Black Rep. James White Criticizes Holder and GOP Rep. Sensenbrenner for implying that Texas Restricts Minority Voting Rights

James White
State Representative James White has sent a letter to Republican Congressman James (Jim) Sensenbrenner blasting Sensenbrenner and Eric Holder, and demanding that they stop messing with the 10th Amendment rights of Texas.

Rep. James White, a Texas Tea Party Conservative, knows quite a bit about the voting rights of minorities in Texas because, well, he is a minority in Texas.

James "Jim" Sensenbrenner
Specifically, Rep. White chastized Republican Rep. Sensenbrenner for saying it is ok to put Texas under the unfair preclearance microscope of the Voting Rights Act while at the same time Sensenbrenner does not want his own state of Wisconsin to be under preclearance. White further pointed out that Texas is not under preclearance because it had been struck down by the Supreme Court as unconstitutional unless Congress could fix the way states are determined to have the need to be under preclearance. White suggested the Congressman actually pass a new VRA to fix the problems instead of trying to target Texas and get around the Supreme Court's decision.

Eric Holder
White also blasted Attorney General Eric Holder. White, a minority elected official in east Texas,
says that statistics show the minority vote is not being restricted in southern states. White even pointed out that black voter turnout was higher than white voter turnout in recent elections. White then suggested that, instead of suing Texas, Holder should investigate harassment by the IRS toward groups that provide an opportunity for people to exercise their 1st Amendment rights.

Elbert Guillory
Recently, Elbert Guillory, a black State Senator from the southern state of Louisiana, made a viral video explaining why he switched to the Republican Party. In the video, Guillory even blasted and exposed the Democrat Party as being the party of the KKK and the party that has historically discriminated against blacks and minorities while the Republicans freed blacks and gave them rights and elected the first blacks to public office.

The following is a press release from State Rep. James White regarding the situation with Holder and Sensenbrenner:

State Representative James White Criticizes Holder and Sensenbrenner for Going After Texas

State Representative James White (R-Hillister) recently sent a letter to Republican Wisconsin Congressman Jim Sensenbrenner criticizing him for supporting Attorney General Eric Holder's move to put Texas back under the Section 5 preclearance requirements of the Voting Rights Act (VRA) after the Supreme Court struck down procedures in Section 4 that determine which states are subject to these requirements. Instead of encouraging Congress to update those procedures, as the Supreme Court directed, Holder is opting to use the "bail-in" provision of Section 3, which allows the federal government to apply the preclearance requirements to states where there are allegations of intentional discrimination. Representative White deplored this politicization of the judicial system. "Holder's decision to attack Texas's laws is a violation of its sovereignty and the 10th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution," White said. "Instead of suing Texas, Holder should investigate harassment by the IRS toward groups that provide an opportunity for people to exercise their 1st Amendment rights."

White questioned Sensenbrenner's inconsistent advocacy of Holder's attempt to apply the VRA to Texas. "Why are you advocating the targeted enforcement of a provision of this law without suggesting that same level of scrutiny apply to your home state?" White asked. He noted that the Supreme Court did not throw out the VRA in its entirety but sent it back to Congress for it to update the procedures that determine which states should be subject to Section 5 preclearance. White continued, "Instead of aiding and abetting political harassment from the Holder Justice Department, it seems to me your focus should be on improving the VRA and ensuring that voters in Wisconsin have the optimum access to the ballot box."

White shared compelling data to demonstrate that the Justice Department's tactics are misguided and overtly political. In 2012, the national black voter turnout rate was higher than the white voter turnout rate. The Southern states primarily targeted with VRA preclearance have seen increases in minority voter registration levels, election turnout rates, and representation among elected officials since the enactment of the VRA, and these figures are on par with other regions of the country. White explained, "These facts raise serious doubts about the validity of allegations of intentional discrimination by states like Texas toward minorities."

White acknowledged that the VRA is a successful piece of social policy because it focused on expanding individual liberty. "I stand proudly on the shoulders of those before me that fought for this precious right," White said. "However, the recent application of the VRA has interfered with 10th Amendment rights. Instead of promoting the popular will of all the people, politicos have gamed the system for partisan gain." The Court did not ditch the VRA, it just told Congress to fix it. "Please," White asked Sensenbrenner, "refrain from supporting this politicized Justice Department's obstruction of the voting process. I urge you to go to work to reform this great piece of legislation that protects all voters from sea to shining sea and ensure that the march for individual liberty continues throughout this next great American century."

Elbert Guillory, an African-American state senator from Louisiana, recently became a Republican. And one week later, he released a video explaining his move — and urging others to join him in “abandoning the government plantation and the party of disappointment.”

Watch this video, and I think you’ll agree we may be seeing a lot more of this man:

Left Attacks Black Conservative NFL QB: RGIII: Americans ‘Held Hostage By The Tyranny Of Political Correctness’

If a black liberal were attacked it would be all over the news as racist, but when a black conservative is attacked it is ok... he is just a cornball brother according to the liberals. He is not really a black man because according to them black men should only believe liberal ideas... This is ridiculous! Once again, black NFL quarterback Robert Griffin III (RGIII) has come under attack for simply tweeting that political correctness is holding America hostage... He is RIGHT! but the media hates it when black men who are conservative speak out because it ruins their plan of trying to trick America into believing that there are no conservative, Republican minorities.

Redskins Star QB RGIII Blasts ‘Tyranny of Political Correctness’ — The Left Freaks Out

Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III on Tuesday complained about the “tyranny of political correctness” currently holding Americans “hostage.” His comments, posted on his official Twitter account, come as some people are demanding the Redskins change their team name because of its “racist” meaning.
“In a land of freedom we are held hostage by the tyranny of political correctness,” Griffin tweeted.

The comment may seem innocent, but it was enough to send the left into a frenzy, as noted on Twitchy. Here are some of the responses:

Several of the criticisms hurled at Griffin seemingly accuse the QB of not knowing the definition of “tyranny.” Because they failed to understand the meaning behind his words, Griffin later felt compelled to explain to outraged Twitter users that “tyranny” has more than one meaning. He also followed up with a fitting quote following the angry response to his tweet: “If we speak..we say it the wrong way If we do not speak we are cowards….”

"Blacks for Obama" Racially Segregates Voters - Affirmative Action in Supreme Court

During Black History Month, Obama released a new video announcing the launch of BLACKS FOR OBAMA. (see video below)

This is an attempt to segregate voters based on RACE instead of voters joining together in groups based on VALUES. Minorities actually tend to be conservative in their beliefs and they are waking up to the realization that Obama is WAY TOO LIBERAL. So what do you do? You take the focus off of the values and you put the focus on race and drive a racial divide through the Heart of America.

Not only is it racist to segregate voters by race, it also shows how hypocritical things are in America.

Whites for Romney? Whites for Clinton? Whites for anyone White who wants to run for office? Of course those groups would never exist in America. That would be racist! But blacks for Obama is not racially dividing at all right? For the record, I would be against any groups (white, black, Hispanic) that are formed together solely on the basis of race instead of formed on the basis of values. I believe people should vote for someone based on the content of their character and not the color of their skin. I don't care if you are black, white, Hispanic or whatever. I will vote for you if you are a conservative and I will vote against you if you are a liberal. I fully support Ted Cruz for US Senate (Cuban) and one of my most favorite Texas State Representatives, and one of the most conservative Republican State Representatives in Texas, is State Representative James White (Black).

Racist Double Standards: No Outrage after Black DJ Racially Attacks Black Candidate - Racism Hypocrisy Needs to End

Hypocrisy and double standards are two of the biggest problems in America. I recently wrote an article about hypocrisy in America, "Hypocrisy: Obama Aides Owe Taxes; Military OK with Burning Church but not Koran? Killing Baby OK, Killing Cat Not?"

Racism Hypocrisy is also alive and well in America.

So much for Martin Luther King Jr.'s Dream of people being judged by their character instead of the color of their skin. I really wish we lived in a day and age when race was no longer involved in anything. No more race boxes to check. I really wish everything was color blind. I support State Representative James White, not be because he is black, but because he stands for conservative ideas. When I go to an Apostle Claver rally, it is not because he is black, but because he stands against Abortion (which is actually killing black people at a much higher rate than white people). I am voting for Ted Cruz for US Senate, not because he is Cuban, but because he stands for conservative values. When I voted against Obama and John Kerry, it is not because of the color of their skin, but because they had the wrong ideas for America.

Unfortunately, many people in America still do use race as a factor in decisions. Some white people do, some Hispanic people do, some black people do. It is wrong, period. The hypocrisy though is that America gets outraged when a white person does something that could be considered or is racist, but America does not seem to care at all when a black person is openly being racist.

It is this kind of hypocrisy and double standard that actually keeps racism alive and well in America instead of it being a thing of the past.

For instance, there was widespread outrage and calls for Don Imus to be fired after he said "nappy haired hoes" in reference to women players from Rutgers. Fast forward to today and a black DJ, Thaddeus Matthews, goes on a racial tirade against a black woman running for congress, Charlotte Bergmann. He called her a "Curly-Haired Nigga" and a "Token Negro" and then refused to shake her hand because he didn't want to get her "Whiteness" on him.

He is clearly a racist right? There should be calls for him to be fired right? Wrong! Why? Because the DJ is black.

You see, there is a double standard in America. In many cases, if you are black, it is ok to be racist and say offensive words about black people, and it is especially ok to be openly racist about white people. It is ok to have racist organizations that only allow black people but it would certainly not be ok to have an organization that excluded blacks. It is ok to have black entertainment channels and black only scholarships but would never be ok to have the same things only for white people.

Politics is especially racist and unequal. For instance, in Texas redistricting the minority groups are suing because they say Texas should create more districts just for black and Hispanics so they can elect someone who is only black or Hispanic. Can you imagine if a white group demanded that they get a district where only white people can live and only a white person can be elected? And the idea that only a black could represent a black and only a white can represent a white is simply outrageous. people should vote for someone based on what they believe, not simply based on the color of their skin. The Democrat organizations of course use race as an advantage in trying to sue Texas over redistricting. These Democrat organizations do not care about getting a black or Hispanic elected. They only care about getting a Democrat elected and they use race, well, because they can. There are actually black and Hispanic republicans that the Democrats have NO problem trying to hurt in Texas redistricting. Why? Because they only care about getting a Hispanic or black elected if they are Democrat. They don't actually care about minorities in general.

The fact of the matter is, minorities are actually mostly conservative in their beliefs and should abandon the liberal Democrat Party!

Hate Crime Laws are Especially Hypocritical and not enforced equally. Just recently there was a mob of blacks who attacked a white person and used racial slurs throughout the attack. They will not get charged with a hate crime. I can almost guarantee you though that if a gay person or a minority is attacked by a group of straight whites, it would automatically be considered as a hate crime even with no proof of racism. It is a double standard.

Hate Crime Laws are not logical either.

Murder is murder. Assault is Assault. Rape is Rape. I don’t care if you are a white guy who kills a black guy or if you are a black guy who killed a white guy. Murder is horrendous and wrong regardless of the color of one’s skin. It is wrong to say that one person’s life is more important than another person’s life simply based on the color of the murdered person’s skin. Hate crime legislation does just that. Hate crime legislation says that the rape and murder of a little girl is somehow less important or less hateful than the murder of a black man by a white man. Both of the murders killed someone and they both should be dealt with using the strongest penalties allowed. In my opinion, every murder is a hate crime.

We need to break down the walls of using race as a determining factor in America. Whether it is college admissions or a job application, race should never be a factor. Like Martin Luther King Jr. once said, people should be judged by the content of their character and not the color of their skin. Having race as a determining factor in any area of government simply keeps racism alive.
Political Correctness plays a part in the problem. For instance, we call all black people African Americans. Fox News reports that many black people are actually opposed to being called African Americans. They just want to be called AMERICAN and their color is black. Africa has nothing to do with who they are. They want to move forward. They are Americans!
Let’s move past political correctness and seeing color in everything we do. Why can’t we be color blind and judge people by who they are and what they believe instead of the color of their skin? We especially should never vote for someone based on their color and not based on their beliefs and values!

Black Republican Bill Calhoun Tells Minorities: It's Time to Let Go of Obama and the Democrats!

The following is a letter from Bill Calhoun, a Black Conservative Republican and the Chairman of the Texas Federation for Republican Outreach:

Dear Friend,

Often, leaders lead from behind then run to the front when they sense the movement of the people. This is especially true of so many of today's political leaders. Where are the political leaders who have the courage to lead from their convictions?

This week, the President, also known as The First Black President or The FBP, flew to Minnesota, rented an entire hotel to sleep overnight, then got up the next morning, boarded his Big Bad Black Bus aka The BBBB and rode a few miles on The Bus Tour aka as The BT.

However, The BT had no plans to stop in not even 1 "black" neighborhood, even though the FBP was onboard or was that Bill Clinton?

At the same time The BT was taking place, The Congressional Black Caucus aka The "CBC", was on its People's Tour aka The "PT" with plans to stop only in "black" neighborhoods. (Power To The People aka PTTP).

Are you with me so far? Okay!

So, when The PT got to Detroit aka "The Motor City" or MOTOWN for short, lead CBC'er Congresswoman Maxine "Maxie" Waters spoke to The People aka The Peeps. She wanted to get them to give her and the FBP some TLC aka Tender Loving Care.

But, The Peeps were in a foul mood and had no love to give, not to the CBC nor the FBP. Heck, they weren't even sure about this PT thing. They were just in a funk.

Their rent had not been paid, their electricity bills were overdue, and their mortgage had not been modified-- it was time to let the FBP know just how they felt!

However, Congresswoman Maxine "Maxie" Waters felt she could use her extensive speaking skills to calm The Peeps. Surely they still loved The FBP and for that reason, would understand why The CBC had not criticized him, right?

But, The Peeps wanted no part of this Grand Bargain aka as The GB and they felt like telling Congresswoman Maxine "Maxie" Waters where to stick that GB concocted by The CBC and The FBP. Ouch!

So, when Congresswoman Maxine "Maxie Waters finished her grand and eloquent speech, The Peeps had their own thing or two to say.

The moral of this story boys and girls is that The Peeps are always ahead of The Pimps even the Poverty Pimps aka Pee Pees.

Have a happy day!
