer but his staff did not allow it.

Deputies Illegally Arrest Stephen Hartman, Commit Perjury, Theft of Evidence,
etc.
Serving Judge Walker at his home didn’t work and might get someone
killed, and it was a no go at Walker’s office too, so Hartman decided a more
public place was needed to serve the papers so that the Judge cannot refuse and
could not pull a gun. Hartman went to Judge Walker’s Courtroom on May 28th,
2013. As video below shows, Hartman sat in the Courtroom until there was about
to be a break. Hartman then got up and walked to the side of the courtroom to
quietly get the attention of the bailiff. Hartman never crossed the bar or
tried to approach the Judge. The Officer came over and Hartman said he needed
to serve the Judge. A second officer came over and told Hartman he needed to
leave or be arrested. The judge says to arrest him so the second officer then
forced Hartman out of the courtroom and placed him under arrest, all the while
Hartman was asking what he was being arrested for and saying he was not doing
anything wrong.
This is where things just go even more downhill. The officers,
Judge, Assistant DA, and other officials in the room had no idea there was a
secret video so they all had to back up the arrest by conspiring together to
write false statements saying that Hartman crossed the bar and was being load
and disruptive, etc. Well, the secret recording of the incident (see below)
proved that they all committed perjury and illegally arrested and charged
Hartman.
It gets worse, one of Mitch Woods’ Jefferson County Deputies,
acting under the orders of Judge Walker, broke the seal of the property bag of
Stephen Hartman and went though Hartman’s phone. This Deputy then found the
secret recorder pen and removed it from the property bag. When Hartman asked
for the recorder pen back, he was told there was no pen. In reality, the deputy
had taken the pen HOME and tried to destroy the video. Under mounting pressure,
the Department got the video pen back from this deputy and returned it to
Hartman. The deputy could not delete the video so he tried to hide the video by
uploading lots of other videos of dancing girls.
So there you have it. Shocking public corruption, Beaumont, TX
style. I am sure everyone in Texas has at one time heard of the vast corruption
in the Beaumont Independent School District. The corruption in Jefferson County
is not confined to one area. It is everywhere. Hopefully this video will
finally put some of the bad guys behind bars, or at least off the bench.

More security 'in the event of a national or international financial crisis'
“The eyes of Texas are upon you” goes the song, but right now those eyes seem to be squarely focused on the financial crisis in Cyprus.
Texas Gov. Rick Perry is supporting a bill that would return the state’s $1 billion in gold reserves currently stored by the Federal Reserve at a vault in New York to the state.
The sponsor of the bill, State Rep. Giovanni Capriglione, R-Southlake, told the Texas Tribune, “For us to have our own gold, a lot of the runs on the bank and those types of things, they happen because people are worried that there’s nothing there to back it up.”
Bank runs were the great fear in the Mediterranean-island country of Cyprus today, as banks reopened for the first time since March 16, while the European Union imposed unprecedented austerity measures on the nation, including confiscating money in bank accounts. WND reported on March 18 the concerns that the crisis could spread to the U.S. financial system.
Capriglione said his bill is, “not about putting Texas on its own gold standard, [but instead will] give the state a reputation as being more financially secure in the event of a national or international financial crisis.”
“If we own it,” Perry told Glenn Beck last week, “I will suggest to you that that’s not someone else’s determination whether we can take possession of it back or not.”
Capriglione’s bill would establish the Texas Bullion Depository to hold the gold.
“We don’t want just the certificates. We want our gold. And if you’re the state of Texas, you should be able to get your gold,” said Capriglione.
However, he concedes transporting $1 billion worth of gold bars would be impractical, so he suggests selling the gold and repurchasing it in Texas.
The bill might get bipartisan support. State Sen. Rodney Ellis, D-Houston, called the bill “an interesting concept” and wants to consult financial experts on its merits.

PLANNED PARENTHOOD PRAISES SEXUAL PLEASURE FOR KIDS

Countries around the world were encouraged to set aside this period of time to focus attention on the 1.5 billion children who then populated the Earth. The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) directed the IYC, which was headed by Estefania Aldaba-Lim, of the Philippines. A total of 151 nations took part in IYC.
In the United States, President Jimmy Carter signed an executive order creating a National Commission for the International Year of the Child, and named Jean Childs Young, wife of then-UN Ambassador Andrew Young, as its chairman. The Commission, comprising private citizens and members of Congress, encouraged all Americans to develop a new level of awareness of the special needs of children growing up in a complex, highly competitive society. To achieve this result the Commission promoted and coordinated the activities of federal government agencies and more than 400 national organizations. It also initiated and publicized specific activities and programs relating to the welfare of children through direct contact with governors, mayors, civic leaders, child advocacy groups, heads of national organizations and corporations, and children themselves in organizing their roles in the observance. Congress appropriated no funds for the Commission, so all activities were financed by local governments and/or private donors.

Just as controversial, it also advances as a fundamental goal the “removal of parental involvement or spousal consent laws that prevent young people from seeking sexual and reproductive health services.”
Declaring that “All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights,” the document adds, “Therefore, all young people should be able to exercise and fulfil (sic) their rights equally, including sexual rights. … Barriers must be removed so that everyone, especially marginalized and under-served groups, can enjoy all human rights.”
Skirting the universal concept of an age of consent, the organization instead cites the “evolving capacities” of children for sexual pleasure, deeming all youngsters’ “ability to make decisions about [their] sexuality and to have these decisions respected based on each young person’s evolving capacities.”
IPPF also contends that young people have a right to “meaningful participation in the planning, implementation and evaluation of all sexual health and rights services, programs and policies.”
Shockingly, it repeatedly advocates for sexual experiences for children: “All people under 18 years should enjoy the full range of human rights, including sexual rights. The importance and relevance of some rights change as a person transitions from infancy to childhood to adolescence. Therefore, the rights of children and youth must be approached in a progressive and dynamic way.”
The document, released in 2011, emphasizes that “sexuality and sexual pleasure are important parts of being human for everyone – no matter what age, no matter if you’re married or not and no matter if you want to have children or not.”
Governments, it demands, must “uphold all people’s sexual rights, including young people.”
“International treaties and conventions such as the [Convention on the Rights of the Child] and [Convention on the Elimination of all forms of Discrimination against Women] are legally binding human rights instruments. This makes them powerful advocacy tools to hold leaders accountable. Governments often fall short of fulfilling the commitments outlined in international treaties and agreements; however by signing or ratifying an agreement, they are legally bound to uphold these commitments. Planned Parenthood is well known for performing abortions across the country, but now they are moving into promoting children's sexual rights. This organization is evil! If you give money to any group who supports them, you are promoting Planned Parenthood too. And don't forget to research your church denomination to be sure they don't send your tithe money to any group who is tied to PP. Check out the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship and the Baptist Joint Committee on Public Affairs. Do you remember how surprised we all were to find out that the Komen Foundation for the Cure were giving to PP?
Back in the l979 during Pres. Jimmy Carter's term, there was International Year of the Child promoted out of the White House. Christians were supporting this! The United Nations was very involved in this promotion. Marian Wright Edelman who is President of the Children's Defense Fund was a leader of the IYC. I attended one of their conferences in Austin
and I heard personally Ms Edelman's goals to give children sexual rights. They promoted A Children's Bill of Rights which ridiculed parental rights.

America's favorite action star is doing just that this election -- calling on evangelical Christians across the nation to join him in crushing the creep of socialism under President Obama.
Norris and his wife, Gena, have filmed a public service announcement, unveiled exclusively at WND, wherein the two urge Christians to help save the country in November.
"We are here to talk about a growing concern we all share," Chuck Norris explains. "If we look to history, our great country and freedom are under attack. We're at a tipping point and, quite possibly, our country as we know it may be lost forever if we don't change the course in which our country is headed."
Gena warns that voter apathy among evangelicals in 2008 may have contributed to Obama's election in the first place.
"With our country at a crossroads, Chuck and I have asked ourselves what we can be doing to help support this great country we're blessed to live in and how we can encourage our like-minded American brothers and sisters to unite and let their voices be heard," she said. "It is estimated that in the 2008 election, 30 million evangelical Christians stayed home on voting day and Obama won the election by 10 million votes."
Chuck cautions Christians about the cost of doing nothing while the nation spirals into a state of socialism from which there will be no return.
"We know you love your family and your freedom as much as Gena and I do," he says in his appeal to Americans. "And it is because of that we can no longer sit quietly or stand on the sidelines and watch our country go the way of socialism or something much worse."
Gena urged Christians to register and cast their votes on Election Day to ensure "our voices will be heard."
Chuck recalled the cautionary words of great patriots on the subject of preserving liberty:
"As Edmund Burke said, 'All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men and women do nothing.'
"Our great president, Ronald Reagan said, 'Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We didn't pass it to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected and handed on for them to do the same.'"
Likewise, Gena noted, "President Reagan went on to say that 'You and I have a rendezvous with destiny. We will preserve for our children this last best hope of man on earth, or we will sentence them to take the first step into a thousand years of darkness. If we fail, at least let our children and our children's children say of us we justified our brief moment here. We did all that could be done.'"
Chuck Norris concludes the announcement by encouraging Americans to close ranks and defend their great nation "for God and country."
"Please stand with us," he urges. "Let's unite for God and country. And may God continue to bless the United States of America. See you at the polls."

Black Mob Beats White Couple, Media Buries Attack - 911 No Answer
This story has three important issues: Media Bias, Importance of Guns for Self Defense, and black violence.
One issue is the media bias in America. A black, racially charged mob attacks and beats a white couple and it does not even make the back page of the paper. The media only cares about stuff like this when they can sensationalize some sort of racism that they think white people have against blacks. When it is the other way around, the media is nowhere to be found.
The second issue is that the woman who was attacked tried to call 911 but got a busy signal TWICE. She finally made is through to the police. This is EXACTLY one of the reasons why we have a right to bear arms in America. The police are not there to help you the second you need it. You might not even be able to call them or they might be several minutes away. A gun gives you the ability to protect your own life when you need the protection instead of having to wait and hope you are not killed before the police get there.
The third issue is black violence. All races have bad guys and who commit crimes, but it is a fact that there is a serious problem of violence in black comunities. Blacks don't have to worry about any racist white people because they are already killing themselves at an alarming rate! This is something that these civil rights leaders like Al Sharpton, Jessee Jackson and New Black Panthers need to address. Instead of calling people to violence because of some made up racism in the Trayvon Martin shooting, how about you call for an end to the alarming amount of violence and killings within black communities?

There’s outrage in Norfolk, Va., today after a white couple was attacked by dozens of black teenagers, and the local newspaper did not report on the incident for two weeks, despite the victims being reporters for the paper.
Even today, the Virginian-Pilot did not cover the crime as news, but rather as an opinion piece by columnist Michelle Washington.
“Wave after wave of young men surged forward to take turns punching and kicking their victim,” Washington wrote, describing the onslaught that began when Dave Forster and Marjon Rostami stopped at a traffic light while driving home from a show on a Saturday night. A crowd of at least 100 black young people was on the sidewalk at the time.
“Rostami locked her car door. Someone threw a rock at her window. Forster got out to confront the rock-thrower, and that’s when the beating began. …
“The victim’s friend, a young woman, tried to pull him back into his car. Attackers came after her, pulling her hair, punching her head and causing a bloody scratch to the surface of her eye. She called 911. A recording told her all lines were busy. She called again. Busy. On her third try, she got through and, hysterical, could scream only their location. Church and Brambleton. Church and Brambleton. Church and Brambleton. It happened four blocks from where they work, here at the Virginian-Pilot.”
Washington says neither suffered grave injuries, but both were out of work for a week. Forster’s torso ached from blows to his ribs, and he retained a thumb-sized bump on his head. Rostami reportedly fears to be alone in her home, while Forster wishes he’d stayed in the car.
The columnist admits the story has not, until today, appeared in the Virginian-Pilot.
“The responding officer coded the incident as a simple assault, despite their assertions that at least 30 people had participated in the attack,” Washington explains. “A reporter making routine checks of police reports would see ‘simple assault’ and, if the names were unfamiliar, would be unlikely to write about it. In this case, editors hesitated to assign a story about their own employees. Would it seem like the paper treated its employees differently from other crime victims?”
Washington says the day after the beatings, Forster searched Twitter for mention of the attack, and one post in particular chilled him.
“I feel for the white man who got beat up at the light,” wrote one person.
“I don’t,” wrote another, indicating laughter. “(do it for trayvon martin)”
Trayvon Martin is the unarmed black teen who died after being shot by a community-watch captain with white and Hispanic parents, George Zimmerman, in Sanford, Fla., sparking a wave of outrage long after the incident.
The newspaper is coming under heavy criticism today from residents in the greater Norfolk area, known as Hampton Roads.
