Texas Transvestite Teacher Confuses 5th Grade Students at Lumberton ISD – Suspended after Outrage

The small, predominantly Christian community of Lumberton, TX is once again about to hit the national scene. The Lumberton Independent School has suspended a transvestite teacher. There will be a School Board meeting this Thursday night at 7pm where it is expected there will be a large number of outspoken people from both sides who show up to speak during the public comment time. State Board of Education member David Bradly had this to say regarding the upcoming school board decision, “He does not have to be fired as substitutes are not under contract. The district just fails to call him for the next days work.” Furthermore, men who want to dress up as women are not a protected class under the Constitution or state law and therefore the teacher can be fired. Especially in schools, there is broad authority to make decisions based on what the people of the community wants and believes is in the best interest of the vulnerable students of the school district. I suspect the man will try to sue and we will have a trial with national implications.

If the board goes into executive session to privately discuss personnel, some believe that the School Board will also discuss who hired him in the first place and thought it was ok for him to wear a dress in front of 10 year olds who were so distracted that they could not take their tests. Superintendent John Valastro has taken heat in recent years due to high profile issues. In this case, Valastro is not over picking substitute teachers, but he did suspend the teacher following the recent complaints. I have written several articles regarding Lumberton ISD issues, from vulgar school plays with cursing, to CSCOPE, to students wearing Muslim Burqas, to liberal teachers wearing vote Obama shirts and telling students not to watch Fox News. John Griffing’s WND story on the Burqa issue led to national attention and even helped push out CSCOPE curriculum on a statewide level (although it is still around).

Lumberton is a great community and has a great educational environment compared to other public schools. I live here and I personally hate to see the school getting so much negative attention because it is not a reflection of the majority of the teachers and administration. Unfortunately, in order to fix problems and make sure they do not happen again, you have to expose the problems. It is a dirty job but someone has to do it.

I first heard about the issue when my youngest brother came home and told me about the kids talking about a male substitute teacher that was in a different class. This teacher was signing his name as Mrs. I thought that was strange, but I did not realize the extent of what was going on until I heard Chip Darby talking about the issue on freedom 1300. Apparently there was a male teacher wearing a dress and makeup at the Lumberton Intermediate School.

The teacher’s name is Laura Jane Klug (born Kurt Klug). I looked him up on Facebook and what I found was an emotionally disturbed and confused older man. He has not always wanted to be a woman. According to a note he posted on his Facebook page on July 7^th, 2011 titled “How Much More Can I Take?” Kurt Klug was emotionally distraught and seemingly ready to give in with his life because of the pain of his female wife leaving him. The pain and distraught of his wife leaving him must have driven him to decide that he wanted to become a woman. From 2011 until now, Kurt changed his name to Laura Jane Klug and started dressing up like a woman and acting like a woman. He has joined many lesbian, gay and transgender pages on Facebook. Oh, and he also likes Texas Politician Dan Branch’s page.

Let me get one thing straight, I do not hate this man, nor am I angry at him. I feel bad for him. He was so hurt and emotionally distraught that he was driven to wanting a radical change. He seems like he was and maybe still is a Christian, but he is certainly hurting and has lost his way. We all have issues and this is his issue.

That being said, a school house with young, impressionable, easily distracted and easily confused children is not the place for this man to be. The school has very strict dress codes and boys cannot even have long hair. The environment is controlled to minimize distractions so that the students can learn. Like it or not, a transvestite is a distraction. Not only that, he frightened and confused many students who then went home to their parents who had to have age inappropriate conversations with their children.

Roger Beard, whose son was in the class Klug was subbing, is an outspoken parent who talked to the local Channel 12 News about this issue. He said what concerns him is the distraction he believes a transgender teacher poses to ten and eleven year old children.

"If it does affect my child and his ability to learn or if it causes questions that I don't feel are appropriate then undoubtedly there's an issue with having somebody transgender, transsexual or transvestite, to be teaching that age group," Beard said.

Sheli Jones Wells also had a child in the class and she posted this comment on Facebook about the situation, “I did have to explain to my daughter what transgender was last Thursday afternoon because it was her home room class he was in. I was none to happy to venture down that road with my 11 year old. Judge? No. But do I have reservations about WHY this person wants to be in our schools for $60 a day, you better believe it.”

I wanted to hear what others in Lumberton had to say, that is when I took to Facebook to see what I could find out from friends who work at or have students at the Intermediate School.

The response I got was overwhelming.

Hardin County, Texas needs a new face instead of the insider tax and spend group currently in control. Hardin County needs someone who is not afraid to say no to tax increases. Not everyone working for the County needs a new Chevy Tahoe (at the rate they are buying them it seems like they want everyone to have one), and the County should not be giving themselves pay raises by raising taxes on people who are not getting pay raises.

Fact: Hardin County is not financially transparent. None of their records are in digital formal for taxpayers to be able to look through the finances.

Why I am Running For County Judge: Letter to the People of Hardin County

After spending many months in deep thought and prayer, I have decided to run to be your next County Judge of Hardin County now that Judge Billy Caraway has decided to retire.

I do not want you to consider voting for me because you like my signs or because someone you know told you to vote for me. I want you to really know me. I want you to know my heart. The most important thing you can know about me is that I believe in Jesus as my Lord and Savior and I put God first in my life.

As Judge, I will serve you with unwavering conservative values that will drive me to be an advocate against wasteful spending so that we can keep taxes from going up. I want you to know that I will strive for transparency in government because the people have a right to know what is going on behind the scenes.   I am a strong defender of our Constitutional rights. I am unapologetically pro-2^nd-amendment and pro-life.

Before I get into the issues facing Hardin County, let me introduce myself and my background.

My wife Courtney and I are residents of Hardin County and Lumberton.  We have one child, Michael, and next to God, my family is my number one priority in life.

My brothers and I operate a successful small business, Eden Pro Services, and the company serves customers from Lumberton to College Station and employs several people.

After graduating from Lumberton High School, I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from Texas A&M University and a Master’s Degree in Theological Studies from Liberty University.

After college, I joined the military, rose up the ranks from Private to Sergeant, and was honored as “Soldier of the Year” twice. I became a law enforcement officer because I wanted to protect the community, graduating with honors from the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center. I worked my way up to be a Senior Officer and have always looked for ways to change policy to increase efficiency and better protect my fellow officers.

I am a lifelong Republican because I have always known that the conservative values of the Republican Party were the values I believe in. Long before Obama was elected I was working to promote conservative values and help Republican candidates win. My Christian, conservative foundation gives me the passion and desire to serve you and to work with you and the other elected officials to keep Hardin County an amazing place to live, work, and raise a family.

Hardin County is facing big challenges. The County has been spending more than it brings in. From October 2011 to October 2013 the County Spent $1.98 MILLION more than it brought in. Hardin County recently approved the budget for Oct 2013 to Oct 2014. In the new budget, the County wants a tax increase and more deficit spending of $1.04 MILLION.

This deficit spending is unsustainable and must be addressed now instead of just being pushed down the road. The go-along, get-along politicians don’t understand that this is taxpayer money and deficit spending is something that goes on in Washington, but should not happen here.

I will make the tough decisions based on solid conservative principles and with the best interest of the community in mind. I will work with the leaders and residents of Hardin County to cut the budget and to find ways to increase revenue such as attracting new industry and jobs to the County.

I was previously elected to be on the board that runs the Republican Party organization for the entire State of Texas. I helped manage and govern the multi-million dollar budget for the State Party. When I got on the board, the Republican Party was facing massive debt.

While on the board, I was part of the Republican leadership that bought the Party out of debt and into a surplus. From starting a small business to helping lead the statewide party out of debt and into a surplus, I am uniquely qualified to step in and help lift Hardin County out of the current financial crisis. I will fight to keep your taxes from going up.

We have such a great future ahead of us. Hardin County does not need the same gang of free-spending courthouse crony leaders to just continue to push the problems down the road. Hardin County needs new, forward-looking leaders to take on these problems and bring new ideas based on strong conservative principles.

Hardin County is our home. I am a lifelong resident of Lumberton, TX. Even through college and military service, I stayed VERY involved in Hardin County.

When the Kountze Cheerleaders had their religious rights attacked, I got involved and stood up for the constitutional rights of these innocent students.

When Obama signed Obamacare, I filed one of the first lawsuits against Obamacare in order to stop the unconstitutional mandate form being imposed on us all.

When Lumberton ISD was trying to pass a bond that was not completely needed and would have raised taxes 24% in a recession, I stood up and fought back and defeated the tax hike. I am completely for our kids and making our schools better, but a new school on 421 would not have provided better education and would have taken too much money away from families. LISD developed a better plan after the bond failed and the schools are doing great.

Speaking of schools, I stood with the majority of teachers and parents in Lumberton and in the area who did not like or want CSCOPE curriculum. This secretive, expensive curriculum made a mockery of our values. One lesson even referred to the Boston Tea Party patriots as terrorists. I helped defeat the curriculum statewide.

Many years ago, I wanted to promote patriotism and wanted to help out the American Legion in Lumberton. I went to them with an idea to raise money and promote patriotism at the same time. The idea was to line the streets in Lumberton with full size American flags and business would donate money each year to the project and the profits would go to the American Legion. The fundraiser was a success and happens every year in Lumberton. The Legion and the Boy Scouts do a great job of lining the streets with flags!

I want a better future for my wife and son. I grew up in a large family here. I mowed yards as a kid to make money and learned the value of hard work. My parents brought me up in Christ and taught me great family values.

I felt the horrible effects and devastation of the Hurricane Rita in 2005. I, like many others, lost everything. I had to leave college to help rebuild. My job was gone and the small business I started creating positive Christian youth events was destroyed.

I was young and bankrupt. I did not give up though. Falling to the bottom gave me the best lesson I have ever had. It made me strive to be better and smarter. It made me strive to be more fiscally conservative. I rose up and finished college and started a business. I served in the military and law enforcement and was an EMT. I got more involved in helping others because I know how it feels to not have anything. I decided to live a life of service to others. I especially want to make sure that the government starts being more fiscally conservative, does not overspend, and stops raising taxes on the already overtaxed people who might be struggling like I once did after Hurricane Rita.

After posting this article, one of the County Commissioners contacted me today and said that Hardin County was making good financial decisions because they cleared their audit. BISD passed their audit. Does that mean Beaumont ISD's finances are good? NO. They have had multiple people stealing millions of dollars and have made very liberal tax and spend decisions. Passing an audit just means that no one is stealing money and the county has paid the bills (based on the records provided to the auditor). Passing an audit does NOT mean that fiscally conservative decisions are being made. Passing an audit does not mean that it was wise to spent a million on a dome that looks pretty and you vote in. Passing an audit does not mean that raising taxes on people is good. The commissioner also told me that the county was transparent because they posted the budget and audit online. That is not transparent. Those two things show very little. They just show the overall numbers but no one can really look into the breakdown of the finances. I can go to Lumberton ISD or the City of Lumberton and get a cd with all the daily financial transactions. Hardin County does not offer that level of transparency.  If you wanted to see all the financial transactions for the county you would have to pay the county to print out thousands of pages.

Dan Patrick to Debate Julian Castro - Super Conservative vs Super Liberal - EPIC Texas Style Showdown

I recently posted an article about Democrat San Antonio Mayor Julian Castro bashing Conservative Texas LT Governor Candidate Dan Patrick.

I called the attack against Patrick a badge of honor because anytime a conservative is attacked publicly by a liberal then it means the conservative is doing something good! It really means you are doing something for the conservative cause because Castro is a national Democrat star and a friend of Obama.

Well, after this little episode, Dan Patrick challenged Julian Castro to a debate. Patrick told Castro that talk is cheap and that he will go to San Antonio any day or time to debate the issue of illegal immigration.

This could be epic! Dan Patrick is a staunch conservative. Patrick is one of the most conservative State Senators and is known for being very outspoken. Castro is also the same way, except instead of being an outspoken conservative star, Castro is an outspoken Liberal star.

Well, the great news is that Julian Castro accepted! There is not date or time set yes, but I will post the date and time when it becomes available.

Board declares NSA data sweep illegal, says program should be ended

An independent board tasked with reviewing National Security Agency surveillance called Thursday for the government to end its mass data collection program and "purge" its files, declaring the program illegal in a major challenge to President Obama. 

The president did not go nearly as far when he called last week for ending government control of phone data collected from hundreds of millions of Americans. In its report, obtained by Fox News and scheduled for release Thursday afternoon, The Privacy and Civil Liberties Oversight Board (PCLOB) said the program ran afoul of the law on several fronts. 

"The ... bulk telephone records program lacks a viable legal foundation," the board's report said, adding that it raises "serious threats to privacy and civil liberties" and has "only limited value." 

"As a result, the Board recommends that the government end the program," the panel wrote. 

It remains to be seen whether Obama will accept all or part of the recommendations, but the findings could nevertheless be used as leverage in federal lawsuits against NSA spying. 

The report concluded that the NSA collection raises "constitutional concerns" with regard to U.S. citizens' rights of speech, association and privacy. 

"The connections revealed by the extensive database of telephone records gathered under the program will necessarily include relationships established among individuals and groups for political, religious, and other expressive purposes," it said. "Compelled disclosure to the government of information revealing these associations can have a chilling effect on the exercise of First Amendment rights." 

The panel added that the program "implicates constitutional concerns under the First and Fourth Amendments."

Obama’s Friend Julian Castro Attacks Dan Patrick – Patrick Gets Conservative Badge of Honor

As a conservative, it is considered a badge of honor when a high profile liberal attacks you. As a conservative, if you are doing something right you will be attacked by liberals and Democrats.

Dan Patrick must be doing something right then. Dan Patrick is running for Texas Lieutenant Governor. Patrick has been publicly attacked by one of Obama’s friends. A national Democrat rising star. A staunch liberal. San Antonio Mayor Julian Castro.

I learned about the attack against Patrick from Facebook. A friend of mine shared Dan Patrick’s Facebook status photo (see photo above).

Congratulations Dan Patrick, you have been attacked by Julian Castro. You must really be doing something right. The liberals are afraid of you. They know you will not back down if you win your race, and that means they do not want you to win.

I do not consider an attack from a liberal as a negative thing. I consider it a badge of honor for a conservative to be making liberals so mad that they publicly attack you.

I am sure that Castro does not like Patrick because Dan Patrick was rated as the most conservative Texas State Senator this year.

This attack from Castro appears to have be a result of Patrick’s strong stance on securing the Texas/Mexico border. Conservatives believe in LEGAL immigration so that people can come make a better life for themselves. On the other hand, conservatives also believe in securing the borders from sex trafficking, and drug smuggling, and gun smuggling, and illegal immigration. A good portion of illegal immigrants who sneak over are violent criminals. Castro and Obama know that these illegals who are criminals will likely vote Democrat in order to be able to get more government benefits and milk the system that hard working taxpayers pay into. By opposing illegal immigration and wanting to secure the border, Patrick has made Castro mad because Castro will have less people who can vote for him.

Hispanics do not believe in illegal immigration.  I know many legal immigrants from Mexico. They worked to become American and they pay taxes. They feel betrayed that they had to work to become a citizen, but many criminals have come over illegally and commit crimes and give all immigrants a bad name. Immigration is not the problem. Hispanics are not the problem. Illegal Immigration is the problem because a big part of illegal immigration involves criminal activity and trafficking. We must protect our borders and Dan Patrick will do that.

Texas Sen. Ted Cruz has had the best year of any Republican and virtually anyone in the world, ranking third in Rasmussen Report’s new poll of the of the “most influential” people in the world, behind Pope Francis and President Obama.

In the new poll, Cruz, who made headlines for trying to dismantle Obamacare, was the pick for the most influential of 11 percent. The pope was tops at 23 percent, Obama second at 21 percent.

Among Republicans, Cruz was second behind the pope, with 19 percent calling the freshman senator and Tea Party leader the world’s most influential leader. Just 9 percent of Republicans said the same thing of Obama.

Melanie Flowers in Texas 247th judicial race Voted for OBAMA and Donated to pro Abortion Democrats

Information has surfaced regarding Melanie Flowers voting for Barack Hussein Obama and donating to one of the most pro-abortion, Democrat Texas State Representatives, Ron Reynolds. Flowers has been circulating a statement defending her decision to vote for the most anti-American and lawless president in American history as justified by virtue of a “historic moment.” 

In an email forwarded to me on 12/14/2013, Melanie Flowers volunteered an explanation of this decision, saying, “My Republican voting history is the strongest and longest of anyone in this race.  With that said many of our most honored Republican leaders would never have held office if we condemned each one that ever voted in a democratic primary.”  Flowers then went on to list various Republican office-holders who have voted Democrat at one point in their lives, going so far as to name Rick Perry.

Problematically, however, her defense is not logically sound, since those Republicans who at one time voted Democrat, usually switched many years ago and spent the rest of their professional existence voting Republican and never looking back. 

Republicans become Republican because of what amounts to an ideological conversion experience, wherein they realize every message and claim proffered by the other party is either false or misguided – usually both.

If what Flowers claims about her Republican credentials is accurate, then it is even more concerning that she could whimsically abandon her alleged principles, knowing what the other side stands for, simply to take part in a vote for something other than 'the content of one's character' – the core of what most mean when they utter the “historic moment” defense. 

Many momentous events are “historic,” and many of these same events are quite unsavory.  There is nothing excusable about abandoning reason and principle to participate in a popularity contest. 

Judges must have a temperament that is levelheaded and uneasily swayed by emotional pleas, genuine or manufactured.  Voting for Barack Obama (despite everything that was known about his background and publicly available with even a modicum of basic research skills) demonstrates poor judgment or even a complete lack of judgment. 

The facts suggest that Flowers's Democrat liaisons go far deeper than simply one impassioned vote for a maniacal community organizer.  Flowers donated to three separate Democrat candidates as recently as 2010 and one of these candidates is the notorious Ron Reynolds.  Reynolds is a State Rep. who was seen waving a coat hanger in Austin in support of Wendy Davis's pro-abortion spectacle and whose rabid leftist views would discourage many authentic conservative Republicans from even being seen in public places in their company.  A Biblical principle may address the issue more effectively than mere logic:  “Avoid even the very appearance of evil.” 

Would someone with good judgment even contribute a penny to a man who thinks it fine to wave coat hangers in support of being allowed to kill the unborn a few extra weeks?  Common sense provides the self-evident answer.

Ted Cruz Bill calls for 5 Million dollar Bounty on Heads of Benghazi Terrorists

Now we are talking. If this bill from Texas US Senator Ted Cruz passes, we might actually catch the terrorists who attacked the American Embassy in Benghazi, Libya. The United States of America frequently announces million dollar rewards for all kinds of wanted criminals. The most recent reward was created for information leading to the capture of a Mexican Drug Lord. These million dollar rewards work because, well, people like money and will give up information they know for money. So why has the United States NOT already put out a reward for information leading to the capture of the Benghazi terrorists? It is almost as if the Obama administration does not want to find the terrorists because it would expose even more about the botched ""anti Muslim video" cover-up by Obama's administration. "The State Department's Rewards for Justice Program exists to help the U.S. identify and apprehend its enemies, but the Obama Administration has not used it to pursue the terrorists who attacked our personnel in Benghazi," Cruz said. "This legislation enables the Secretary of State to offer a substantial reward for information leading to the apprehension and prosecution of the suspects who have been identified. U.S. investigators should have all available tools at their disposal to bring to justice those who murdered four Americans in Benghazi, including the first Ambassador killed in service since 1979."

The Rewards for Justice program has been a visible and successful element in the ongoing battle against terrorism. Since 1984, over $125 million has been distributed to more than 80 people.

To date, there has been no reward offered for the Benghazi terrorist suspects under the Rewards for Justice Program. Earlier this week, the State Department announced that they are giving out up to $5 million in exchange for info on drug lords. They did this without any new authorizing or appropriating legislation.

Last year, then-Senator Kerry and Senator Coons offered similar legislation to expand the Rewards for Justice program to help capture Joseph Kony. This bill passed the Senate unanimously and was enacted into law last year.

Houston Chronicle Editor Tim Fleck Attacks Texas Congressman Stockman after Stockman Calls for Investigation into Obama's White House Scandals

You know a conservative leader is doing the right thing when the liberal media attacks him/her. Well, Texas Congressman Steve Stockman is certainly doing the right thing because he has the liberal media attacking him on a daily basis. The next attack is expected to come from Tim Fleck of the Houston Chronicle. Fleck is a liberal editor who used to work for the Houston Press. Fleck takes his bias up a notch above most liberal media though because Fleck, on top of just writing negative articles about Stockman, has also tried to sue Congressman Stockman in the past and has even been accused of breaking into Stockman's home. Apparently, Fleck is not happy about the most recent press release from Congressman Stockman. See press release below after Stockman's statement regarding Fleck.

The Houston Chronicle will run the ambush story Sunday that will
misrepresent a recent error made by staffers and make personal attacks against Congressman Stockman.

Two weeks ago Congressman found out two staffers in his congressional office made
contributions not allowed under FEC rules.  As soon he I found out the
contributions were refunded and corrective action taken.

They obeyed the law.  That’s the story.

That is why the Chronicle will try to fluff it up by making other

its editorial board. Fleck has been obsessed with Congressman Stockman since June 1996, when he forced his way into his home and verbally abused campaign volunteers until sheriff’s deputies were called. Now he using the Houston Chronicle for his personally crusade. 

He has since sued Stockman unsuccessfully, and apparently cannot let it go.

Fleck once picked up a coral snake and was surprised when it bit him
and he had to go to the hospital, so he’s not the kind who learns
quickly.

He has written obsessively about Congressman Stockman for 17 years and is now using his position at the Chronicle to continue his obsession by having four different reporters follow Congressman Stockman's and his staff, even watching Congressman Stockman take out his household trash.

One of the reasons Americans are abandoning newspapers in droves is the fact they now try to put journalistic lipstick on a partisan-slanted pig.  The Chronicle’s hiring of Fleck and the upcoming personal attack are why growing numbers of Houstonians don't believe what they read in the paper.

Stockman gives Obama impeachment book to every Congressional office, calls for full congressional investigations, prosecution of the White House

WASHINGTON -- Congressman Steve Stockman distributed to all members of Congress this month copies of “Impeachable Offenses: The Case For Removing Barack Obama From Office.”

“I hope this book helps convince my colleagues to hold Barack Obama legally responsible for his disregard for the law.  When told of his offense, Obama sought to cover them up rather than accept responsibility and correct the mistakes,” said Stockman.

Stockman is the sponsor of H.Res. 306, which would force a vote on establishing a Select Committee with full subpoena power to investigate the Sept. 11, 2012 terrorist attacks on Benghazi.

“Impeachment should only be a rare and last resort, but the book provides important details on the Obama administration’s offenses against office,” said Stockman.

“From Benghazi to Fast and Furious to crony deals for ‘green’ energy to Obamacare the lawless Obama administration must be reined in.  I am calling on Congress to establishment Select Committees on these scandals with full subpoena power,” said Stockman.

“We’ve seen how the Obama administration smears and defames their critics.  Congress should investigate these scandals and turn the matters over to special prosecutors,” said Stockman.

Black unemployment still higher than any month under Bush

WASHINGTON - The nation's economy continues to flounder and full recovery appears even further away, according to an objective mathematical measurement of the nation's economic indicators released Tuesday by Congressman Steve Stockman (R-Texas 36.)

The economy continues to fail to recover under Obama as Obama Failometer Score stood at 1,173 last month. This is the fourth-worst Obama's Failometer score this year.

Obama can set the Failometer to zero simply by outperforming George W. Bush on the economy and fulfilling his 2008 and 2012 campaign promises to help blacks and Hispanics gain economically.

"ObamaCare is sand in the gears of our economy.  Job growth slumped 12 percent in one month and black unemployment is still near record highs," said Stockman "Our economy won't recover until we replace Obama's failed policies."

"Under Democrats misery is becoming the new normal.  We can do better."

The Obama Failometer uses a fixed mathematical score to calculate four economic indicators from the Bureau of Labor Statistics.  The figures from the monthly reports are weighted to provide a balanced total score, which ranges from zero to 1,000. A score of 0 represent economic stability and racial equality. The higher the score, the deeper the economic failure.

So far, Obama is worse than Bush.

Since its creation Obama has failed to generate a Failometer score that can be contained within the chart's range of zero to 1000.

The Obama Failometer Score was originally displayed on a ten-foot-long billboard displayed in the hallways of the Capitol's Cannon House Office building.  House officials ordered it torn down in January after Democrats complained.

Here is how the Obama Failometer Score is calculated:

FACTORS MEASURED AGAINST BUSH

Monthly jobs created: The Hamilton Project, a liberal economic policy group, stated last year the economy must create 321,000 jobs a month in order to return the economy to pre-recession employment levels by December 2016, the end of Obama's term.

As the economy continues to flounder under Obama that number has grown, but the Obama Failometer will continue to use it, which gives him some statistical relief.

Obama promised to not only restore the economy to where it was under Bush, but grow it.  So far Obama has failed to even perform as well as Bush.

This Obama Failometer score portion is calculated by subtracting the number of jobs created in the previous month from the 321,000 jobs claimed necessary by the liberal Hamilton Project and dividing by 1,000 to balance it against other factors.

The BLS reports the economy created only 148,000 jobs last month, 173,000 fewer than needed to restore the economy.  This portion of the Obama Failometer Score is 173.

Civilian labor force participation rate:  The civilian labor force participation rate, the ratio between those 16 and over in the labor force against the national population of those 16 and over, is an important measure of economic health.  After puttering along during the Bush administration, including through the "Bush years" of the recession, under Obama it has plunged sharply.

This Obama Failometer score portion is calculated by subtracting the monthly civilian labor force participation rate from the average Bush administration rate and multiplying by 100 to balance it against other factors. According to data from the BLS, under Bush the average monthly civilian labor force participation rate was around 66.2 percent.

The Bureau of Labor Statistics reports the monthly civilian labor force participation rate last month stood at 63.2 percent, the worst rate since August 1978 and 3.0 percent worse than Bush's average of 66.2 percent.  This portion of the Obama Failometer Score is 300.


FACTORS MEASURED AGAINST OBAMA'S OWN RHETORIC

Black unemployment:  No one has suffered more economically under Obama than black Americans. Obama's election and re-election has meant crippling poverty for the black community.

This Obama Failometer score portion is calculated by taking the monthly unemployment rate for blacks and subtracting the monthly unemployment rate for all Americans, and multiplying it by 100 to balance it against other factors.

The Bureau of Labor Statistics reports the black unemployment rate last month was 12.9 percent, while the national overall rate was 7.2 percent.  That is a gap of 5.7 percent. This portion of the Obama Failometer Score is 570.

Compare Obama's performance to Bush's.  The highest monthly unemployment rate ever for blacks under Bush was 12.1 percent.  Obama's lowest rate is now 12.6 percent in Jul.  He has never performed as well as Bush's worst black unemployment rate.

Bush's average black unemployment rate was 9.7 percent and an overall national average of 5.2 percent, a 4.5 percent gap that gives Bush a score of 450.

Hispanic unemployment:  Despite winning the Hispanic vote, Obama's liberal policies have caused widespread damage to the Hispanic community.  Thanks to Obama, they continue to lag behind the national average in many economic factors.

This Obama Failometer score portion is calculated by taking the monthly unemployment rate for Hispanics and subtracting the monthly unemployment rate for all Americans, and multiplying it by 100 to balance it against other factors.

The Bureau of Labor Statistics reports the Hispanic unemployment rate last month grew to a stunning 8.5 percent, while the national overall rate was 7.2 percent.  That is a gap of 1.3 percent.  This portion of the Obama Failometer Score is 130.

The Hispanic unemployment rate hit its all-time historic low of 4.7 percent during Bush's last term.  It is almost twice that rate under Obama.

THEREFORE, THIS MONTH'S OBAMA FAILOMETER SCORE IS 1,173.

Federal Workers Offended by Obama's Partisan/Misleading Email Sent to All Government Work Inboxes Blaming House of Representatives for Shutdown

Crossing the line? President Obama sent a partisan/non-factual email to all Federal employees blaming the Republican controlled House of Representatives for the shutdown and claiming that the Senate and the President have nothing to do with the government shutdown. (see Obama's email below)

Federal Workers are not allowed to send partisan/political emails to other government workers using their government email accounts while they are on duty. They do not expect to read any partisan emails either, especially from the government. The government leaders understand this and anything that is sent out is typically always non controversial and non-partisan. That was not the case this week. Imagine the surprise that many federal workers got when they clocked into work and got a partisan email from President Obama blaming the House of Representatives for the Shutdown and claiming that the Senate and President had nothing to do with the shutdown. The email made no mention that it takes three to shutdown the government. The House and Senate and President all have to agree on a budget in order to keep the government going. The shutdown is just as much the Senate's fault for not approving what the House passed as it is the House's fault for not approving what the Senate passed. If you read the email from President Obama you would think that it is only the fault of the House of Representatives because they are not going along with the good plan from the Senate. Oh, and the email made no mention of the threats to veto the House bill. Yes, as much as the President denied his role in this shutdown in the email to all federal workers, the shutdown is just as much his fault because he has threatened to veto everything the House has offered. Also there was no mention of the fact that he, and not Congress, made the decision to shut down the WWII memorial from even allowing veterans to visit it. This memorial does not even need to be "funded" in order to allow people to freely walk to it and look at it.

Below are some of the most outrageous, partisan quotes that Obama sent in a letter to all federal workers via their government work email inboxes: (my comments are in red)

"This shutdown was completely preventable. It should not have happened. And the House of Representatives can end it as soon as it follows the Senate's lead, and funds your work in the United States Government without trying to attach highly controversial and partisan measures in the process." (the Senate and President can also end it as soon as they follow the House's lead. The President forgot to mention that)

"I will continue to do everything in my power to get the House of Representatives to allow our Government to reopen as quickly as possible, and make sure you receive the pay that you have earned." (Ah yes, it is only the House that is not allowing the government to keep running. So the Senate and President have nothing to do with it?)

"more than 50 current or former Federal employees have received the Nobel Prize for their efforts." (Not sure how this has anything to do with the Shutdown, but they also gave war starting Obama the Nobel Peace Prize, so really how credible is one of those awards nowadays?)

"It was grants from the Department of Energy that helped businesses unlock new sources of renewable energy" (like the money given to Solyndra the solar panel company that took taxpayer money and went bankrupt while the executives of the company made millions?)

After receiving a tip, I have confirmed that Convicted Child Sex Offender Billy Johnson is the President of the University of Texas-Pan American Young Democrats and is helping to register voters for Battleground Texas. Battleground Texas is an organization created by Barack Obama's political machine to try to turn Texas into a blue, Democrat state. You heard me right, a convicted child sex offender (indecency with 8 year old girl) is wandering around to random young people, even in areas with children. When Battleground Texas or a Democrat organization approaches you, as the bed intruder guy says, "Hide your kids."

There is no denying that, based on the photo evidence below, Billy Johnson and his UTPA Young Democrat Organization is helping and working with Battleground Texas to register voters.

It was first discovered that Billy Johnson was working with Battleground Texas when the UTPA Young Democrat club posted the above picture on their UTPAYD Facebook page with the caption “The Young Democrats at UTPA teamed up with Battleground Texas to register people to vote. As we can see it was successful with the number of voter registration cards held up. It was a team effort. Way to go!! — with Jessica Rios, Blanca Paras, Billy Johnson, Gustavo Alejandro Grajales and Daniel Ryne Lucio.”

The picture seems to have been removed from the YD’s Facebook group already. Thankfully we still have the picture because it was re-posted on the Facebook page of UTPA Confessions, along with a link to the TDCJ website showing information about Johnson’s conviction.

What is even worse is that Battleground Texas and the Young Democrats KNOW that this man is a convicted child sex offender. This is not something that is a secret. Anyone who knows the man knows he was convicted and they seem to be ok with it. They know about his conviction because this is not the first time he was publicly called out for doing something that a convicted child sex offender probably should not be doing. Back in 2010 he caused a stir in the local media when parents found out that Billy Johnson, a convicted child sex offender, was volunteering and working around their kids at a local school. Johnson seemed to justify working at the school by telling the news that he had an escort with him in the school and he also said that his conviction did not come with restrictions preventing him from being near a school. That excuse certainly did not make parents feel any better.

San Antonio Mayor Julian Castro and Rep. Joaquin Castro are helping to get Battleground Texas started up. They headlined a kickoff fundraiser back in march. Julian Castro himself is under fire. San Antonio Conservative Weston Martinez is helping to circulate a recall petition to remove Julian Castro. Castro is facing the potential recall after he tried to push through an ordinance that would allow man to use a woman's bathroom, setting up the potential for more opportunity for sexual assaults. The ordinance would also have punished and discriminated against Christians just because they do not believe in homosexual marriage. Knowing that Castro tried to push through that ordinance, maybe is it not all that far-fetched that he would be ok with a child sex offender helping out Battleground Texas and going around meeting random young people and registering voters.

Police arrest one suspect, seek another after World War II veteran dies following parking lot beating

A suspect in the brutal beating of a World War II veteran who later died from his injuries has been arrested, as police in Spokane, Washington continue to search for a second attacker.
Police confirmed that a 16-year-old had been charged with first degree robbery and first degree murder in the Wednesday parking lot attack.
They said they were still looking for a second 16-year-old suspect, Kenan Adams-Kinard.
The Spokane Police Department said in a press release officers responded to reports of an assault Wednesday and found the victim, 88-year-old Delbert Belton, in his car with serious head injuries. He died Thursday in the hospital.
Friends identified Belton, and say he was sitting outside a lodge for the Fraternal Order of the Eagles when he was attacked.

Allen West: Will Obama Identify with Black Teens Who Killed White Boy for Fun?

On the heels of news that three Oklahoma teens allegedly shot and killed an Australian jogger for sport, former Florida Republican Rep. Allen West lashed out at President Obama and the “race industry crew.”
“‘We were bored & decided to kill somebody.’ 3 black teens shoot white jogger.Who will POTUS identify w/this time?” West tweeted Tuesday afternoon with a link to a New York Post article on the matter.

Following the acquittal of shooter George Zimmerman for the murder of Florida teen Trayvon Martin, Obama said that Martin ”could have been me 35 years ago.” Earlier, Obama had said that if he had a son, “he’d look like Trayvon.”
West cast a wider net on Facebook.
“[S]hall we hear anything from the race industry crew, Hollywood elites, or maybe Oprah Winfrey? The issue is not about proliferation of guns in America. This is about a failing black community and the fact that its young men are desensitized to violence because a gangsta culture promotes it,” West wrote on Facebook, reiterating his Twitter question. “So who will President Obama identify with in this case?”
Chancey Allen Luna, 16, and James Francis Edwards Jr., 15, have been charged with first-degree murder in the Friday shooting death of Australian baseball player Chris Lane in Duncan, Oklahoma. Michael Dewayne Jones, 17, is being charged with the use of a vehicle in the discharge of a weapon and accessory after the fact to murder.
Jones told police that the teens killed Lane “for the fun of it” and because they “were bored and decided to kill somebody.”

O’Reilly Tears Into Obama’s Race Speech: President Has ‘No Clue’ How To Combat ‘Gangsta Culture’

Bill O’Reilly opened his show Monday night by examining President Obama‘s Friday afternoon speech on race and the Trayvon Martin case. O’Reilly began by saying Obama was “correct in addressing the race issue” but then proceeded to hammer the president for failing to address the “real” problems facing the African-American community.
“The sad truth is that from the president on down, our leadership has no clue, no clue at all about how to solve problems within the black community,” O’Reilly said. “And many are frightened to even broach the issue. That’s because race hustlers and the grievance industry have intimidated the so-called ‘conversation,’ turning any valid criticism of African-American culture into charges of racial bias.” He said it’s these attitudes that have forced African-Americans to “fend for themselves in violent neighborhoods.”
Coming back to Trayvon Martin specifically, O’Reilly said there is only evidence that George Zimmerman “profiled” the 17-year-old because he was “dressed in clothing sometimes used by street criminals”–not his skin color. “It was wrong for Zimmerman to confront Martin based on his appearance,” he said. “But the culture that we have in this country does lead to criminal profiling because young black American men are so often involved in crime.”
This led O’Reilly to pinpoint the primary cause of these statistics: “The disintegration of the African-American family.” More than anything else, he chalked up black crime to the fact that “73% of all black babies are born out of wedlock,” a problem that he said Obama and other civil rights leaders refuse to address. He also pointed fingers at the entertainment industry, and particularly “gangsta culture,” for “encouraging irresponsibility” and “glorifying bad behavior.”
