READ 2012 Republican Party Platform HERE: STRONG on Social Issues Like Abortion & Marriage

Read the PDF version of the 2012 Republican Party Platform HERE http://www.gop.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/08/2012GOPPlatform.pdf or read the entire platform below:

I suppose while the moderates were trying to sneak in rule changes, they allowed the new platform to be made that is VERY conservative, especially on social issues. Also, contrary to the mainstream media, Republicans still overwhelmingly believe that murdering a young life is still wrong, even in the tragic situation of rape. Two wrongs to not make a right!

According to Phyllis Schlafly, the new 2012 Republican Party National Platform is very good. It is very Pro Life and Pro Traditional Marriage.

According to One News Now, the GOP Platform wants to end Obama's 'social experimentation' on military soldiers. A coalition of 15 pro-military organizations working to preserve the conservative culture of the military is pleased with the Republican platform's stance on social issues in the military.

Below is the official statement about the new 2012 Platform from the Republican Party via www.GOP.com:

RNC Releases 2012 Republican Party Platform

WASHINGTON – Today, the delegates of the 2012 RNC Convention formalized the 2012 Republican Party Platform, which is the definitive statement of the Republican Party’s principles and ideals. The document is a culmination of work done by the Committee on Resolutions and 111 delegates from every state and territory. A special thank you goes out to the entire Committee on Resolutions, especially the Chairman, Governor Bob McDonnell and Co-Chairmen, Congressman Marsha Blackburn (TN-7) and North Dakota Senator John Hoeven, for their hard work and dedication.

The all-inclusive platform drafting process contained contributions from over 30,000 people from around the country through social media including the party’s own www.gopplatform2012.com website and @GOPPlatform2012 Twitter account. The process was one of the most open and united as we’ve seen in recent memory as delegates from Mitt Romney, Rick Santorum, Newt Gingrich, and Ron Paul gathered to discuss how the party would move forward. For the first time, the Committee included a section recognizing the importance of the Constitution.

The 2012 Republican Party Platform has a strong focus on the issues impacting Americans each and every day from the economy, to jobs, and spending. It also includes a dedication to protecting Medicare for seniors while strengthening it for future generations, the GOP’s strong commitment to valuing every human life, and the recognition of traditional marriage between one man and one woman. The platform also affirms the Republican Party’s commitment to veterans, a strong national defense, and defense of Israel.

A copy of the 2012 Republican Party Platform can be viewed here. (http://www.gop.com/2012-republican-platform_home/)

“Our platform represents a party that is unified and dedicated to the most important issues of our day: getting the economy back on track and restoring fiscal responsibility,” said RNC Chairman Reince Priebus. “Americans are hurting all over this country because of President Obama’s failed polices and broken promises that have made it harder for job creators to grow their businesses and hire new workers. We’ve also reaffirmed that we’re a party of life, traditional values, a strong national defense, and a reverence for the rights and liberties granted by our creator and laid out by our Founders in the Constitution.”

“I am greatly appreciative of the hard work and dedication to core principles of the members of the platform committee,” said Governor Bob McDonnell. “Our party understands the importance of a strong national defense to protect the liberty we cherish at home and abroad. We also know as a party how crucial it is for America to become energy independent so we won’t be beholden to foreign powers for our energy needs. Our platform reflects the need to explore new energy in this country and pursue an all of the above energy policy.”

“The platform we developed represents the inclusiveness of our party and reaffirms the idea that we are the ‘Big Tent Party,’” said Congressman Marsha Blackburn. “We received input from thousands of people, groups, and leaders in our party to develop a platform that represents the issues we care about and values we hold dear. I am pleased that we were able to work together as one party to kick-off our convention in a meaningful way. We are unified as a party and ready to elect the Romney-Ryan ticket this November.”

“Our party’s platform reaffirms a commitment to getting our spending under control and restoring fiscal responsibility,” said Senator John Hoeven. “Governor Romney and Congressman Ryan understand that we need to get our economy growing and our people back to work, and they have a plan to do it. They know that our best days are still ahead and believe in empowering the American people to create a brighter future for ourselves and our children.”

The hard work of the Committee on Resolutions has kicked-off our 2012 RNC Convention in a meaningful way that has set a good example for the rest of the convention to follow. Our party will continue to work to prepare our organization to build the momentum necessary to elect America’s Comeback Team this November.

Over 35 Soldiers Victimized in TX: Dozens of Cars Vandalized/Stolen at Houston Army National Guard Armory

7/25/2012
By David Bellow

Over 35 vehicles belonging to U.S. Soldiers were stolen or vandalized this past week at the Army National Guard Armory on Westheimer Parkway in Houston, TX

I encourage the local media to bring attention to this targeting of Texas Soldiers so that the thugs who are doing this will be brought to justice.

Help Us Catch the Thugs!

Over the last 2 weeks, myself and hundreds of Houston area Texas Army National Guard Soldiers drove nearly 1000 miles one way in a military vehicle convoy to get to Dona Ana Camp in New Mexico (just north of El Paso, TX). It was our Annual Training. The Battalion that I am a Sergeant in, HHB 1/133rd FA, is a Field Artillery Unit. We camped out in the desert for 11 days and part of our Battalion mission was to shoot three thousand 105mm rounds into a nearby mountainside.

While we were away training, thugs vandalized and/or stole at least 35 vehicles belonging to my fellow U.S. soldiers at the Houston, TX Armory on Westheimer Parkway. Many of these soldiers have deployed to Iraq and/or Afghanistan multiple times. Thankfully, the armory that I was parked at on W. Rankin Road in North Houston was not hit by these thugs.

This is not the first time that this has happened either. This has happened in the past in Houston, TX while soldiers were away for annual training. This is troubling because it means that this is not a random event and there is a group of thugs who are specifically targeting U.S. Soldiers in Houston, TX. This group knows that National Guard Soldiers go away for 2 weeks every summer for annual training. They know that the vehicles of training soldiers will be in the parking lot for 2 weeks. They find out when the annual training is and they victimize U.S. soldiers once they leave for annual training.

This is despicable.

I encourage anyone with knowledge of who did this to please call the local authorities.

I encourage the local media to bring attention to this targeting of Texas Soldiers so that the thugs who are doing this will be brought to justice.

Media Protecting Obama - 2x More Soldiers Killed in Afghanistan under Obama than 8 years of Bush - No Outrage

There have been 1954 U.S. soldiers killed so far in the Afghanistan war according to icasualties

1324 of those Deaths have occurred in less than 3 1/2 years under Obama while only 630 of those deaths occurred in 8 years under George W. Bush

WHY NO MEDIA OUTRAGE?

I remember when Bush was President the Liberal Media stations and news outlets had daily updates of the number of U.S. Soldiers killed with pictures and everything. Now It is almost hard to find out how many soldiers are dying every day because when a soldier dies now it is not on the front page or sometimes not even reported at all.

I am not going to get into any discussions of whether or not wars are right or wrong. The point of this blog post is to show that the media is clearly showing their bias and hypocrisy by no longer Bashing Obama over the deaths like they bashed Bush.

THE MEDIA IS PROTECTING OBAMA

The media apparently does not care about the Soldiers or about how many were dying. If they did then they would have continued attacking Obama over the rising U.S. Soldier death toll.

The media only reported those death numbers under Bush because they wanted to try to indoctrinate the general public with negative views of Bush. Now that Obama is in office, they are backing off and trying to protect him from negative attention from the rising U.S. Soldier death toll.

Over twice as many U.S. soldiers have died in Afghanistan under Obama in 3 1/2 years than did under Bush in 8 years! Have you heard any major news station of media outlet say that? When is the last time you even saw a death toll number with made up milestones?

Where are all of the anti-war protesters now? Why no big rallies?

This tells me that these groups and the media never really cared as much about the deaths of the soldiers as they cared about just hating Bush and trying to make him look bad.

Not only is the media protecting Obama, they are also giving him credit for things that Bush did.

For instance, Bush policies and actions led to Osama Bin Laden getting found. Waterboarding a Guantanamo Bay terrorist resulted in the tip that eventually let to Osama Bin Laden. Obama was against waterboarding and Guantanamo Bay so if Obama had his way, we would have never gotten the tip in the first place. Obama just happened to be President when Bush Policies came through! New memos show that an Admiral was the person who came up with the plan and made the tough decisions, Not Obama. The memo even shows that Obama was likely going to blame the Admiral if things went bad and Osama was not there.
